We were there waiting to leave for a Halong Bay tour the next day and it was OK. Nothing to complain about but not much to be enthusiastic about either. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

One of the beds creaked and there were no services close by for food. We arrived rather late but not terribly late and the hotel did not offer services for eating, like room service. We were told to walk close to a kilometer to a near by street that had street food. We ate the sacks that were in the mini bar in the end.

Amazing breakfast. The omlete, delicious. The rooms are comfortable and they were close to the port where we arrived with our yacht. Staff speaks great English and is very friendly and helpful. One of them chased me for a few hundred meters because I forgot something in the room.

In the first days, there was music in the corridors, which did not help my sleep.

Our hotel has a great location, just 5 to10 minutes walking distance from the Sun World Centre Ha Long, a long street with restaurants and a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus station. The hotel room was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast had many choices. The hotel front desk staff was very friendly to every customer, especially Miss Bac who helped us arrange and book the limousine bus from Ha Long to Ha Noi. The bus came to the hotel and picked us up. She was very accurate and attentive in sending us to the bus. We really appreciated her help. She helped us with pleasure and did not seem troubled at all. We were strangers there and the online transfer information was not updated. We were stuck and did not know how to get around. Thankfully, she came to our rescue and we were very grateful for her! The price of the hotel room was good for the value. We would come back again if we had a chance to visit Ha Long again. We would recommend everyone to stay at this hotel. We have also two sweet tips: 1. If you stay at Vincent Halong Hotel, it will be fun to take a Hop On Hop Off sightseeing bus to look around and see how beautiful Ha Long City is. 2. After dinner at the restaurant, keep walking down the street until you find a yummy dessert shop.

Vincent is a very comfortable place to stay. The rooms are large, very clean and comfy. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the bay. Staff at reception are helpful, efficient and polite, booking our trip to Halong bay islands and caves with hotel pickup. The hotel is close to the terminal from where the boats leave. Another day, reception ordered a taxi for us to Tuan Chau Wharf (10km) for our day trip to Cat Ba island. Walk-on car ferry and bus for an inexpensive day out seeing the islands and Cat Ba town. Breakfasts were sufficient with eggs, pho, noodles, fried rice, etc, fruit, toast, jam, juice, tea/coffee. The hotel is well managed with lots of attention to detail. Only a little english spoken but we had no problem communicating. The sound proofing in the rooms is quite good. In my opinion Vincent Ha long Hotel rating is more like '4 star'. Excellent value for money.

A small observation. There were many new building and construction projects happening in Ha long city. Unfortunately these days it seems almost inevitable in such a beautiful place as this. These projects have mostly been held over during the pandemic. Expect to hear some noise from construction activity in most areas of Ha long in coming months. Obviously this is no fault of the hotel. Suggested improvement - safety deposit box in the rooms.

Great location. Although not so close to the beach - it is still within some walking distance but the neighbourhood is quiet, safe, short distance to restaurants and the cable car. Due to the low season our room was upgraded to a better view - full sea view (and the cable car). The hotel is new, tidy, staff are helpful. Breakfast is not super great to our taste, but you won't go away hungry, even got pho in the menu. Some nice coffee shops are also around.

Stayed here for 12 nights and it was perfectly reasonable. Overall the staff were very nice (although English isn't widely spoken with Google Translate and some charades we generally understood each other), eager to please and welcoming. Arriving in the first week of October we were almost the only guests apart from the first weekend when there were several large groups and this meant that around halfway through our stay we were offered an upgrade to a seaview room (and if you're visiting Halong Bay then a seaview is a bonus) so that was nice. However there was a downside, the seaview rooms are at the front nearer the road so the room was noisy compared to our original room. Although some bookings sites say this hotel is 100m from the beach that's incorrect, it might be 100m to the coast (that's currently being built in to a marina but the beach is 15 minutes walk away (but it is a beautiful beach!) Another downside was the breakfast, our first morning it was a buffet with a good choice but the rest of our stay (due to the lack of guests) the buffet wasn't available and sometimes we got a couple of fried eggs, sometimes Pho, and sometimes a sandwich, some watermelon and coffee was also provided but after the buffet the first day the reduced choice, whilst understandable, was a bit disappointing. Generally the location is quite good, loads of restaurants within 1-10 minutes walk, 15 minutes walk to Sun World, 15 minutes walk to the beach. Both rooms were very comfortable, air conditioning and showers all worked fine and the staff were nice and smiley. On our last afternoon one of the receptionists knocked on our door and presented us with a little cake and card thanking us for being their guests... (this was a first for us and we've stayed in a lot of hotels)! Another receptionist (she was the one who upgraded us) was very helpful and very patient with my attempts at communicating.

Breakfast choice dependant on guests in hotel. Would have preferred more English available with staff. Better accuracy in description as not 100m from the beach.

Centrally located, close to interesting parts of Hanoi, shopping, restaurants and attractions. Accessible and very helpful staff. Good breakfast. Definitely an accommodation I recommend!

The lady at the front desk called Tan was kind and accommodated my requests. Unfortunately, her efforts were wasted as the travel company canceled the trip on short notice. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean with a view of the bay.

We were upgraded to a much larger property than we had booked which was fantastic. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Value for money is unreal

Lovely little hotel, sizeable and clean rooms. No issues at all.

Not probably the best value of money as we have stayed in a few hotels for less money in better locations with brekky
