Good value, great location next to the train station, also right across from where HK express bus stops, and also a quiet area compared to the very touristy Tam Coc area, but still with a couple of different places to eat. The owner was very friendly and helpful, helped us book a great day tour and a super easy cheap scooter rental. Nice breakfast each morning freshly cooked with a choice of drinks allthough a bit on the small side. Room was big and clean with air con and a big fan which worked pretty well as it was very hot otherwise. Shower was decent but the water was not that cold for a refreshing shower after sweating all day in 40 degrees.

Toilet blocked easily, shower water wasnt very cold, but these were very small issues that didn't really spoil the stay. The only other thing we didnt like so much is that the family live in the downstairs lobby of one of the buildings and they are there all day every day and see you every time you leave or arrive. They were friendly but it did make us feel a bit observed and like we were being watched. These again are only small issues if we have to mention anything. Overall the stay was great and we felt welcomed and would happily stay there again. Its good value.

We arrived on a sleeper bus from Hoi An at 3am. Our bus dropped us right outside and we called our host at Central Hotel who let us in. It’s also just outside the train station. She helped us carry (very heavy) luggage up the stairs. Bed was comfy, room very clean and hosts very accommodating and helpful. Room had air con and fan. We slept very well. We ate breakfast at the Hotel which was priced very reasonably and a lot of nice vegetarian options. For a nights stay, drinks and breakfast for two we paid £13. Very welcoming and lovely!

No lift, but otherwise perfect!

We stayed here for 2 nights before an evening train. It was a 2 minute walk from the station and there are plenty of places to eat on the doorstep. It was clean, comfortable and the host was excellent. She was so helpful and thoughtful and our stay included breakfast.We walked to the town in 15 mins and found the area very friendly. The children love to practice their English with travellers and while we were waiting for the train there were so many eager youngsters who have been brought by parents who will come and ask to talk to you for a while.

For the money you pay no complaints at all.

The Owner was very nice. I wrote them beforehand that I am arriving by train in the night and she let me in and showed me directly to my room without doing the check-in stuff, which we did after breakfast then. The Hotel is in eyesight across the street from the train station and the Bed was soooo comfortable! Maybe the best I had so far in Vietnam as they are usually too hard for me. The breakfast was a very delicious pancake and coffee.

Consider that there are rooms without window. I had one with a window to the stairs inside, covered with curtains of course. For me it was totally fine, but if you want to stay longer ir prefer natural light in the morning you should make that clear in the booking

Very nice family-run hotel. Our allocated room was on Level 4 of the Ninh Binh Central Hotel but access was only by stairs (no elevator), so we were offered a room on Level 2 of their also-owned hotel a couple of doors away on the same street. We were provided nice breakfasts each day, included in the price. Location about 100m from the Ninh Binh Railway Station was extremely convenient for our rail journey to Dong Hoi.

Neither hotel had an elevator, so access to rooms could be a problem for those with young children, medical issues, etc.

We used this hotel to spend a few hours showering and changing before taking the overnight train to Hue. The room was pristinely clean and spacious. Enjoyed the hot shower and comfy beds for a quick nap. The manager was exceedingly kind a welcoming. We also really enjoyed our meal at the hotel. Just across the street from the train station--could not have been a better location.

No elevator--we were ok and the manager was super kind and helped us with our bags but something to be aware of if you have mobility issues.

We rented the room for the afternoon and evening until we got on our late night train to Hue the first week in July. The hotel's location worked perfectly for us because it was a very quick walk to the train station. Before our train we relaxed in the room with the great wifi and AC, and took showers in the very clean bathroom. Toiletries provided. We enjoyed walking around and exploring the neighborhood which was nicer than we were expecting. Beautiful new sidewalks are being installed in the neighborhood which will make it look even nicer. There is an artisan furniture area which was interesting to look at, and shops and restaurants nearby. You can even eat at the hotel. This hotel was great value for the money and perfect if you want to be close to the train station. Owners were very nice. The owner gave us water as we checked out and were on our way to the train station.

We booked this hotel because we had a late train from Ninh Binh to Hue and we were cycling so wanted to freshen up and rest before the overnight train. We had a problem getting our bicycles onto the train that evening, encountered a rather rude Vietnam Railway employee, and were stressed out about having to travel without our bikes. They were going to arrive in Hue 2 days later. The hotel owner ( her name is Dung pronounced Zoom) swiftly came up with a solution and arranged for them to go on a bus that was going to Hue and picked passengers up at her hotel. She said the bikes would arrive in Hue before us and told us where to pick them up. She solved our problem and we were able to retrieve our bicycles after getting off the train the following morning. We were so grateful. The hotel is immaculately clean, has a restaurant, and it’s a few steps away from the train station. The room had air conditioning and a nice bathroom.

Our room for the day had no outside windows but we didn’t care since we were only there to take a shower. if this is important to you, just ask for a room with an outside window Otherwise I only have great things to say. if you need a place close to the station or just to freshen up before a bus ride or train ride, this is affordable and has an extremely helpful owner.

This was the perfect little hotel for what we needed after getting off a sleeper bus. Check in staff were so helpful and they helped us organise our trip to all of the ninth binh hot spots. The beds were also super comfy, room was spacious and bathroom was really nice.

Nothing negative to say about the actual hotel but we didn’t realise the location was a little bit out of the main town where everything happens.

Amazing stay, host was very accommodating to our 5am check in and even let us leave our bags after check out so we could comfortably explore the town before leaving. Rooms were spacious, clean, and had full amenities. They were able to help us with laundry and even gave us good local recommendations for food and activities.
