Beautiful hotel, well designed (so that pool, beach, restaurants etc are all within a short walk), that never felt too crowded. Food was excellent, with breakfast in the Asian restaurant so good we never actually tried either of the other places for breakfast. They do all the big things brilliantly, but little touches like cold flannels at the pool, preparing the sun loungers, unlimited bottled water etc just made the whole experience perfect. Special mention for all the staff - most welcoming I have ever experienced. Nothing was too much trouble, they were always available to assist (including summoning the lift every time we crossed reception!), and were utterly friendly, respectful and courteous. We were sad to leave and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in this part of Vietnam.

I just describe the hotel with 1 word “WAW”. This is a japan chain , the personal is so friendly that I cannot find a words to explain that . Not like in Vietnam, but like in Japan, they are ready to help you and to fulfill your wishes everywhere not just in reception. Hotel has 3 restaurants, all management is from Japan, including chef in the kitchen. You can enjoy Japan breakfast, Vietnam breakfast and on the beach European one. The have incredibly lovely japanische Sauna onsen. The beach is clean and amazing. I was crying to leave it.

Grandvrio Ocean is one of the best hotels we've visited, although the list is long. Our room is spacious, the wall facing the terrace is glass. The terrace is big. The bathroom is wonderful. The bed is huge, the mattress is top quality, the bed linen is of high quality and is updated every day. The cleanliness is perfect. All buildings, the park, the pool are elegantly designed and spotlessly clean. The beach is also constantly kept clean. The food is delicious. The staff made us feel like we were princes. Thanks to Anh, who kept an eye on us! Thank you to Helen/Elena, who handled every situation flexibly! We had a great week!

The service was wonderful! They all make you feel so valued and are willing to help you at any time! The location is very convenient for those that want to be near Danang and Hoi An as the resort is located in the meddle of both with access to a taxi at any time. The breakfast buffet and the food in general was delightful. Also had the best massage ever in their spa!! We would definetely return here!

It's right on the beach. Near the town and there is a shuttle bus hourly. It's so clean and the food is great. To say the staff went the extra mile; they even rushed to call the elevator when they saw me heading that way. Always there to greet you in the morning. The gardener; cooks; servers always greeted you. 5 stars. Hope to go there again.

This is a great resort for staying at the beach near Da Nang. Sadly, it was raining nearly non-stop when I spent two nights there over the past weekend due to a tropical storm front. So the beach was closed and outdoor activities in the surrounding area where not possible. But, I still had a very comfortable stay. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet in the large Asian restaurant (there are three different restaurants on the property) was simply amazing in its wide-ranging selection of foods (Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Western) and the quality of what was being offered. For the other meals, the food and beverage prices are quite reasonable and an impressive wine list was also available. I had a balcony room that was very roomy and comfortable. The bed and pillows were just soft enough for me and the bath tub was great too. There was a Japanese bath as part of the spa that offered a sauna and a small cold pool as well as a much larger hot pool. The landscaping of the property was very nicely done, with lots of bamboo in use. A handy feature was that two washing machines and two dryers are available to use for a small fee. That was very convenient for me since I am traveling in Vietnam for a month and also much less expensive than sending items to an outside laundry service. Overall, this resort offers a very reasonable stay on the beach, compared to the other properties along that part of the coast. It is definitely a good value for a high-end stay!

The music in some of the restaurants was a bit annoying, English language pop songs by the pool, elevator music in the main restaurant. I would think that more traditional Vietnamese music would create a more authentic mood. The day I checked out, there was a female musician playing a very interesting Vietnamese string instrument that I had never seen before. The tunes she played were beautiful- more of that!

Everything was way above our expectations. The breakfast was amazing. So much to choose from. I left shirts that I'd had made at,a restaurant in An Bang Beach. May went out of her way to firstly locate the shirts and then arrange for us to collect the next day. We had a most wonderful stay Sad to leave

If you are hungry in tge evening, don't order the BBQ Spare Ribs. Not enough to feed a young child let along an adult
