The view from our room was wonderful. We had our dog with us, so we were in the older part of the building, but nice balcony with a view of the woods and side view of the beach. Room was clean and cozy. Appeared to have new carpeting -- so no damp or musty smell. Easy walk to the beach but need to go down a fair number of stairs (and back up those stairs on return).

The futon in the living room may work well to sleep on, but was very uncomfortable to sit on, so we sat on floor. Maybe add some sort of padding to make it more comfortable?

Intro Upon arrival for our one night stay, the room that we had booked hadn’t been cleaned the day prior so we were upgraded to one of the newly renovated king suites with a balcony and beautiful view of the beach. The sounds were also very relaxing, even through a stormy night. The room is beautiful, with a decent size windows for a good view and decent size bathroom. Amenities were plenty; Kurig coffee maker, mini fridge, shower soap pumps, hair blow drier, bath robes, etc. The heating and cooling was easy to control. Looking forward to the pool and hot tub being open when we return. Restaurant Our Waiter, Kyle was a delight to serve us, with good Mannerism and Enthusiasm. In Christmas spirit he offered us free desert on the house and we also received a 15% discount for the meal given at check in for our stay. The meals made with passion and were the most delicious and tender comfortable flavors to have ever tasted. Overall a Very classy and romantic setting.

Razor clams were great; need more sauce with them. Free bread a must. Drinks were good. Both pasta dishes were delicious.

In my mid 40's. In the past 12 years Ive stayed here 5 times. Usually building 4 with wife for anniversary. Once with my wife and 5 kids in the duplex. Restaurant is always very good. I don't know if we'll be back. No more breakfast and no more tavern across the street. There's just not enough dining options around (I hate Seabrook and will never go there). Best of luck. Property is beautiful.

The view, the comfortable beds, the nice decor, the size of the room, The pool and the jacuzzi.

The showerhead, lack of flow The cleaning lady was not pleasant, she asked what we needed, we said make beds and bathroom, she said she would not clean bathroom just change towels, which was ok with us, but didn't like the way she said it. She didn't make the bed, just pulled the comforter over (very nicely) but didn't touch the bottom sheet.

The view from the room, especially at sunset. The oversized balcony. Spacious and airy room. The path down to the beach was very nice with lush foliage! 162 stairs may seem daunting, but was well worth it. We did it twice.

The shower area was very small. They shouldn't have a large 'rain' shower head with barely average water pressure. Regular shower head would be better. No elevator so we had to lug our stuff up to the 3rd floor.

Liked: ** The first impression is one of this place being ok- however, the inside of the rooms were modern, clean and well appointed. The views were also spectacular! ** The spa/pool area is across the street and are excellent! The sauna in particular was very well received after a long day of driving and hiking. The hours of the facility aren't the best 10am-9pm but if you can take advantage of them, do! You won't be sorry. ** Check-in and check-out were easy with friendly help. ** The next town over, Seabrook, is the weirdest place in the world. It's like you have been transported into the future based on all the other stuff around you. That said, nice restaurants, fun to walk around (they even have a video arcade) but it's just weird. If you stop there, you'll see what I mean.

Dislikes: ** Weather could have been better- did not see the sun but as far as this place was concerned, it was very good with one exception...the resolution on the TV screen was terrible. You could see what was going on but no fine details for sure.

The view from our room was fantastic! We watched the sunset with a little fire going. The wooden stairs down to the beach were magical late in the day. We had a decent meal at the restaurant, which also has amazing views. The location is just so beautiful. Beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have the little kitchenette and dining table.

Exterior of the buildings, doors, windows, and bathrooms are a bit worn and outdated. Difficult to get our keys working in the locks. It's not a fancy hotel, but you're here for the views and the location which were fantastic!

this gorgeous hideaway has all the retro vibes I love in a hotel, the foggy trees muffled all sound and the bed has been leveled so I slept well, the tilted floor nudged me out onto the balcony and an early morning walk on the beach was just what I needed to start the day right

they called me to warn me that the spa would be closed for repairs during my visit which was very thoughtful, a heads up that the restaurant would also be closed would have been nice especially considering the lack of options in the area

We stayed in the newly remodeled King suite with ocean view. The room was spacious, nicely furnished and incredible views. Lots of windows(that open) including an extra large covered and furnished deck. The bed and pillows were beyond comfy, you sink in and then float on a cloud(don't ask, that's just how it is). The only let down was the rain shower. There's very little pressure, like an unusually super lite stream of water. I had to wash my hair under the tub faucet. I can over look that bc everything else was superb!

Rain shower pressure was ridiculously weak.

The view of the ocean from the bluff is wonderful. All of the staff are attentive and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. But the highlight of the stay was the restaurant. Exceptionally delicious food. We hope the owners make the move to re-open the restaurant for breakfast.

We didn't have more time to spend at this marvelous facility. There is nothing not to like about Ocean Crest. This place is great in any kind of weather.
