Pets allowed, friendly staff, nice clean rooms

No maid service and I stayed for 5 days, did not know you had to fill out a paper for breakfast even though it was supposed to be a complimentary breakfast hotel, hair dryer blew up could not get another, first night a deer was dead right out our door and they didn't get irpt moved for 2 days

We were exhausted when we arrived, having experienced a day adventure through the park. From the very first moment until we departed THE CODY welcomed us providing every accommodation they could with comfort and style. You were aware staff was present due to the fact all was in a constant flow of positive comfort with my needs met before I knew I needed anything. I have a large dog that was also comfortably accommodated in style. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality and snuggly beds!! Debbie Harris and Montana Rip

It was beyond amazing! We were travel weary and Kenny , Phil & Becky made our check in easy. Honored our request for a quiet room on top floor. Even though a bus had also checked in earlier Phil especially accommodated our simple request. The breakfast was incredible, the dining area spotless. The room was ample with everything we needed. They even said if we needed anything to let them know. Sorry this is a long review but no amount of words can express the outstanding service, facilities and location of The Cody hotel.

Not a darn thing

The hotel staff were friendly and loved that they offered a smores kit to have out by the fire. I don't have any young kids, but I saw a lot of kids enjoying this bonus. They have an indoor pool, laundry and weigh room that are clean.

There wasn't much about the place I didn't like. One tiny complaint is that my toilet flushed twice for no reason and the handle suck, just have to giggle the handle. For me the bed as a little too firm, but my husband liked it. So overall my complaints are really minor.

This property and room exceeded our expectations, we booked the King Suite with Spa Bath and were blown away with every aspect of this room. Size of room large, attention to detail with furnishings was homey and not "hotel like", bed and bedding was very comfortable. Pictures online don't do this beautiful property justice, I would absolutely stay here again! Dog friendly, plenty of parking for our truck and trailer and shout out to Gibby at the front desk for the friendly inviting service.

Nothing could be better. This place rocks!

Room was nice with a balcony and mountain view. Breakfast was delicious; especially appreciative of the fresh fruit and real scrambled eggs. Very spacious and beautiful dining room. Coffee and large selection of hot tea available 24/7. There was fresh bakery style cookies and lemon, lime ,cucumber infused water available every day/evening in the lobby. Shuttle service into town.

The king bed was beautiful and very comfortable but a tad too large for the room. It was a very tight squeeze between the wood footboard with sharp sqared edges and the desk/chair. Recommend no footboard to provide more space.

The hotel smells wonderful when you walk in. It is a beautiful lobby. The staff helping us check in and out were professional. Our room was nice, but the bed was not very comfortable. It sunk in the middle. The shower was really weird, almost like it was missing a shower head. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold foods, but the area is small and it was very crowded when we were there. The pool and hot tub area was OK. It's quite small. There were three of us in the hot tub and that was plenty. We also stayed at the AnericInn while we were in Cody. For the price, I'd choose the AmercInn. It has the same amenities with a larger pool area and the beds are much more comfortable. The Cody is nice though, definitely a good place to stay.

The pool and eating area is very small. The shower head was awful. The bed sunk in the middle.

Perfect location for area activities such as Yellowstone, Wild Mustang Tours, 4x4, white water rafting, Rodeo, Buffalo Bill Museum, Old Trail Town etc etc

This hotel could not have been a nicer stop on our travels, from the friendly staff, wonderful included breakfasts, to the clean, spacious, and nicely decorated rooms with comfortable beds and thick towels and with nice toiletries provided. This is a fantastic western themed hotel that is beautifully decorated as such. They provide complimentary coffee/tea/hot water all day as well as fresh baked cookies, granola bars, and fruit-infused cold drinking water in the lobby area, which has plenty of nice sitting areas to enjoy. They also have a nice indoor pool and exercise room. The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and make recommendations. We love this hotel and love the town of Cody. We will be back!

The accommodations were fine but I didn’t find the staff friendly. The guy that checked us in complained about “losing money” through Booking.com. The initial amount he was going to charge exceeded the booking rate. When I showed him the confirmed amount, he said, “we’re now going to lose even more”. I told him that I simply booked at the advertised rate and if he had a problem with Booking.com to take it up with that company and not the customer. Otherwise, the hotel was fine.

During our vacation, my family and I had a wonderful stay at The Cody Hotel. This beautiful, mom and pop hotel showcases amazing photos and the history of Cody's founding. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they offered coffee, tea, and chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. Our room was comfortable and cozy, and we especially enjoyed the great hot breakfast buffet with a variety of options. If you're interested in the history of the Wild West and Buffalo "Bill" Cody, there's so much to do in Cody. I highly recommend this hotel for a vacation stay. We truly enjoyed our time there.
