Great location close to transit and Amtrak, which is how we arrived and got around Seattle. Perfect. Loved the old building. Continental breakfast was a decent selection. Fruit, yogurt, milk, juice, granola, hot egg sandwiches, cereal, waffle maker.

My only complaint was the bedding wasn’t warm enough. Had to crank the heat but it was a unit built into the wall, like an older a/c unit and it was really loud every time it came on all night. Didn’t get the heat around the room as it was an L-shaped room, and it was in the opposite L from the bed. Top blanket and under blanket were summer style.

Great location in Pioneer Square district with friendly helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable in our room which was an inside one looking on to some machinery. The hotel was quiet, and it was easy to drop off outside in Yesler Way. We liked all the historical photos and information about the district in the lobby and walls of the hotel.

Unfortunately, the breakfast had no gluten free or dairy free options available and it was not mentioned when we checked in. The server at breakfast advised that they could get some gluten free items in if ordered in advance by 48 hours

The location of this hotel was ideal with walking distance to the light rail for an easy commute to the airport. Attractions were close with the Pike Market 15minutes away. The Underground tour 5 minutes away. (This tour was fabulous with great joviality). The Waterfront was across the road with the Wheel, Seattle Aquarium, Ferries, and Restaurants also very close by. We felt safe walking around the neighbourhood. We had a car and found a park on the street just outside the hotel. Several parking Stations were nearby though if you wanted the added security. We had clear warm days so we thoroughly enjoyed the sunsets by just walking to the Waterfront.

The room offered no view and was dark. The windows looked out to a brick building offering very little natural light. The hot water was sporadic, but mostly it was warm. No tea bags were offered just coffee.

Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. The hotel has character. The room was spacious. The bathroom was roomy and excellent. The lighting in the bathroom is possibly the best I have ever encountered. The continental breakfast had a very good range of breakfast foods and was well laid out and attended.

The air-conditioner was difficult to use and kept going to standby when we wanted it to heat the room. The advice from the front desk to turn it off and turn it on again didn't help. It would have been nice to have been told on check in where the complimentary all hours coffee machine was, as we didn't discover it until the second night.

The hotel is very well located, close to the center - actually a 10-minute walk. Although the furniture is quite old, it can be seen that efforts are made to maintain it - it is in good order. The hotel is quite clean, spacious room, bathroom with everything you need, coffee machine, very good internet... Breakfast - decent: if you only like cereal, fruit, a little cheese, a boiled egg, coffee and juice from the dispenser in the morning - you are in the right place. For a person from Europe, the fact that everything, but absolutely everything, is packed in plastic (including the boiled egg is in a plastic bag, in the fridge) can be an inconvenience and a bit disturbing... I felt like I was in a hospital or like during covid... everyone takes their products wrapped in plastic, opens them and throws the plastic in a bin... it's like eating from the supermarket shelf... but if you're used to it (and Americans probably are) everything is ok

The location of the hotel is very good. It's just that in the evening, if you go out in the area, you will come face-to-face with many homeless people... I mean, many... you will have to get used to the smell of filth and urine and be prepared to face them, including you can find some syringes on the floor... I was in Seattle 22 years ago and I was left with a great impression. I returned with my wife... disappointing how it could be taken over by the homeless... the city is still beautiful, charming, in some places extraordinary - but the atmosphere is spoiled in many places by the mess left behind and - I don't know Why. - tolerated by the authorities... pity... I don't think I will come back...

Great place and I had a lovely room , so spacious ! I had written to ask for an extra blanket to put on my bed for 'weight' and they had 2 in the room waiting for me . Enjoyed a blissful sleep . It was easy distance - I walked in the rain -from the Washington State ferry at Colman Dock .. Wonderful breakfast ....many thanks !

It was a bit difficult to find at first , 4 pm + as I looked down the street ( towards the water ) and the area looked a bit dodgy . I had neglected to find a good photo of the place , so didn't recognize the brick building at the bottom of the street ( I later , saw the neon sign ) . I had wandered a little down the street but then decided that it was incorrect, so walked in the wrong direction and was really soaked in the rain.... 😱

Hotel was beautiful as soon as you walk in! Staff was GREAT and kitchen staff was ON it with refilling everything. Tip those wonderful humans! Every morning it stocked, busy and clean. Staff were very informative and helpful when we asked for help getting around town. Room was clean and nice, beds are comfortable. Great Choices for breakfast and located right in the middle of everything we needed. Public transportation was located close so we took both the monorail and lite rail and it took us straight to the Space needle!

It could have used a microwave, there are so many great places to eat nearby and being able to re-heat the meals we didn't get to finish would have been nice. Not a massive issue for us as we still ate them anyways lol had it been a longer stay it may have bothered us more.

I received a text from the staff ahead our our arrival welcoming us and asking if we had any questions. I mentioned that we may arrive a bit early and if possible leave our luggage and go exploring. They promptly replied, yes. We arrived three hours before check in and were promptly given a nicer room and access on the spot. It started off an enjoyable stay. Very cool Old brick building. Very clean throughout. Nice free breakfast. It also an incredibly short walk to the ferry. Four easy short blocks from the link trolley. Airport, trolley ride to Pioneer Square, 30 minutes. And cheep . This Hotel is a great value. Our thanks to the staff.

The Best Western Pioneer Square Downtown hotel is one in that class of 'classic' hotel - not necessarily grand, but historic and with a great atmosphere that evokes a sense of Times Past. Sepia-toned photos on the walls add to the general ambience, and the rooms' fittings and furnishings are in keeping with the historic vibe. It really fits into Pioneer Square as an icon of the overall zeitgeist of the area. Meanwhile, the rooms themselves have all the modern features that you'd expect and which work well, including, it must be said, excellent wi-fi which never has any sense of slowdown. My bed was very comfortable and in a departure from many hotels in the modern world, not over-blanketed, in other words you can select what level of warmth you want or need, it isn't all or nothing. Location could absolutely not be better, just off 1st Ave on Yesler, close to everything (including, conveniently, the Pioneer Square Link light rail station), and for me especially, coffee (several excellent coffee shops including Elm in instant walking range). Staff are very efficient and friendly, they made life easy for me. Really I couldn't imagine a better stay overall.

Virtually nothing - very little to criticise in what is a great value hotel in an ideal situation.

Room is small but fair enough for a hotel in a city center for a cheap price. Bed is comfortable. Spacious bathroom. Free hot choco/coffee 24/7. Good water pressure in the shower. The garage parking below the building that costs extra $30 was a win-win situation, safe for the car rental. Has free breakfast, limited options though. Fee steps from Pier 52, few blocks away from Pike Place Market. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the city.

Breakfast could have been better with eggs and sausage, or more options.
