I would stay here again! Nice location, very clean, good breakfast with many options - hot and cold, and felt like a new place without the high price of other options.

When I told the lady at check in that I had a moving truck parked in the parking lot, she was very unsure of protocol for that, as if it might not be welcome. I am happy there were no issues. Also, the place says they are pet friendly but I mentioned our cat at check in, they said cats are not welcome, only dogs. They should say “dog friendly”, not “ pet friendly”. I am glad we were able to make other arrangements.

Would definitely stay here again. Check in was easy, cookies at the front desk, popcorn, and lemon water available, that was a nice treat. Comfortable bed and soft sheets, clean room and bathroom. Good choices for breakfast, to include eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, waffles. Tomasa was on duty in the dining room and she greeted everyone with a smile and made sure that everything was well stocked. The breakfast time was coming to a close, but she made sure that it was well supplied and didn't make us feel rushed. Another bonus of the location was a trail around a pond on site.

Everything was good, including the price.

I come to this hotel frequently because it's a convenient location, easy to get our dog a walk, clean, comfortable and the staff works hard. I have had someone at the front desk allow a later than usual check out because we were attending my Father-in-laws funeral. We were so grateful. Yesterday the breakfast attendant was working hard to keep things filled and cleaned. That was a big job.

We did not experience this on this trip but the last three one of the staff sits in the front stairs and smokes. That's a bit much for us. I wish they would do it away from those doors.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. They seemed to really want you to have a good stay. I asked for a quiet room and I got one. Slept very well. Many choices at breakfast and the food quality was fine. Free popcorn and cookies was a little treat in the lobby. My room, the lobby and hallways were perfectly clean. I think it was a bargain compared to higher prices elsewhere. I was there midweek so I can't speak to noise levels when the hotel is fully booked. Lots of restaurants and grocery store nearby. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Not anyone's fault but there was a glitch on my bill because they were switching to a different system. I believe it all resolved and reassured they would help if there were further problems. Very helpful staff.

This property is very conveniently located approximately 10 minutes to Madison. Plenty of eateries right next to hotel to choose from as well if you do not wish to drive. The hotel is so well maintained and so clean I directly spoke to the property manager to tell him how proud of his team he should be!! Every area of this location was impeccably maintained and clean! Our room was comfortable, clean with plenty of workspace and outlets. I travel for a living and I can say this was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The breakfasts were rotated so something different each day with several juices, coffee, tea. There were hot eggs, chilled hard boiled eggs, waffles, sausage gravy, cereals, fresh fruits (apples, bananas, oranges) and the area was kept clean & actual plates & silverware available to use along with disposable!!! WHAAAT?? I can’t express enough how absolutely perfect this property presents itself!! I especially enjoyed the cookies & popcorn offered upon my return each day after a long work day. What a cherry on top addition. Nice job everyone, your hard work shows and I’ll be staying there when I come back to Madison & recommending to all my coworkers.

Not a single thing

I love that the hot tub is open till midnight! So if you have something, you can still use it when you get back to the room. Dominick front desk held the door open for me when my arms were full. He went above and beyond. I love the lake and the bench by it. The whole outside area makes me want to stay in this place every time I come to Madison..

My pillow had an unusual smell. Just switched for another and was fine but was kind of gross.

Suites are comfortable as are double Queen bed rooms. Breakfast is comprehensive, coffee is good, and there is always tea and coffee available.

One inexperienced desk clerk told me that she left me a voice mail bit she only called me. Otherwise the staff was fine. The front desk water pitcher needs replacing, though.

There were so many options for breakfast, snacks, and treats! The room was great - spacious, comfortable, attractive - and the price was absolutely amazing. We could hardly believe how good the value was.

There was only one thing that wasn't fantastic during our stay: for the first few minutes using the shower, there was a loud squeaking/screeching sound coming from the shower head. We mentioned it to the lady at the desk, though, and she said they would look into it.

Popcorn and cookies in lobby upon arrival. Asked for pond view way ahead of time but receptionist never mentioned and or they put us on opposite side of pond view. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Desk with chair plus an extra chair for seating. 4 pillows per queen bed. Coffee and tea ( selection around 8 different kinds) 24 hours a day.

There was ants in hall way around a piece of candy maybe????

The suites feel like home, the breakfast is good, and the manager is good at accommodating guests’ needs. The regular rooms are fine too: in-room fridge and microwave are convenient.

Booking.com is tricky: its calendar week begins with Monday, something to get used to. Not the hotel’s fault, though!
