The location is great. I can leave my car and just walk to places in town.

The only thing was that I think an extra roll of toilet paper and box of kleenex should be in the bathroom just in case.

The room has been updated since our last visit and was beautiful. It's our favorite spot. The room sizes and prices are unbeatable and the location is absolutely amazing. I love sitting out on the bench in the evenings as the town falls asleep, then you can hear the surf. I love the little fire pit and Adirondack chairs.

The gas grill was there, but it was obvious previous guests didn't clean up after themselves and it was far too dirty to use. It would have been rad to grill some oysters fresh from the bay, but we settled on some from the Lost Roo instead.

Sam, front desk clerk was friendly and very helpful. Room was recently refurbished very nicely and clean.

I thought I had reserved a room with a full kitchen not just a kitchenette without a stove top. Fortunately, we had brought a single burner camp stove with us, and Sam was more than happy to gather some cookware for us. Coat hooks behind the front door would be very helpful. Although we didn’t use the clam cleaning station this visit, it would be nice if it had a covered or enclosed area in case it is raining.

The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils I needed. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Access to the room was excellent because I was able to park directly in front of the door. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful and the hotel was located near the beach access and restaurants/gift shops.

The center support on the queen size bed had been knocked off to the side so there was little support in the center of the bed meaning that my wife and I had a tendency to roll to the middle of the mattress. The second bedroom was smaller than the photos made it seem, but how much room do you really need to sleep when you're there for the beach anyway?

Great location, friendly staff, clean and overall a great value! We rented a unit with separate bedroom and kitchenette, and it was a great space!

This is an older facility that has been nicely updated (I stayed here as a kid with my family 40+ yrs ago). There were a couple of minor issues like damage to the floor near the bed and separating floor tiles, and the unit we stayed in was an older building style with high windows. No issue for us, but if you’re looking for high end finishes and ‘perfection’ this one may not be your jam.

This is a sister property of Atomic Motel in Astoria, OR., and it has much of the same charm. One outstanding feature was the rain shower in our room. It was like bathing in a waterfall. Blissful! The staff was friendly and offered recommendations for local dining and attractions. It is centrally located in the Oceanside region, close to all manner of recreation and outdoor activities. A great place to stay.

Like the Atomic Motel, the breakfast offering was on the slim side, but they appeared to have something of a mini-market in the lobby for broader selection and other necessities if you forgot to pack your toothbrush, etc.

Right downtown. Walking distance to everything in downtown Long Beach including the beach access.

Being in the room next to the office, a potential hotel guest pounded on our door thinking we were the office. Woke us up from our nap. There is no bathtub here and I love my baths. There was no outdoor space to hang out, like a veranda or lanai. There was a paved parking lot one and the sidewalk from the main road on the other side of the building. Many people were walking by on the sidewalk outside our window.

W stayed in a queen suite. It is set up like a little apartment. Very nice.

They need to fix this- the dining table was high and needed bar stool chairs but instead they were regular chairs so you either had to stand or stack pillows or cushions to put the two together. I reported the mismatch and hopefully this will be resolved soon.

the pictures r tru, the outside is a lie. They r doing renos and I'm assuming they'll raise rates after but rooms all have brand new floors and furniture and beds, smart TV etc. Was clean, nice staff, walking location, definitely worth for the price loved the wall signs, especially the "beware of octopus" on top of the toilet XD

no phone in room (not that we ever use one anyway outside of contacting FD) and no front desk on site, as they say in email due to renos nothing else rly but just some notes for the hotel: We stayed in A8 Floors definitely need a rug, probably two, doesn't need to be big or fluffy, can b a matt rug. Its just super empty looking (is prob on the to do list but just in case) Our room was missing a bug screen on the window bedding blanket was definitely summer mode, something thincker would be nice come cold season

ADA Approved and it was better then expected. Large bathroom, no lip on shower floor so my wife could drive scooter right into the shower, She loved it. For this reason we will always stay at this place every time we go to Long Beach, WA.

The hardwood floor was cold but it was cold outside as well. Once we turned up the heat in the room , the floor was warmer. It was acceptable.
