This hotel had a friendly and capable staff, free cold bottled water in the room that was cheerfully replenished, and coffee in the room, plus free coffee and lemon water at the entrance. The rate was so reasonable that I sure didn't mind having a fresh, hot breakfast with real eggs (with yolks!) at Grandma's Family restaurant (delicious) or something quick at Wendy's, both just across the road. The Blanca Tatanka bar and grill was practically attached to the hotel for good food and rubbing elbows with the locals. It is recently remodeled, smells clean clean clean and anything you need is cheerfully provided. Plus, it's a short walk to many stores, galleries and museums including the Buffalo Bill Cody Center.

For the price of our five-day stay, this facility was fantastic. I refuse to complain.

This inn is excellent. Really good pricing in what we consider quite expensive town in terms of accommodation. It is spotless, well decorated, comfortable bed and a really good sized room. The staff are lovely and it has been nicely remodeled. The wine bar out front was hopping on a Sunday night but we really enjoyed Pats Brewhouse next door (run by women). Our second visit to Cody and the Scout Inn location is perfect! Very central location

We just used the coffee in room. It was easy getting in out. Our TV didn't work because a prior guest logged into Apple and left it in. The staff did an very solid job, she was familiar and worked on it 20 minutes and then opened net flicks as a solution.

It is an older facility but has been very nicely remodeled. Its also not a giant property with long car to room transfer which was nice and expedient. The décor is very nice as well. Beds and bathrooms new For the price it was a very well located room with very easy access in and out. I would make it a top choice on a future visit.

I loved the little care package in the room, the fresh flowers in the lobby and ice water and the little breakfast they had out for guests to enjoy.

I guess the only disappointment would be the the person at the front desk was not very helpful when it came to stuff to do, however the next morning someone else was at the front desk and was more helpful.

My favorite part of the hotel was its location. It was a nice clean room but the location was the best part.

The air unit was very loud in our room so they gladly moved up another room. The air was set at 67 but the room was always warm and humid. Maybe we didn’t know how to work it. It stayed cold enough to not be uncomfortable.

The online photos don't reflect the quality of the rooms. Don't let the outside and the "lobby" fool you, this is a very nice hotel with pleasant staff. Clean, sizable rooms, comfy beds, and a trip to the restroom at night won't wake your roommate thanks to the room layout. Being in downtown Cody was great. Yes, we'd stay again.

Free parking very close to entrance of Inn so not far to walk in bags. Large, clean and relatively recently updated rooms. Great restaurant right next door so you don’t have to drive to get a good dinner!

No view in our particular room - looked out onto trash cans. Not that it mattered as we were only there for a night but you may want to request a different view if staying longer.

The Scout Inn was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is located right on the main road through Cody which would make walking easy. The Blanca Tatanka restaurant is right in front of the Inn on the same property - we ate there 3 times and enjoyed everything.

There is no elevator which made it a little difficult to get up the stairs with our bags,

Very comfortable beds, spacious room and well appointed amenities and bathroom. My son and I had plenty of space to spread out and unload our car into it to keep our valuables safe. Walkable to everything in the cute old town and an excellent restaurant located right in the parking lot of the facility.

They upgraded our room which was very nice and unexpected. They have renovated the inn and it looks very nice. It is in a great location with lots of restaurants and shops. It also is only an hour drive to Yellowstone.

There were a couple of stains/spots on the couch. There were a few times we could hear the people above us, but it’s just an older building.
