Nice hotel Big rooms Great restaurants nearby

As in many hotels in Uzbekistan, there is no way you can come in the hotel without carying your havy bag on a staircase.

This is the second time I have stayed at Leader Hotel. My family and I liked it so very much the first time we stayed and have decided whenever I return to Tashkent I will book same hotel. It's spectacularly clean, room is dust-free, and they have a small hamam in the basement which can be used for a small price. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel where delicious breakfast is served.

The beds were a lot firmer than I remember when I visited the first time. But I did notice no matter which hotel I stayed at in Uzbekistan this seems to be the norm.

I've read a lot of controversial reviews about the breakfast. It is actually good, full bar with different eggs options, meat, vegetables, cereal, sweets, cappuccino, etc. Yes, they are lacking on juice and fruits though. The location is pretty convenient given you can get a taxi anywhere for $1-2 and you don't need to drive through the "Old Town" streets. A lot of stores and restaurants in a walking distance. Other than that, we didn't have any issues with the stay at this property.

The flooring in the room we stayed in needs replacement. The shower head was very much broken. The sauna use was quoted at $25/h which is exorbitant for Uzbekistan.

The rooms were very spaciouus, well equiped and nicely decortated, beds comfortable and hotel staff friendly. The location was also good, close to the airport and centre by car.

The gym is very modest, and the treadmill jams, so you can't run on it. Requires service. Breakfast is mainly buns, sweet rolls, pizza and pasta, plus some tomatoes and cucumbers. The airconditioner was noisy and we had to switch it off at night. Fortunately our room had few windows and we could make some draft in the room making the sleeping pleasant. The drainage siphons in the bathroom have no non-return valve and when you enter it smells of sewage

Location is good. Quiet place. Nearby Grocery available. Reception staff was very good. They have arranged taxi whenever required. Main attraction is breakfast. While booking we have requested for an early breakfast. even though their breakfast timing starts from 8, they have arranged that for us by 7. Variety of dishes available. Uzbekistan style pancake- Blini was tasty. My kids liked that very much. We got a room with balcony view, it was spacious, neat and clean. Very helpful staff, also speaking English.

Everything was good. Better to keep universal charger pin. Only that the problem we faced there.

Honestly, I liked everything about "Leader Hotel". The staff were very friendly, and they helped with every request of mine, starting from ordering taxi, booking, laundry. The Hotel was excellent, the bed was comfotable, very good neighborhood.

Honestly, there was nothing that made me upset. Everything was up to par!

Overall had a great stay. The room was very comfortable. I really enjoyed using the hamam facilities which cost about £16 for an hour. The restaurant next door serves authentic Indian food. The hotel is only a 10 min drive to the airport.

Breakfast could have been more extensive. I'm gluten free and lacto intolerant, and struggled to eat much as most of the breakfast was served with bread and pastries.

I liked Leader Hotel very much overall. There was a glitch with ventilation system, our room getting strong smell of frying and cooking early morning once. The staff were kind to give us another room, so that was fine. The breakfast was alright, a little into the heavier and starchy stuff - that's typical in Uzbekistan though. All staff were very kind, helpful. The room was spacious (I guess we booked a bigger one), the balcony was nice. A few good restaurants nearby.

Making an accessible entry at main entrance would have been good for the future. Some reviews mentioned very hard mattresses before - actually, those mattresses, indeed harder than usual, were very good, we all had very comfortable sleep!

The room was clean and spacious, and all facilities were in very good condition. Every day, water bottles were provided without asking. There is a 24/7 grocery next to the hotel as well. The hotel provided a car with a driver for the mountain trip at a reasonable price (double the normal taxi). The staff speaks good English and welling to help.

The breakfast must be enriched with friut,juice, and more diary products.

Room medium size but with fridge, aircon, window, good shower, heated towel rail. Good elevator and wifi connection. Metro about 15min walk but very easy to get to city centre. Useful shop ooosite enranc. Good restaurant, Jumanji, close by. Staff extremely helpful.

Breakfast average to poor.
