The hotel room was spacious, clean, and beautifully presented. It had a relaxing, comfortable vibe that made it feel like a true retreat after a day out and was incredibly quiet. The location was perfect too—just far enough from the busiest areas to be peaceful, but still close enough to everything I needed. I felt completely safe walking around the neighborhood, even in the evenings. A special mention to Chris from the staff—he was absolutely fantastic, incredibly friendly, and went out of his way to be helpful throughout our stay. Thanks again for everything Chris!

If I had to pick something it would only be that there was no lunch or dinners available.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Oriental Palace! Chris went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. His communication was amazing from start to finish. He helped us with organising our booking (we are travelling with a 8, 6 and 1 year old) to helping us when we were trying to meet our organised tour. We would have missed our Halong bay tour if it weren't for Chris, thanks for coming to the rescue!!! He also organised a driver to pick us up late from the airport and made sure we got to the hotel safely. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was fabulous, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was also quiet. The kids loved swimming in the pool. It was easy to use the 'grab' app to get an uber to the Old Quarter and cost us $3-5 AUD depending on the time of day. It takes around 15 minutes to get to the Old Quarter depending on traffic. For breakfast there's a wide variety of delicious options and they all come with fruit and yoghurt. We also enjoyed walking around the streets, there's a few convenience stores down the road where we got ice creams and snacks. We were able to leave our luggage at the Oriental Palace while doing our Halong Bay tour so we only had to take overnight bags. We are excited to return to the Oriental Palace tomorrow and to continue exploring Hanoi. Thank you Chris for all your help!

Everything was fantastic!

Travelling with a 4 year old, I wanted a place that gave us space to relax in the room. Our room was amazing for our needs. The pool is great and has a brilliant shallow end where my son could touch. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about where to go. The room was clean and we were given fresh towels etc daily. The area is walkable to restaurants and a great playground at West Lake. A good pick for families.

The breakfast wasn't the best.

The rooms were fantastic, the breakfast was nice, however would have preferred if it was bigger. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only issue I had was with the shower it took some time for the water to warm up. It’s was excellent value for money would definitely recommend. I loved the Gym and swimming pool. The hospitality was amazing it had really nice vibe

Staff where more than 10 out of 10 Room was big and the room and in general all was very quite. No banging doors. No real street noise as the hotel is set back a bit. Lots of small bars etc very close. Pool was fine. Not hidden behind buildings so lots of sun. Gym was better than most hotel gyms too. All in all . Great. Many thanks to the staff

Air con in communal areas could be better

Everything was perfect. Exactly like the photos, good location, only 13 minutes to old quarters without the craziness. Nice restaurants nearby and the lake. The room was large, and the bed was comfortable. Verry clean and good breakfast and the staff were verry nice and helpfull i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing.

I stayed at this property for five days. The housekeeping staff was very humble and they cleaned the room very good. At last day I met a guy named Chris. He help us book the cab. He was very polite and very hospitable. Just like a professional he just went an extra mile to give all the services, thanks a lot to Chris.

It’s located approximately 5.3 km away from the action of the old quarter ,but again no issues as you download the grab app and makes life easy

The room was very spacious. Big bed and bathtub. Nice swimming pool and the staff were friendly. Chris the receptionist was super helpful. It’s very easy to take a crab car in Hanoi, the hotel is a 7 min ride from old quarter

So good to have the pool! The staff are fabulous and so is the location - many great restaurants and cafes close by and take a walk around the gorgeous lake.
