Very well located for access to things like highway, restaurants, gas stations, sites is such a small town as Spring Green. Room was very big. It felt like we had an additional family room incorporated as part of the bed room. Couch for watching TV was a real nice plus. Quite. No noise from hotel, road or other patrons. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Their big swimming pool was such a nice add after our day of sightseeing. Right down the road from a great breakfast/lunch diner (Anita’s Cafe). Easy to get to everything from highway 14. Short ride to Frank Lloyd Wright and House On the Rock, as well as downtown Spring Green. Great value compared to other hotels in the area.

If there were 100 stars available for lodging, the Round Barn Lodge would receive it. We visited this beautiful and friendly lodge in Spring Green, Wisconsin, coming from our home in central Missouri on vacation to the House on the Rock. Our experience at the Round Barn Lodge was not just about accommodation; it was about being embraced with a level of kindness and care that can only be described as gracious hospitality. Kathleen and Abby at the front desk are not just friendly; they are compassionate souls who went above and beyond to assist us when our vehicle had a minor hiccup during our stay. Our room was both comfortable and spacious, with lovely lighting, plenty of electrical sockets, and a gorgeous fireplace, and it was all immaculate and well-cared for. Everything was in excellent condition; the room even smelled clean and fresh. We had a stunning window view with vertical blinds and a lot of room to move around. Our deluxe King room also held a very nice mini-refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker and supplies, a lovely and spacious dresser and large mirror above it, and a sizable desk with a matching chair and four electrical outlets above it on the wall to plug in my laptop and chargers. The large bed had two lovely bedside tables with lamps, which were ample enough to set my CPAP on, which was greatly appreciated. There was so much storage space, including a lovely closet with a folding wooden door, hangers, extra pillows, and a luggage holder. The bathroom was spotless, with ample space and a nice shower. We appreciated all the additional amenities that came with our room and could not have asked for better. They have an indoor swimming pool that is up to five feet deep and kept immaculately clean. It was a nice way to relax at the end of a long day. There is also a coffee shop/cafe attached to the hotel that is open in the mornings until early afternoon (it currently closes at 2 p.m.). It is exceptionally lovely to visit.

The walls were a bit thin, but the desk clerks were 100% ready and available to help when we had issues with loudness in the next room and asked the front desk for assistance, So we can't complain at all about the service we received!

The front desk ladies were awesome! The room was spacious and spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was warm and clean. Every area of the property looked clean and well cared for. We stayed in the family suite and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals.

I can't think of anything that could have been better.

The staff was very helpful, polite, and friendly. Pool and common are was very nice for gathering since there were several families traveling together.

A few had water problems in their bathrooms. Shower heads are low so required bending to wash hair. Pricing of rooms that were exactly the same varied.

Location was convenient to the sights in and around Spring Green and was very clean. The room was large, and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated that we could open the window for fresh air.

The Lodge is an old-fashioned accommodation. It could use an upgrade from the carpeting to the lighting to the bathroom and furniture.

It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Would stay here again. It even had a coffee shop attached to the hotel. The pool area looked good unfortunately didn’t have a chance to use it.

The only thing was when you first walked into the room it smelled a little musty but once the a/c was on for a minute it went away.

The hallway to our room had a musty stale smoke smell, and the lighting poles in the parking lot which I know are from the 1970s are very low and a hazard for those of us 5 ft 4 folks... some of them were damaged and had sharp plastic sticking out

The atmosphere here at the Round Barn is 2nd to none! All of the staff were amazing, as always, and the pool and gaming area is perfect for the kids. It's within walking distance to multiple eating establishments, and the rooms are spacious and clean. We will be back again!!

Ummm . . . . there was no breakfast. I wish the cafe had been open. I wonder why they would be closed on a Sunday when this is a really busy time of year in Spring Green. The room was very nice - clean, spacious, with an awesome bed!

The rest of the property - check in area, halls, etc. - is a bit tired. It really looks "old motel." That's easy to overlook when the rooms are so comfortable.

It was really quiet and calm despite it being Memorial Day weekend. No screaming kids in the pool was a huge plus. Really clean place, really friendly staff.

I was a little sad that the jet tub didn’t work but 🤷‍♀️ life goes on.
