Bed was very comfortable. Keurig-coffee pot in room. This is a classic motor inn where you park in front of your room. Solid log benches to sit outside rooms but no view. Two covered picnic tables and ice/drink vending machine behind check-in and in back parking lot. Nice staff who take time to give you directions to the sites and gave us coupons as well since we were there at end of season.

No screens on windows so we had a few small flies come in when we attempted to cool room by opening windows. There is a window unit A/C but the one in our room was loud.

Brenda cheerfully introduced herself the moment I walked into the office, and was genuinely interested in our reason for visiting Cody (in my case I was playing music for a cycling group that night). She was very helpful, offering directions to the park, suggesting local restaurants and attractions. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean and everything was well maintained. Even though the motel is located on a busy street, noise wasn't an issue. We stayed in the corner room in the photo, and Brenda even offered to move her vehicle to give us the single street parking spot right out front. It's just a super charming motel and we'll be back.

Only complaint would be that the little fridge was set too cold and froze the food and drink we kept in there.

Brenda was a great host. Communicated with us especially regarding the road closures nearby. Motel was old style but had a very comfortable bed, lounge chairs and coffee machine. Location was very handy to downtown Cody. All units ground floor.

Nothing ...it was just what we needed after a challenging day

Super friendly owners, ridiculously comfy beds, and those fancy Japanese toilets that spray water up your butt, my ass has never been cleaner (pretty sure I’ve got the freshest cheeks in all of Wyoming). And yeah, you can actually walk into Cody like a civilized human instead of driving everywhere. 10/10.

The staff was amazing, and the location was perfect. This precious motel is a bit older but well kept. It was very clean and quiet. There was a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. It is just off the main street in Cody and is within walking distance from several shops and restaurants. I would stay here again.

I can't think of anything I disliked.

I stayed in Western Rose, Cody for access to Yellowstone and Teton Parks. It is far cheaper than staying inside the national parks, even taking additional travelling into consideration. Western Rose is an easy walk from Cody Town, where I ate in the Steak House. Here, I found a warm welcome and local Red Lodge ales. The motel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Parking was outside the room.

Although the exterior of the hotel may look a little dated, I found the rooms to be relatively modern, clean, attractive in design, and fully functional. Including a mini fridge. There was also laundry facilities on site, and a few other amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

What didn't I like? Literally nothing. The place was charming.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at A Western Rose! The room was spotless. The bed was comfortable. But the biggest asset of the motel is Ms. Brenda, the proprietor. She was so friendly and helpful. She gave us such great tips on seeing Yellowstone and other attractions in the area. It made our trip very enjoyable!

The room was clean and cozy. It was nice being able to park right in front of the door. In the laundry room the machines were well maintained and functioning.

There was seldom anyone in the office to answer questions, there was only one full sized towel in the bathroom.

Great location. Good size room. Very friendly staff. Everything you’d expect in room plus ice and laundry on site. Owners went above and beyond our expectations when we inadvertently locked ourselves out. Wish we could have stayed longer.
