I was in Wenatchee for a medical appointment. Because I had to be at the hospital early and was traveling from out of town, the hotel was exactly what I needed for a one-night stay. The bed was comfortable; the room and the bathroom were clean. I was a bit worried at first that the room would have the musty smell I encountered in the hallway, but it didn't. My friend told me her breakfast was very good. I didn't eat breakfast.

There wasn't much to dislike considering that I was only there for one night. I did find the hallway to be a bit musty and humid, but the room was not. Not sure why that was the case, but it could be that the hallways don't have the same level of ventilation.

The room was great! Although I booked a King size bed. And due to personal issues. We were unable to arrive on the date I had booked. We were still able to stay but received 2 queen/full beds. We also enjoyed the breakfast. But was a little disappointed that we couldn't bring our food to our room. The balcony in our room was a plus as well. And the location was especially nice.

We had to take 2 queen/full beds instead of a King bed. Because we arrived a day later than we had booked. And we didn't receive any type of a price break for taking a different room. With smaller beds. Usually there is a difference in price from a Queen/Full to a King. Even though the deposit is small. We didn't receive our deposit back? Would have liked to have the option to take our breakfast to our room. My husband also had expired milk!

Friendly and helpful check in, Sammy even went to fetch items that were not in reception and she delivered to our room. Earlier she had seen us splashed by sprinklers while unloading the car. While we had a laugh, she was also busy taking photos to show her GM - great initiative. Room was large and comfortable. There were 2 sinks and toiletries included body lotion.

WiFi is very slow. Hotel was very busy and there was noise from the pool. No central lighting and quite dark. Bath tap was stiff and needed quite a bit of effort to pull and push.

Good breakfast: fresh scarmbled eggs with or without cheddar cheese. Biscuits and gravy. Waffles. Fruit salad, and more. Price reasonable for size of room and location.

TV controls and channel descriptions were ONLY in the Spanish language with no easy way to switch to English. Only two elevators on the property. Back elevator in the middle of the long back hallway. Mattress was way too soft. Pillows were weird sizes and hard as a rock. Suggest firm mattresses and soft pillows when time to replace.

We liked several things about the Wenatchee Red Lion: The convenient location Our room was spacious, clean of course, but surprisingly extremely quiet. I expected some traffic noises being so close in town, yet there were none! We even had a little balcony and a western view of the beautiful hills. Just as the Red Lion Website stated that the hotel was “pet friendly” and they were true to their word when we checked in with our lil dog. We were greeted with a smile and friendliness by the front desk staff—with the best part being that we weren’t shuttled off to some awful “pet-friendly room”. We got the room we booked —plus it exceeded our expectations considering the great price we paid! Also important to mention, that when I booked online, I had requested an extra blanket plus some extra coffee.— (Ny husband gets cold & I always drink more coffee) So waiting in our room was the extra coffee but also TWO blankets were there for us! Thank you Red Lion. We will definitely stay there again.

Beds and room are spacious. I stayed with 2 other friends in one room and still felt very comfortable. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. Parking is free overnight. The staffs were welcoming. Checking in and out was very fast. We did ask for extra bed 7 days before checking-in day. The staff had the information on the system but there was no bed when we got to the room. However, front desk staff brought us the extra bed in no time.

The pillows could have been better. They are way too soft. We heard guests in the room above us walked almost all night which was not very pleasant.

The staff was incredibly polite, professional, and friendly. There were some really cool wood details to some doorways and in the lobby. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Toiletries smelled good too. Felt like a good value.

There were some cosmetic damages to my room (cracks in the bathroom ceiling, cracks in furniture, etc.), and no screen door for the balcony which meant I couldn't have the door open because there were a TON of beetle/bugs out there. The room was too hot, even after adjusting the thermostat, and the water pressure was too hard (it hurt my scalp).

The room and beds were very comfortable. The hotel was clean, welcoming, and convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have breakfast included. The location was also great. We used the Wenatchee Valley Shuttle (also excellent) as transportation to and from the Gorge for a concert. It was only a 6 minute drive away and an excellent option instead of sitting in traffic for up to 4 hours to get into the parking lot at the Gorge.

The gym/fitness facility was quite small. At least one more treadmill and some free weights would be a great addition. The breakfast was good, but I wished it had more plant based/vegan options, even something as simple as non-dairy milk for cereal or coffee and some non-dairy yogurt. A pot of hot cooked oatmeal, rather little instant oatmeal packages would have been great too!

The property has been well- kept and continues to offer good sized rooms which are very clean with lovely linens and amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are lots of shopping and dining opportunities within walking distance.

A good breakfast is offered but the experience is lessened by the use of paper plates and plastic utensils. I am no ecologist but the optics of this are not good especially when I suspect that they still have a fully equipped kitchen from the property’s pre- Covid banquet and restaurant days.

The front desk lady, I didn't catch her name but she seemed to always be on duty, but she was very friendly, attentive, and quick. Also, the security guy always seemed to be on duty as well. If she wasn't around, he was there and was very friendly and attentive as well. I also liked that she texted me with hotel information and I could respond via text if I needed to.

The blankets were so thin, they seemed like sheets.
