Pretty large fridge, compared to most other places. Two TVs. Very large bathroom. Gas fireplace outside. Coffeemaker and microwave, so pretty much everything you need to make and store food. Office is open from 9 to 9, so pretty long hours compared with other places.

Sofa and chairs were dirty. The heater/air unit was malfunctioning: i tried to set the temperature to 70, but it kept working it up to between 72 and 77, and I am not sure that was an actual temperature, not just false reading on the display; it seemed the unit went haywire. Also, there are lake views advertised, which are not present at the location, to the best of my observations.

Check-in was friendly, quick and easy. We had a King "Sunrise Suite", and it was great having the extra space, since my husband likes to sleep in, and I didn't have to worry about waking him up. Very quiet, too. With the windows closed, we couldn't hear any traffic noise, even though we were in close proximity to the road. The bed had a thick foam topper, and was very comfortable. The air-conditioning worked great. It's in a great location, and there are shady areas to sit and sip wine or coffee. It's an older property, but fairly priced and the pros definitely outweigh the cons. We knew it wasn't the Ritz when we booked it, and we expected to encounter a couple things that could use improvement, and we did - but who cares? Spend all that money you'll save by staying here on some Door County wine, and fugitaboudit! 😅🍷 We will definitely stay here again.

The room had an odd odor that took some getting used to. The windows cranked open, but then the mechanism disconnected from the frame, making it impossible to close. My husband had to go outside and push the window shut. Good thing we were on the ground floor. 😉 The mini fridge was set in a tray, which prevented it's door from opening, making it necessary to lift the fridge over the lip of the tray each time we needed to open it. I needed an iron, but there wasn't one. The sofa was pretty worn and uncomfortable, pitching us toward the center when sitting down. We each literally tucked one of the throw pillows under one thigh to keep ourselves upright. The room could use a full length mirror, an iron, an extra blanket and better lighting.

Great location. Could walk to places in Egg Harbor. Quiet, could not hear the traffic or any other noise. Safe …and comfortable. It had a microwave and fridge, outdoor sitting area and grills to use. Able to open windows for fresh air (screened). The whole room seemed newly renovated with knotty pine door, walls….the bathroom looked completely new with tile like floor, new fixtures I like that make- removal pads were provided along with excellent instructions regarding what to do if you wanted fresh towels, where to find ice, and other basic information and rules. There is a cafe next door….

Very dark in the hall by the microwave fridge coffee area….we ended up buying a lamp which made all the difference!

Great location, friendly man at the front desk, good price for what you get, bed was comfortable, A/C in the living room worked great, nice to have a separate living room and bathroom.

I would agree with others, there was a slight odor in our room - musty/old but it wasn't overwhelming. It might help to rip out the carpeting. The fabric on the chairs needed a good cleaning or to be replaced with wood or plastic chairs.

For a smaller, older motel, we were pleased with our room. It was nicely updated and quiet despite being on the main road. We had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The air conditioner was recessed and not directly near a bed so it was quieter. Beds were very comfortable and the shower had amazing water pressure. It was nice to sit outside by the gas lit fire each night. It's just a short walk into downtown Egg Harbor, so not having to find parking downtown was great. Nice cafe next door for breakfast.

Not a negative, but the thing we would change is to have a sitting area behind the building, away from street. We liked having the one at the front, regardless.

Our box of Kleenex was empty from the start and there was no back up. Minor complaint, but it was chilly out so we definitely needed it. Then at one point we got locked out of our room after office hours were closed and it took a lot of phone calls for them to answer/get back to us. That’s really the only negative thing I have to say. They should make themselves available for possible emergencies since the doors lock on their own when you shut them and we found that out the hard way. Or just let the guests know so they’re more mindful of it!

There was a restaurant next door that offered breakfast (the food and service were very good). I like the location which is near shopping and the harbor for sunset viewing. The beds were comfortable and the lighting was good. I liked the mini refrigerator. I was able to freeze my ice packs. I was able to park at the door which is helpful for loading/unloading the car. They have a gas fire to sit by at night. It's really inviting and nice.

There's no flexibility about checking in early and with an elderly parents accompanying me, that's important. The drapes need attention. Several hooks are missing.

The location is great. It’s located in a great place to explore Egg Harbor or make your way to other parts of the door easily. The bed was super comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very clean. There’s a fire pit outside to enjoy and a grill.

The building is fairly old and looks a little run down. Don’t expect a luxury boutique. Some of the furniture is not in the best shape. That being said, it was still clean and comfortable and accommodating for a longer stay.

Awesome location. The bed was comfy. The host already had our keys out when we reached. The lakeview from balcony is cool.

Only thing is that the bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working, but that wasn’t a big deal for us. So we didnt bother to call the reception to get it repaired

Upon arrival the room was ready. it was inviting and nicely decorated. Quiet. Towels and services readily available.

i was suppose to have the lakeview, however that didn't happen. I had my reservation available that stated this was the case but it appeared it had been given to someone else.i conceded to take the king suite available which was in the back. The upside is it was tucked away in the corner, cozy and quiet. This situation however would not keep me from booking here again. Very affordable treat
