The architecture of the building has a vintage-natural style and we loved it. It is not a village house, nor a villa in the village, it is right in the middle. We rented a motorbike from the hotel, the price was reasonable, the same as the market price. We also bought our return ticket to Hanoi from the hotel. They helped with these matters. The lady at the reception, I think her name might be "Ha". She is the sweetest person we met in Vietnam. I hope you always stay happy and energetic. It was a pleasure to meet you. 💐 ps. don’t forget to say hello to the cat.. :)

There is a garden behind the hotel, so be prepared for mosquitoes. We wanted to find some peace on the balcony in the evening, but we still kept itching our legs. Make sure you have some mosquito repellent spray with you. The issue I didn’t like is not specific to this hotel, it has become a habit in Vietnam in general… When you want to pay with a credit card, they ask you for an additional fee of 2.5%-3% in order not to pay the “commission” fee. Look, dear friends, we, the guests/tourists, shouldn’t have to pay the commission that you have to pay as a result of your agreement with your bank. It’s not fair for you to put this on us 🤷🏻‍♂️

What's not to like! Little Tam Coc is a beautiful place to stay. Close by the lake, you can walk easily into the town and enjoy the amenities. Shops, restaurants, café & spa. You can also use bicycles or scooters to explore the wider area. There is a notice board with details about all the local attractions and how to get there. We received a warm welcome from Ha even though it was late at night/early hours. She welcomed us in, and in the morning, she gave us some local tips and information. We took her advice and were not disappointed. In the morning, coffee and tea were available as well as cold tea throughout the day. We didn't try the breakfast but the food looked amazing! The rooms were spacious and clean. Little Tam Coc has a gorgeous feel to it, welcoming and relaxing. A perfect place to stay.

The only thing we didn't like is that we couldn't stay for longer! We will definitely be back.

LittleTamCoc is a little Biden gem in the Tam Coc, which is in general pretty generic (not nice) touristic village. (gateway to stunning Tam Coc river) One of few nicely designed accommodations here, rooms and building itself reflected traditional brickwork and house design. Courtyard’s cute and full of greenery. Property stands out not shinning out.. no flickering neons, signs.. just earthly calm wibe. Location is superb for staying in touch of all natural wonders around and just steps (10min. walk) from the centre of the village, yet it’s already calm and not crowded! Rooms are spacious, clean, nicely dressed. Beds comfortable! The runner of the business is active, lively and smiling lady. Keen to help and flexible to arrange whatever is needed.

Absolutely stunning room and view, very unique and beautiful. 5 minute walk from street food and restaurants but also a little away from it all so you have a rural garden feel to the villa. The garden is really pretty and we were even joined by a kitten we named Olive, who the owners had been feeding. Of course you don’t have to stay with olive but we always wanted her in our room with us as it made us feel a little more at home and she’s so cute. The owners were very kind and left us fresh fruit and even drove us to our bus pick up spot on the night we left (and didn’t want payment!). There are plenty of fans and aircon in the room to keep cool when it’s hot. Shower is very nice.

Only thing was since it’s in the mountains area/near fresh water, there are a lot of mosquitos, and they can get through the cracks of the doors since the doors are handmade and artisan. I would suggest bringing anti mosquito incense or something to keep them away from biting you during the night.

Spacious rooms! Great location—not too far from conveniences, but also not in the middle of a busy or noisy area. The breakfast everyday was good. Ms. Ha was a great host as well. Lots of eateries close by, and a great massage spa walking distance also.

There was a mixup in our booking of multiple rooms—we didn’t get the specific room we wanted, but it was a minor inconvenience that they resolved. There are cats in this property, and they sometimes like to go into the rooms. Be aware if you are allergic.

We were greeted with such friendly staff and owner, they made the whole trip so memorable. Even packed banhmi’s when we had to checkout early before breakfast. I have traveled so many countries, but the hospitality here is incomparable.

We loved this hotel! You could tell that the person who designed it paid attention to every detail — it was aesthetically beautiful. The location is perfect: close to everything in Tam Coc but far enough from the noisy center. They offer laundry service at a reasonable price, which was super helpful. On our last day, we forgot a Kindle and they were kind enough to bring it to the bus stop where we were leaving from. We would definitely come back!

We found Little Tam Coco Villa perfect. It was the largest room we’ve had in Vietnam. The bed was comfortable, lots of hot water and great pressure in the shower. I loved the French doors opening onto an outside sitting area. The internet was strong in our room. It took approx 10min to walk into town where there are a lot of dinning options. Our room was quiet and the bathroom had amenities like toothbrush , razor etc. Also there are bicycles and scooters available to rent. Our breakfast was delicious and we had several options from western to Asian to choose from. However the best part of our stay was Ha, who seamed to be receptionist, manager and wait staff. She was always cheerful, helpful, gave us honest advice and truely wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you want something that isn’t the usual boring hotel room.

We asked the owner of the hotel to organise transport from Hanoi to Little TamCoc Villa. The information we received by “WhatsApp” was unclear. We asked to be picked up at a set time and were told a driver would pick us up 40mins before the requested time. We changed the time (in advance) but received no confirmation or new pick up time. What we were not told was we were being driven to a bus that drove us halfway to the hotel and then we changed into another bus. We later realised the 40min time difference was the time it takes to get to the first bus from our hotel. All of the transport was comfortable, but the journey confusing as we thought we were just getting a driver. The experience was fine but the owner might want to warn his next customers of the details.

We booked the king room with mountain view and it was excellent value - beautiful views, cute balcony and comfortable bed. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the location was a quick 10 min walk into town for an abundance of restaurants. Free bikes to explore the area.

Just a note there are no elevators if you need them

The staff. Ha is the most sweet and wonderful hostess. She was very helpful and friendly. The room is big and the bed is very comfy. The location is perfect. Bikes in good condition Breakfast was good too, but could have been better having more choices.

I'm not very picky, but the room was a bit dirty. You have hot water for a couple of minutes, forget getting a long hot shower. Avoid booking with the tour company they use. "The long travel" is the worst company tour in Tam Coc. Spend more money and get a proper tour somewhere else. They should get a better company to work with them
