Great price, friendly and quick check in! Nice little motel will definitely stay again if out this way.

The room had windows on both sides of the room which was fine but the curtains are very thin which was not going to keep the light out so as soon as the sun was up the room was bright and with windows on both sides you can't just roll over to avoid the sun but even with that I would stay here again if I am in town.

The room was clean and comfortable. Good bed and good water pressure. The building is older, but well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The door to our room could use to be updated. It was not as sturdy as I would have liked. Its a little loose in the frame, and the dead bolt could not be locked from the outside. It could be locked from the inside. That is just a personal prefrence. The door was fully functional.

The staff was friendly—I was greeted by name when I arrived and he made sure I had everything I needed (including ice) since I arrived later in the evening. I really appreciated being able to check in later after driving several hours after work prior to arrival. The room was comfortable and had everything that I needed (fridge, microwave, AC, hot water, comfortable bed, etc). It is a great location for a weekend at Governor Dodge State Park.

All I needed was a basic, clean, place to shower and sleep over a long weekend and the Pine Ridge was excellent for what I was looking for. My room was spacious; I had a working fridge and microwave; the bathroom was clean and so were the bedsheets and carpet. Zero complaints. I'd stay again :)

The location was good. It was nice and quiet....not a lot of traffic. Amenities were good- wifi, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker.

The only that could be better was if they had a switch in the bathroom that operated the fan. You take a hot shower and the mirror fogs up. Sure you can open a window, but if it's chilly outside you don't want it open.

Old property but well maintained with recently updated bathrooms that was quiet and very clean. Comfortable bed let us sleep very well. Friendly staff.

A couple of minor maintenance issues because the updates are not yet complete, such as that the bathroom door would not close properly. Tiny room, if you care. We didn’t because we were just there to sleep.

It was a great place for a one night stay. Loved the price. It was clean, comfortable and the wall unit a/c's worked very quickly to cool the room down. It was great for the price! We really appreciated how the owners have painstakingly given the rooms facelifts and the exterior too.

It's an older motel and you can tell that the owners have really invested in the place. Our room smelled a bit musty at first but we fired up the ac and within minutes the smell was gone.

It was the cheapest motel in the area. It was generally clean.

It was a tiny, very old motel for the price. The refrigerator had mold in it. Owners need to realize if you are going to unplug it to save electricity then you can't close the door.

Motel room and property was very clean. The desk clerk was very nice. It was close to town without being in town. Close to nearby restaurants. The price was right. Nice walking /biking trail nearby.

Bed very hard. Yellow walls with yellow curtains made the room all yellow.

We were traveling to meet our son in Iowa and this was 2/3 of the way there; therefore the location was just what we needed. We were not looking for a luxury experience, we were looking for a place to spend the night that was comfortable. We forgot some items and were able to pick them up locally. Food choices in the area were also good - from cafes to local bars/restaurants, to food chains. The beds were comfortable and there was everything that we needed in the room. The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was small, but also very clean.

Personally, I did not like the pillows. However, I am picky about pillows and I forgot my own at home.
