Cute clean property right next to the beach. Staff was amazing and super welcoming.

Carpet was a little rough in the main areas of the floors. Shower was confusing and would be good to have the directions posted somewhere. The room was super warm when we arrived and the a/c didn’t seem to stay on during the night so it got really hot in the room overnight.

The location was wonderful, just a few minutes walk to the beach. Very pet friendly, great for people who travel with their fur babies. The services they offered were great: on site restaurant, pool, saunas, and massages, coffee shop, and even an award winning distillery. We just did a short trip but I would like to go back when we have more time to explore. Our room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and they used environmentally friendly products. The room itself was done up in a really cute repurposed item motif that I found functional and refreshing from the usual sterile looking rooms you usually get when visiting bigger hotel chains.

I only had 1 small issue, and that was that the room we were in would get pretty warm and there wasn't a way to just turn off the heat on the thermostat. They did provide a box fan in the room that we made use of along with an open window that helped immensely.

The room service is great especially when we brought our pup. It was the second time staying at the hotel with our pup. Definitely Spyro approved. My daughter loves the pool. We love how close it is to the beach. Definitely our go to place to stay for future visits.

While we loved the room service from the pickled fish. We did breakfast in our room, portion sizes are huge, at least for me. I feel bad about not finishing my plate. The kid's portion size is actually the perfect size for me. Lol. My only other complaint was how warm the room got. We did have a fan and we could open the window. However, I don't trust our pup to not bust through the screen and out the window. He's already attempted jumping out the window of my car while moving. So we could only open the window so much during the night.

The location at the beach was great. It was also easy to walk a little way down the street to the main road and restaurants. The Adrift Distillery next door was a pleasant surprise. Especially since we had 6 tasters each by showing our hotel keycard. The Pickled Fish restaurant is on the fourth floor. We had breakfast there. My Eggs Benedict with salmon was delicious. My husband’s sausage patty was made in-house and it was equally delicious.

The memory foam mattress was comfortable but a bit too firm for me. I have muscular skeletal issues.

The location was awesome! We had a great view of the beach and were able to walk for a few miles on the sand. They had bikes and games to borrow, too. The restaurant onsite was wonderful. I like that they had coffee and tea all day/night. The pool had lots of kids but they had adult swim hours which is nice and the sauna was great.

The room decoration was a bit basic with unfinished wood in the bathroom that smelled like pee :'( I didn't really like the hanging lightbulbs either but the location was so nice that I would stay there again.

Beautiful location by the water, they’ve taken a very plain hotel and did some fantastic, good quality and simple updates that are highly effective.

Our first room had a very off smell to it but when we spoke with front of house staff they were very responsive and helpful. Our second room was much better! There is a small digital alarm clock in the room which I did not think to check and it ended up going off at 6 AM. These things happen but just don’t let it happen to you and sure it is turned off!

The location and Adrift's philosophy and inclusiveness could not be better. Love that it is dog-friendly and LGBTQ+ friendly. The beds were firm but comfortable. The staff is beyond wonderful - competent and perfectly helpful.

Booking.com advertised an Ocean View room. In the annex, we could sort of see the ocean around the original hotel. The price quote on Booking said it included all taxes and two fees, yet Adrift charged an additional set of fees per night. The desk attendant said "Oh, we add our own fee on" Just what?? Fees discrepancy between Adrift and Booking.com was unnacceptable - Adrift should have honored Booking.com's rate! The wifi was spotty and kept dropping out. Communication needs to improve between Booking.com and Adrift as far as their fees and Booking's room descriptions-it is not obvious that there even is an Annex building.

I love the location, the staff, the inclusivity, and the amenities. It’s my favorite spot to stay when we visit Long Beach. I was impressed by the distillery staff remembering my husband and I from our last trip. We are always excited to return as soon as we can.

The only issue was a broken blow dryer in our room, and I couldn’t dry out my wet shoes from walking the beach. I also didn’t bring it to the attention of staff, and if I had, I’m sure they would have responded as they always do—swiftly tending to the issue with care and mindfulness.

The views are wonderful. The hospitality is genuine. The vegan options at their new coffee shop, Current, were delicious.Dog friendly.

The parking lot side has a lot of activity and noise, which is understandable The most annoying are the diesel truck owners that get up early and run their trucks for 20 minutes before they actually leave

We like the location. It’s eco-friendly, and we like having the Pickled Fish restaurant on location. Their food is top notch, although it’s a little spendy.

The light bulbs they use are too bright, especially when none of the lights in the room have any fixtures or shades to lessen the harsh bright lights. Also, the pool heater was out when we were there (pool is one of the reasons why we love the Adrift.).
