this was a birthday getaway and the resort was beautiful. Book the deluxe pool view room that had such a stunning view and dinner at Table 88 was 10/10. loved the stay there

For the amount of money you’re paying, the shuttle bus to old town/downtown should be free. not that the shuttle bus was running round the clock, it’s just one drop off and one pickup but you’re still charged for it. other hotels around the area offered free drop off and pickup so this was a huge 👎🏼 for me

The location the pool the rooms however the staff were the stars absolutely incredible. They went above and beyond at every turn . We cannot thank them enough for making our Holiday so special. Special shout out to Hiep Ngo who was always there with a warm smile to help us organise everything - a shinning example of wonderful customer Service. The team at the Grill Restaurant sublime amazing food and service you should be so proud . The team at the pool bar who went out of there way to make us feel out home thanks so much Vuong you were awesome ! Phuong Vo Front Office Manager thank you for leading by example and creating such a wonderful team - who truly care for their guests. Last but not least Nguyen Dang Ass F and B Manager your warmth and hospitality made our stay.

Maybe more food options another cafe or restaurant or theme nights.

The breakfast selection was great - I looked forward to coming for breakfast every morning. They had a special coffee every morning, and that was really nice. The room and bathroom facilities were excellent. But what was most impressive was the staff service. They could remember who we were, and even some of our preferences, and what we ordered the day before. I loved the space, it didn't feel like anyone was encroaching upon our personal space. Food was a little on the pricey side, but I suppose it's to be expected at a resort. Love the pool as well!

When we were there, the Mix Bar was not open. Apparently we were told they only open for events - thought it would be nice to be communicated somehow on the website or something, cos we were looking forward to it. But it's a small issue.

Granted us an earlier check in and a later checkout to accodmate flight schedule - which was great Kids had a lot of fun at the kids club and also at the painting area We enjoyed the main pool by the beach Great options for breakfast Clean room with great views

First room given to us didnt have a functioning AC , the hotel sent technicians who didn’t do anything and said the AC worked when it clearly didn’t. We had two rooms and the bedroom AC was cool while the living room was hot. Hotel then offered us a fan which I didn’t agree to. They eventually changed our rooms and the stay was much smoother after. Kids pool area seemed a bit dated and could use an update.

The breakfast was very good. The cocktails were superb and refreshing. The place has ample entertainment activites for the kids. My 1.5 year old thoroughly enjoyed her time in the play area. They also have a kids 'water park', very nice.

However, the pork bahn-mi at the La Plage was not that great. Our hotel (building 2) was on the far end from the breakfast and main reception area, so there quite a walk, unless you book a buggy.

Amazing large rooms, with a very comfortable bed, facilities and staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. A fantastic resort stay if you want a little more peace and quiet, away from the main drag.

Long wait times for snacks and drinks by the pool, lacked evening entertainment, needs some kind of bar with music etc for the evening. We loved the sunset vibes down by the beach but the DJ set was only from 5-7pm!

We spent 11 delightful days at this wonderful resort. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve decided to return in March. Everything was to our liking, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The resort boasts three excellent restaurants, with our favorites being The Tables and The Grill. We had a delightful hot pot dinner at The Tables and a sophisticated dining experience at The Grill. Every breakfast was a joy, among the best in our many stays, offering almost everything we expected. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, and although I can’t name everyone here, I’d like to specifically mention Vu Nguyen, who made a great effort to accommodate our needs for our next stay. The resort features an incredible swimming pool, measuring an impressive 250 meters in length! We extend our gratitude to everyone for their hard work and dedication.

It would be good to display the temperature of the pool water

Huge pool to relax by. We had a great room with a plunge pool close to the beach. Breakfast buffet was awesome.

It might be starting to age a little. Location is a bit isolated but it’s a huge hotel so understandable where it is. Car journey into Hoi An is long enough. The gardens along the plunge pool rooms were very unkempt and needed attention. Lots of weeds and dead plants.

Simply amazing. Great hotel, the staff is friendly and supportive, breakfast buffet was wonderful, huge swimming pool that allowed both great playing with my son, but also serious swimming, and lastly nice beach, with good access to the sea. Couldn't ask for more.

The only "even better if" would be to add some more shaded areas, as the sun in the region can be extremely hot. Also I would recommend to offer more Vietnamese food in the Hotel restaurants.

We stayed at the Sheraton Grand Danang for 3 nights at the start of January. The hotel itself is a grand construction with the largest swimming pool I've ever seen in my life. It's hard to fault the hotel itself, but it was also hard to fall in love with it or recommend it. They didn't do anything wrong, but for the price point, it was lacking that something extra special, and food and beverage within the complex is quite expensive compared to other accommodation that was stayed at during the trip. While you are a little marooned, and quite a distance from Danang city itself, you are just as close to Hoi An, so for travellers looking to visit both Hoi An and Danang, but not wanting to commit to 2 different hotels, this presents the perfect location.

Again, no fault of the staff at the hotel, but there was a distinct lack of atmosphere for a resort style hotel (i.e. anything by Shangri-la group). Food and beverage options within the hotel are also on the high end.
