Beautiful view and pretty comfortable room although mattress & pillows were both a bit firm. Room was a bit small but shower was spacious, hot water. Hotel was very clean and nice porch. They kindly loaned me a power converter and gave me extra water for my room. Good value for the money too.

Not the most convenient location for walking around town but doable. Sometimes smelled cigarette smoke from guests smoking in nearby rooms which leaked through my windows. Photos of the room online looked much nicer than the reality, room was quite small.

BEST BED AND PILLOWS, I vouch for it. I slept super well thanks to it all. Pretty quiet, the staff are all amazing and speak english very well. You can refill your water bottle in the pantry (yay!). Nice view from my bedroom too :)

Not so much as not liking it, but at night the hotel area is a bit dark so it won't be comfortable for solo female travellers to walk back. But getting a grab is easy peasy so no stress about this.

The receptionist was super friendly and extremely helpful. He helped book my trips and arranged my sleeper bus to pick me up from the hotel. He also held my bags after check out so I could continue enjoying the city. For my early morning cloud hunting trip he gave me a courtesy wake up call to ensure that I did not miss my trip.

Shower drained a little slow if you use the rainwater shower head but would only be an issue if you take long showers.

The lady at the front desk was so helpful, with a lovely gentle manner. The hotel was not huge, which was nice, and was out of the chaos, and close enough if you wanted to go there. Everything you need is close by, including the brewery pub which has great meals and amazing home brew beer.

This is my second visit to Vietnam and my first visit to Dalat. I have little knowledge of Dalat, but I am very looking forward to this visit. As the vehicle is approaching the city, I can see a lot of houses in the distance, with white walls and colourful roofs, which are scattered at different heights. They are either on the top of the mountain or hidden in the forest, which is very bright and different from plain cities. This reminds me of Jincheng Town, the old county town of Yilong County in Sichuan Province, and also Darjeeling of India. The Song Anh Hotel is a hotel renovated from a residential villa, located on the western slope of the golf course. The view on the third floor where I live is very broad, with a close view of the golf course, gentle slopes and shallow grass along with winding streams. Looking eastward, the city walls in the distance are particularly dazzling in the bright sunlight. The houses are scattered among the mountains and forests, gradually merging with the blue sky and white clouds. Ms. Nhật Lệ, the hotel reception, although she has only graduated from university for one year, she is already the manager of hotel with outstanding work achievements. She is enthusiastic about her work, has a gentle attitude, and is knowledgeable and smart. She always tries her best to provide assistance to customers. The other one of the reception is a college student who is working as Part time job in the hotel during the summer vacation, wearing black framed glasses, being gentle and quick to work, appreciated by the boss. The purpose of traveling is not only for the beautiful scenery, but also for the beautiful memories that will still be kept inside no matter how time goes by.

Good budget option, felt it was good value for the price. A bit out of Da Lat but walkable down to the lake in 20 minutes and grab is a good option.

Rooms look slightly nicer and bigger in the pictures.

Location was great - quiet, but just a short walk to town or to the market. Lots of nice places to eat locally too. Lovely, modern and bright, with nice decor - it was a really nice place to stay.

Unlike everywhere else we stayed in Vietnam, the staff were polite but quite cold. We were the only guests there for the two nights we stayed, and we didn’t feel very welcome. On our second morning (and last day in Vietnam), we were woken at 6.30am by staff outside our room shouting to each other. This went on for more than an hour, so we gave up trying to sleep. The acoustics of the building made it sound like they were in the room with us.

Simple and affordable. Great staff.

a bit tiny elevator and corridors around for circulation. Inside room illumination is all bulbs or nothing. Is not comfortable for reading. TV just local channels and bad image.

Overall good but their walls are built from paper (you can literally hear your neighbours peeing). Also lot of mosquitoes as there in no AC and you need to have your windows open.

Beautiful room, everything new and very comfortable. At night, Viet at reception spoke good English and was extremely helpful. Went out of his way to make me comfortable.

Not all staff speak English.
