Very convenient to the rodeo, to downtown and restaurants/shops. Had ALOT of parking space to accommodate our truck with a trailer(really should add good pictures of the parking area to your website). Had entertainment on the weekend nights. Just sat outside our room and listened. Very relaxing! Had free carriage rides and pool was warm and clean and always open. Staff was very nice!

We got clean towels every day and trash emptied but floor didn’t get swept and TP wasn’t checked daily. I asked to get it done. Clean bed sheets when I asked too. Not really a big deal but I was told they clean rooms daily.

The location was perfect for us. It is very close to The Cody Cattle Company and the Cody Nite Rodeo, which we both went to. The room was clean and looked just like the listing pictures. The lady at check in was very nice and accommodating to us, as we had to make changes to our reservation. Checkout was a simple process.

As soon as you walked in the room the smell of Clorox/Chlorine smell hits you in the face. The AC in the room did not work properly, we had it set on the lowest setting and it would not get cold enough to keep the room cold through the night. We woke up and it was very stuffy and hot.

The staff was super friendly. I had made a mistake in my original booking and they made it super easy to fix without charging me extra. There was a heated pool and little playground for the kids to use up some energy before bed. 5 days a week there is a free stagecoach ride around the parking lot. Some might consider it a little cheesy but it was an unexpected treat that was super fun for my boys. The floors seem to be new and everything was very clean.

It seems they might be in the process of updating different elements in each room. The bedspreads are a little outdated, but they were clean so it wasn’t a big deal for us.

We arrived late, reception was still in office and was very accommodating and friendly. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Bathroom was adequate. Pool was wonderful. Sadly, we didn't meet the horse.

A chain/deadbolt to lock the door from the inside at night would be good for added safety. Used a chair instead.

Everyone there was incredibly friendly & we loved going on a horse drawn wagon ride around the motel. The view we had from our room was stunning & we loved relaxing in the wooden chairs on the balcony. Lots of room to move around in & the beds were comfy. Great place to stay & one that you won't forget due to all it's great character!

The towels were a bit thin & rough but everything else was great!

We were on the second floor, the balcony outside of our room faced the mountains. Spectacular view in morning and the evening. We were able to take a horse drawn carriage ride around the motel all three nights of our stay. The people were very friendly, and we made new friends. Also close to the rodeo grounds. I would recommend it very much. David

Loved the location, close to food and venues, live music from 6-8 on the night we stayed, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. We saw families enjoying the pool. And there was plenty of parking for those pulling a trailer.

Our only thoughts for improvement were more outlets in the room and an exhaust fan in the bathroom. That humidity was hard on the A/C.

The views were great, you could see the mountains and the Shoshoni river! The room was spatious and nicely decorated. The bathtub was a great size and very comfortable. Staff was nice. There's a shooting range right in front of the hotel with historical guns I also recommend. There's a historical trail right next to the hotel along with a recreation of an old western town.

Everything was fine, nothing to criticize. The only downfall of this place is that it's "far" from the city center, on the edge of Cody.

Last minute booking on a x-country trip, I had apparently previously missed out on the Big Bear Motel in past trips thru Cody. In my defense, the place is just never available in the summer but I'm glad I was able to finally stay here during the off-season. Super friendly and funny welcome, spacious clean room, classic Western-style motel, perfect location with access to everything nearby and stunning 360 views, but most of all AMAZING COFFEE!!!! I'm used to brewing "trunk coffee" on-the-go on roadtrips (vs drinking watered-down whatever) but was shocked at how good and strong the coffee was and how generously it was offered upon check-out. If you're on the road for a while, you know how important good coffee is, so I'm not ashamed to admit this was one of the highlights of my visit to Cody this time around.

Check in process; room was spacious and clean; great views from the balcony; BBQ was a complete unexpected bonus; watching fireworks from inside the corral, was another added value!

I wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed two nights and they were great. I can't think of anything that I didn't like about our stay.
