Nicely laid out apartment with great storage and desk space. We liked the location with plenty of nice restaurants around. Good value for money.

A few things we noted- The hot water in our room didn’t work on arrival and it took until lunch time the next day to get sorted. The bathroom would completely flood within the minute of showering due to poor drainage. I feel this is common in Asia, but this place was the worst we’ve had! And the bedroom faced directly into neighbouring apartment, so curtains had to remain shut for privacy. Natural lighting was not the best.

What was most important to me is pet friendliness and the hotel didn't disappoint. We did have to move rooms initially because my dog barked (didn't like being left alone) in the room and other guests have complained. We were moved to a building next to it where many people had pets already, so that was solved quickly. The admin was always available and ready to help. We also really liked the fact that there was washing/drying machine in the room, we just had to buy some detergent. We ended up staying for more than a week.

We thought we'd stay just for a few days and all we needed was a bed, but since staying longer and spending time in the room more we realized that not having a proper window (ours was facing the external emergency stairs) can feel a bit suffocating, as the room had almost no natural lighting. It is totally worth it to pay a bit more and have a better window. Also, the shower was semi-clogged so while the water would go down, you'd have it overflowing within 5 minutes. For some it might be important, so note - rooms aren't very sound-proof, so you can hear easily what happens behind the doors.

I loved staying in this cozy apartment—it was super comfortable and clean. It has everything you need for your stay, including a stove if you feel like cooking, and a washing machine, which is a big plus for travelers. The location is very convenient, close to West Lake, restaurants, cafes, and markets. I recommend walking around to explore the area. While it's not close to the Old Quarter or Hanoi's main attractions, there's a bus stop just a few steps from the hotel that will take you there. Grab is also very accessible and convenient. Last but not least, the staff are very kind and friendly.

The hot water didn’t work. The water wasn’t too cold, but I couldn’t get it hot. I was really craving a hot shower after my long trip from Da Nang.

The studio was very clean w/ a good-sized closet + comfortable bed. Although it's right by the busy main road, it was surprisingly quiet. My partner and I took advantage of the washing machine (washer/dryer combo) as we had been traveling. We messaged the property beforehand if we could get some laundry detergent and they had some extras (presumably from previous guests) so we were able to do it pretty soon after checking in. We didn't have too much time + the weather wasn't so nice when we were there but I think it would have been nice to see the sunset at the Westlake.

The location was a little tricky. Not much in the immediate area so we took Grab to go almost anywhere. I think it said garden view but the view from the room was the fire escape stairs lol. As a feedback to the property, hand soap + a towel rack by the bathroom sink, and dish soap + sponge in the kitchen would be nice!

The staff is very friendly and helpful! - The price value is fantastic! - Loved that the apartment had everything you needed, including washing machine, kitchen and microwave. - It felt very safe!

I was hesitant to write something as the price value is so good and the place is easily a 10/10. Take these more as considerations/nice to know about: - Shower is very small and the showerhead super low (if you're >1.80m you won't be able to stand up straight) and the hot water boiler has a very low capacity, so showers were a bit uncomfortable and felt rushed. - If someone cooks the whole building smells like it, inclduding your room - The outward isolation is good (so you don't really hear traffic noise) but inward very bad. So you'll hear everything from your neighbours (talking, watching TV, ...) - Some neighbours smoked in their room, the smell crosses into the other rooms. - You'll have to insist on room service, it isn't always done automatically. - Cleanliness is good, not great.

I found this place to be an excellent, pet friendly hotel, situated in a nice quiet area near West Lake. Located within a 20-minute drive from Noi Bai Airport, and about the same to the centre of Hanoi. Several cafes are within walking distance, as well as a few Circle K & Winmart convenience stores and restaurants (mostly catering for Western tourists/visitors and not many local types). Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly host, who aided me with my bags down the narrow walkway (decoratively lit up at night and securely locked after hours with entry accessible via your rooms keycard), which led to the hotel's reception and accommodation buildings (two of). There's also a small garden area with some seating adjacent to the reception area and an undercover parking section for motorbikes. My air-conditioned room, which was accessible by an elevator, was clean, spacious, and had its own modern private bathroom. The room was bright and modern and had a medium-soft comfortable king-sized bed (5 out of 10 on the hardness scale). It was equipped with a flatscreen TV (Netflix app available), a refrigerator, a microwave, and a kettle, and furnished with a large wardrobe, desk & chair (with illuminated mirror), and some cupboards. My room also had a small (tiny) balcony good only for standing. WiFi was also freely available with a good, strong, and constant connection. In the past, when I travelled to Hanoi, I stayed near Hoan Kiem Lake (Old Quater) region. However, if I ever return, I'd probably try and stay at Moonlit Suites Hotel. It's great value for money, very quiet and comfortable in all aspects....highly recommended.

I loved my stay at Moonlit Suites! The apartments are finished to a very high standard, they're very new and extremely clean. I had a problem with a noisy neighbour, the team and security dealt with it and when that didn't work they moved me to another room - highly appreciative of the response. Really nice area too, further out of the old quarter but loads around and is a nice break from the busy centre.

If I was being picky - could do with another bin in the kitchen area of the studio and washing up liquid/dish cloths

Very happy I chose to stay here. A nice quiet area but also so close to things.Near the lake, so you have both city and nature. My room was so comfortable, clean and cozy. Very modern and new, with a nice bathroom The staff are friendly. And lots to do nearby. There's a great coffee shop Tapie and yoga centre zenith and a place to get a massage Amara just around the corner. It's 10 mins in a grab to the old quarter. There's a public swimming pool nearby and I rented a bicycle. Sol bistro had great pizza and wine. A Vietnamese vegan buffet almost next door.

On booking it was advertised as having a balcony, which I imagined something you could sit outside on.. but it was more of a sliding door with a rail in front. So I found that a bit misleading.

I love how comfortable and quiet the room is. The convenience of having a washing machine and also to be able to cook light meals. So far staff are accomodating and polite. I have extended my stay and will be staying longer.

The water shower drains very slowly, causing it to overflow near the toilet bowl and mirror area. Also the internet sporadically lost connection anytime at night and sometimes its very slow.

Clean and cozy apartment, enough lighting, cleaning every 2 days, washing machine with dryer, a/c with heating function — it's very important, because it was cold and rainy in Hanoi:) Good location in quiet area

Weak internet, almost can't handle calls. Keep this in mind if you are a digital nomad and it's important for you to be at online meetings. It would be nice to add hand soap, dishwashing liquid and sponge
