Bkfast and afternoon tea everyday was a delight special mention to Evelyn, Grace, Thau and of course Rum , actually everyone was very nice, sorry for not remembering everyone’s name. Upon entering the front glass doors you’ll be greeted with a smile and welcome drinks and treats, the lobby decors and art works are all lovely and very nicely curated….like you’re in a gallery .Walking distance to places we visited and restaurants we wanted to try, however because it was very warm outside we utilized grab all the time too. We also get assisted to cross the street at times by the doorman I think or the guard. We had free cold drinks in our room’s refrigerator upon checked in and free water for coffee or tea, toiletries provided and the body soap and shampoo smells nice , good size tub too which I enjoyed soaking everyday…I bought some bath bombs at one of HCM mall Everything was really nice…and oh the rooftop pool and bar and city views are very nice too.

Entrance lobby must smell more inviting like a signature scent that bigger fancy hotels have , but it’s just me being particular on the first impression when I come in a hotel - the scent makes me smile and happy - they had some scent going on but not strong enough kinda like a “wow factor” it’s really nice here and smells pretty Overall we enjoyed our stay, will recommend to everyone I know who wants to visit Ho Chi Minh City PS: and oh! Best PhO ever served during bkfast - no need to go anywhere for pho :)

Unfortunately the 2nd day into our stay we got back to our room and there was a letter stating that because the towels were so soiled we would be charged. I challenged this and was shown ‘photographic evidence’. In no way were these our towels. On investigation it was deemed there had been a mistake and it was another room. However it sort of put a dampener on things. We felt slighted - the Reception staff were very apologetic and they did bring cake to the room and offered a taxi back to the airport but we already had this booked and really the damage was done. They really needed to see the bigger picture.

When you walk into the hotel, it can smell the fragrance is really nice to let your spirit feel warm and comfortable. It’s very nice on reception when you check-in even you arrive earlier in the morning, they prepared the towel and juice & snak and help to arrange to store your luggage. They will accompany to guide you the way when you check-in into your room. The Khaya double room environment and its color is warm and sweet. It’s very clean and confortable. You can see the green with red flower outside the window to feel colorful. It has afternoon tea dessert is also good to let you take a break and enjoy your time. The breakfast service is very much satisfactory even you order special food forgot to take or remind to fill up cheese but did not to take or just wait boil water for coffee machine but did not wait to take, the hotel staffs’ team always remember to give to you on unexpectedly. There is no doubt Silverland May Hotel will be the best choice for my next trip.

Immaculate presentation of the entire building from the moment you walk in to the roof top pool, amazingly friendly and helpful staff catered to your every need! Nothings was ever too much trouble. Front of house helped us with everything we needed truly went above and beyond. Every staff member was kind, professional and helpful. We even added an additional night due to the service we received. We cannot thank and recommend Silverland May enough 10/10 we will return! Thank you!!!!!

Great location and great hotel and delicious food both breakfast and hightea and variations of meals. staff were very friendly. Shout out to Harry on the rooftop pool, Thao at breakfast and hightea and reception and stand out employee for us was Penny what a legend. Top character he made the stay so funny. will recommend this hotel to many as it was also a recommendation from a fellow Qantas employee.

not much. being fussy bed was a little hard and pillows not the best. however still slept. our shower leaked water on the floor but then we were offered to change rooms and the problem was fixed.

Everything was really smooth, room was spacious, location is excellent, staff were very kind and helpful, gym was not too bad, the pool was outstanding and it's a shame that we only discovered it on our last day. All in all, we would definitely recommend this others to other couples visiting Saigon!

The only thing that could be improved were the elevators, there were only two of them and we found ourselves waiting for the elevator quite a few times, though again it's relatively minor. Everything else was smooth. Recommended!

The room is clean and comfortable. The staffs are good and welcome.

The varieties of food should be more and change the menu everyday.

This hotel is excellent in terms of service, location and amenities. It’s located in district 1, walking distance to all the must-see locations in HCMC. The breakfast has a combination of Western and Asian dishes, and the afternoon tea, free of charge is an extra added bonus. The best part however, is the pool on the 14th floor, which is magical! The poolbar that goes along with it is excellent! Service is great, cocktails are really really good at a fair price. Quy was our waiter for 2 evenings in a row, and he is really friendly and correct. We start our trip in Vietnam in this hotel, and after travelling for 2 weeks all over the country, we’re coming back to this hotel before flying home. Totally recommend!

The staff were all very nice and helpful - from reception to concierge to bell boy etc. Always attending to our needs and making sure that we were ok and offering suggestions on places to go etc. (and I did not feel that they were recommending the place to make a commission). The location was excellent as it is in a side street not far from the main street and there are so many shops nearby to eat, have a nice massage, pedicure, manicure, shop etc. The hotel massage and spa was also very good and very affordable with excellent staff. LOVE the rooftop bar and swimming pool! 20 out of 10! We had the afternoon tea in the Level 1 restaurant almost every day we were there (for a week) and it was a different menu each day which was impressive and the staff there were excellent as well. The entertainment (when it was on) was very relaxing too. Lobby and restaurants also nicely decorated and cosy. A small selection of soft drinks in the mini-bar were free for our stay (not refilled except water which we got two a day). Smart TV so we could watch Netflix, YouTube etc.

Design of the bathtub in the bathroom not the best as the sides are not sealed (against the wall) and water seeps through causing a damp smell at times. Bath towels could be a bit larger.

We stayed 5th October. It was our finally night in Vietnam (after a 3 week trip), so wanted to finish our trip of in some style. This stunning hotel did not disappoint. From arrival you knew that your were somewhere very special. The front and entrance were beautiful. I had read some reviews about the staff not being ready....... Our experience was the opposite., as the staff were amazing from the moment we arrived in the taxi. The rooms are a very good size with this modern shabby chic style. The balcony was a great size. We arrive in the evening and had a great view of the lit up skyline. When booking, we where sold by the pool area, however in real ife it is even better. Great chilled area, a really goofld size and the hammocks (with real sand) was a wow moment. 5he pool area lit up in the evening was very special. We staying in Ho Chin Minh and the start of our trip in deferent area. This was very much the affluent part of the city, which felt very different from our first stay. It I fun to see and there are very different options for place to drink and eat, very close to the hotel. It felt like we were miles away from it all (it being so different), although you really area not. We discovered the next morning how close we were to everything and it is very much walking distance. After a 20min walk we ended up seeing our hotel from our first night. So you get the best of both worlds here. You get to new, modern affluent area, but with a short walk, you are back in the (what I would call) the more authentic part of the city. Sadly we missed the included afternoon tea, as we had to get a grab back to the airport. Highly recommended by us and if you want bit of treat, then you won't be disappointed.

The bath was very welcome, but we were a little disappointed by the shower. It worked fine and was warm. We had just gotten so used (spoilt) by these big rain shower heads in Vietnam accommodation, this felt a tiny let down for such a special hotel. This did not negatively effect our stay and we still recommend the hotel.
