everyone was very friendly. staff were extremely helpful and kind. had great English. breakfast was very good. pool was beautiful. would definitely stay here again.

The staff at the reception were quite rude and had a very low level of English. Not helpful and with a bad attitude! When we tried to book a taxi with them we felt as if they wanted to scam us as they were asking double than what the driver asked us. The breakfast wasn’t the best with limited options

We spent five nights here and really enjoyed the room. This is a beautiful new-feeling hotel with all the amenities. We had a large room ( big enough for our morning yoga) with a comfortable king bed and nice view. Nice big shower and bathroom. Very clean and beautifully appointed with comfortable furniture, and very quiet. Our room would have been much pricier, but we were offered a deep discount, I think because we booked late and they are getting into low season, so we scored. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide variety of eastern and western foods, including fresh fruits and vegetables. You can also order omelettes, etc made to order, and everything is well prepared and fresh. Breakfast hours were also great, begining at 6 am for early risers like us. The staff was cordial, responsive and available at all hours. They summoned taxis and communicate our requests to the drivers.

The location is not ideal. It worked for us because taxis are cheap and available, but the hotel is somewhat out of the way with respect to attractions. There is a busy street just around the corner for groceries and shops and some eateries, but if you just want to walk around the neighborhood there isn't much going on.

The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were a decent size. The bathrooms were fantastic and clean. After not having a hot shower for a few days my family and I really appreciated a working shower with perfect temperature water. The pool in the 4th floor was great - the hotel needs to invest in a pool cleaner - there were black things floating in the water.

The food was a little strange. They claimed to have a Western menu…and after suffering food poisoning at our previous stay, we just wanted simple plain food we knew. The chicken nuggets and chips my daughter ordered were arancini balls 🤷‍♀️ and the chips were a tad cold. In fact, all the food came out cold. The hotel is far from the international port and the “centre” but if you’re not planning on venturing out too much, it’s fine.

We ended up having to stay longer in Ha Long Bay after my wife got ill on a cruise, so I just booked the first place that looked decent. Huge score, this hotel is great. They let us into our room early (for a small fee) so my wife could rest. The room was spacious and really well done. I went to the lobby to work at a table, had a fresh cappuccino made by the staff. Lot's of light, great lobby with great chairs and tables. Our room was super quiet and we had a great view of the bay. Really good neighbourhood as I got some supplies for us. Overall, this was a great hotel in Vietnam with really great staff, and a good breakfast in the morning. They also helped us with transportation the next day to our next destination.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel in Ha Long! From start to finish, the service and communication were excellent. The staff was exceptionally friendly, always ready to help us arrange transportation and available whenever we needed assistance, whether at reception or online. They recommended a Ha Long Bay cruise that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip—an amazing experience we wouldn’t have known about without their guidance. The hotel itself was stunning, with stylish decor and high-quality materials that made every space feel both modern and welcoming. Our room was spacious, filled with natural light, and featured a fantastic shower and a big, comfy bed that made relaxing after a day of exploring a real pleasure. The location couldn’t have been better, either—plenty of shops and restaurants were within walking distance, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Overall, this was likely the best place we could have chosen in Ha Long. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, style, and exceptional service!

Exceptional value - very cheap for the quality of the room. Very large and spacious. Bathroom was excellent too. Booked during low season so it felt like we had the entire floor to ourselves. Being on the 11th floor is was whisper silent. Couldn't hear the traffic from up here. I needed laundry urgently and they were able to accommodate it within a few hours. Extremely happy with this hotel. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful, elegant, well presented and new. For once the photos are actually a precise representation!! Amazing lobby and bar area, lovely pool and the breakfast impressive with everything you could hope for and more! Large room very comfortable with all amenities. First Class!! Highly recommend!

Nothing at all! Area is quiet but just a few mins in taxi to the centre and Sunworld cable car attraction park. We visited at the Tet holiday so not much choice of restaurants etc open nearby but I only mention this to inform others usually will be plenty of options.

The hotel is lovely, beautifully decorated and has a great pool. Anh and all of the other staff were so helpful and friendly, ensuring our stay was as relaxing as possible. We also booked a day cruise through the hotel which was very easy.

Ha Long city is unfortunately very quiet, with a limited choice of restaurants and things to do nearby. However, if you want a relaxing couple of days it is a great choice of hotel.

The hotel is a big hotel, we were the 11th floor so had a great view! Staff were helpful but did not always speak English. We did have a great trip onto Cat Ba

The area around the hotel (the whole of Hà Long Bay really) felt quite impersonal, E. G. we did not find a restaurant we liked. Not the fault of the hotel obviously, but part of the experience.
