The location was excellent. Right on the water.Little Beach for kids to play, lots of kayaks and water boards to use.Volleyball court, bikes to use. You can also rent jet skis and pontoon boats for a reasonable price. Very good place for family gatherings and kids. The restaurant Mary's is right on site. Has good food only open for dinner .Reserve the fish boil, it's great. Mike is the guy who does the show. Our room had no patio door to go sit outside ,like many of the rooms had. I was disappointed in this, but we took our drinks and sat out by the water.. lots of lawn chairs, too. It was a bit outdated, but the beds were comfortable and clean. All in all, we had a nice time. It's about 45 minutes from Eprhiam and Sister Bay, which are a must to go visit. Would love to come back with my kids and grandkids!!!

Nothing, maybe to have restaurant open for breakfast. But there are microwaves and fridges in the room to heat up quick bites.

It was a very down to earth hotel. we loved it!! and a casual restaurant on site. The hotel provided toys for lawn games. They even had fish boils when we were there. It’s located right next to the state park. We liked that we were not further north where it was crowded.

I would have liked more housekeeping days, even if extra cost.

It was a great place to stay, and we will definitely be back! The room was very comfortable, clean and a good size. Great food at Mary's and great staff all around! It is beautiful in the fall, especially!

The only downside was the elite crowd, who chose to be very rude to the staff. We felt bad for the servers and staff who had to tolerate it. I think they deserve to have a punching bag in a back room to take their frustration out on. 😬

This property was great! It is located on Sturgeon Bay. The room was extremely clean and smelled clean. It was an incredible value for the price. I would definitely come back. The staff was very friendly as well.

If I had to find one thing it was a slow running drain in the shower.

It is right on the lake, the room was nice and clean. Easy check in and out. Employees were very friendly. Plus, there was a restaurant/bar right at the hotel. Food and service was good. We will definitely be back.. Definitely recommend this hotel

Nothing to not like

Beautiful location! Loved the beach vibes!! Restaurant/bar next door was great!! We had a walkout room with sliders and was great to sit, sip and talk!! Very peaceful! Great price. Very clean and comfortable!!

The only thing I didn't like was that there were no breakfast options really close.

Surprisingly, the room was larger than we expected. Very comfortable beds and a sofa. The big bathroom was newly remodeled and just sparkling! Very quiet place close to a park. A very good food at the restaurant. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Privately owned, nice size rooms, clean, bathroom remodeled, dog-friendly, friendly/welcoming staff, beach, water activities, resort fire pit, quiet location. With so many available outdoor amenities, I’d like to visit again in the warmer months.

The food (Friday night fish fry) ordered from the bar at the resort was not good. Was charged double the price listed in the room binder/info, didn’t seem freshly made, no sides/condiments (tarter sauce/coleslaw/bread…). While the resort is in a quiet location it does take time to get to the more touristy areas of Door County (which I also feel can be a positive). Considering the food experience, plan meals/snacks accordingly.

The openess of the property, very maintained site around the room structures. The staff really works with any issues. Able to get food on site. Our room was really good for us.

The cycling weather. I know.....you have no control of that.

The beach area was beautiful -- lots of activities for any family. The bar was really nice. Food was very good & drinks were done well. Beds comfortable. Staff was great, especially Ada, a waitress.

I would describe the rooms as "rustic". Almost vintage! The place was very clean. Our first impression was "sketchy", but we ended up really liking our stay.
