I liked the location with a short walk to the private beach. Swimming was nice, but that depends on the time of the year also, no rubbish on the beach as the strong winds had not hit the west side of the island yet. The night time seafood set up on the beach was excellent for dinner. The bungalows are dated quite old. Bed firm but comfortable. House keeping friendly and efficiant. The gardens are excellent. Overall a nice place to stay. Some semi loud bass music from a bar 2 properties away which was annoying and so not fair to the other businesses near by, but always finished by 11pm so no big drama. Motor scooter rental easy and normal rate. Staff are friendly and prompt if any questions. I would stay again next time im back at phu quoc.

Some loud guests staying, "domestic tourism". Talking loud, kids yelling early in the mornings seems to be the trend where ever you go in vietnam no consideration for other guests.

Beautiful bunglaws,had a private beach kinda location,even had a restaurant beautiful place ,it was peaceful calm and beautiful sunset to admire.

The resort is located directly on the beach, however the beach is a little narrow, but that's not the resort's fault. On the other hand there is a few steps to the main road where you can find a lot of shops and restaurants. The bungalows are very spacious, and the beds very comfortable. In this place we had the most diverse breakfast from the all places that we visited during our 4-weeks trip through Vietnam. You can eat here also lunch or dinner in very reasonable prices (in the city center the prices are higher). The staff was very friendly and helpful, they made this place really great. We rented also motorbikes in very good price (200k VND/day).

Only 2 things were in minus: 1. The beach in the resort is very small - there is a few sunbeds, but they are standing very close to each other, so you can feel the other guest's breathing. 2. This relates to the first point - the photos on Booking.com are really well done and don't show exactly how the resort looks like. Even the photos show the truth, but don't show that the main space for guests in beach area is really small. Except this 2 things everything was perfect :) The perfect place for few days of relax on the beach.

Fantastic Boutique seaside resort hotel. We had the family bungalow with garden view (two queen beds) for nine nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They boys at the restaurant were fun, while providing good friendly service. The beds were comfortable, clean linen and comfortable pillows. The bar fridge was cold and roomy enough for drinks, fruit etc, and had a freezer section where we could make our own ice with our travel ice packs. Kettle, cups provided and coffee and tea were replenished daily in our room. There were two little glasses in the bathroom, but we wanted tall ones to have GT in, so the restaurant leant us two for our entire stay. The cupboard was big enough to put one of our large suitcases in and had four shelves down one side for storing backpacks etc. The little table and chairs came in handy too. Rooms were cleaned every day and we were provided with fresh towels daily as well. Bathroom was basic, but had plenty of water pressure and hot water. Shampoo and body wash is provided as well as a hair dryer. The aircon is quiet and worked very well. The balcony is lovely to sit out on and it had three chairs and a little table. We loved our little cottage! We were about half way between the 3 story hotel and they beach. One minute walk to the restaurant and the beach. The breakfast was much better than we expected after reading reviews on here. We were very happy with the breakfast. The kitchen will make you fresh eggs or omelets on request and the breakfast buffet was replenished regularly. Always plenty of fresh bread and fruit as well as a selection of Pho, cereals, eggs, always a stew of some kind (which was lovely), always fresh stir fried veggies and often Vietnamese rice paper spring rolls, or some other wrapped meat. Coffee, tea and a diluted juice or two were always available. It was much more than a two star resort would offer. There were enough beach sun beds, but more umbrellas would benefit the resort. lovely beach.

It is a 2 star resort, it offers WAY MORE than 2 star. Don't book it if you expect 4 star!

I really loved my stay at Nhat Lan Resort. From the moment I arrived the staff were extremely friendly, with the owner re-opening the kitchen to cook me a meal after I arrived late due to my flight being delayed. They were lovely throughout my stay and helped me with all my requests. The room was extremely comfortable and had all the facilities I needed. Each bungalow has a little deck, and the hotel has a really nice section of seats looking over the beach. Speaking of the beach, it was beautiful! I swam in it every day, and it was clean and the water was beautifully warm. It also had quite a nice pool, which was great for swimming in throughout the evening. The hotel was also in a great location - a short distance from a main street that had cafes, restaurants, a tourist booking company and supermarket. The hotel, however, was quiet and I really enjoyed hanging there in evenings listening to the waves. I would 100% go back!

I loved the whole place

We had 17-18 days of beautiful days. The breakfast was very tasty, with choices of both food and drinks, including various local fruits / mango, pineapple, watermelon, bananas / The whole team of the hotel complex: managers and staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel management spoke English and it was easy to communicate with them, including the staff who were less proficient in the language. We studied English and Vietnamese together. The hotel complex consists of N-number of bungalows located on the coast or nearby / with a view of the garden/. The area is very peaceful, with beautiful garden, with possibility to use the sun beds on the beach in front of the resort, the swings and the restaurant. The restaurant works all the time of the day and the evening. I recommend the restaurant, the food they offer is very tasty at a very good price. And while you eat/ no matter what time/ you enjoy the ocean....the views at sunset take your breath away. The ocean is very calm, the water is clean and the bottom is entirely made of sand. The depth of the ocean is not great and you can swim and enjoy. The beach and the depth of the water are extremely suitable even for small children. The hotel complex also has a swimming pool located opposite the reception, in case you want to swim in fresh water. We fell in love with this place from the moment we arrived and were sad to leave.

Close to the own beach. Friendly staff. Can rent a bike on sight for a resonable price. We didn't use it but they make dinner on the brach which has nice athmosphere and looked also nice. Is probably the best place to watch te sunset.

The breakfast could have more vegetables and I tell this as a meat eater. For vegetarians there are not too many options. We stayed close to the neighbour on the beach which was beautiful but the neighbour (Vida Loca) played quite loud music which wasn't our taste. But on the upside they stopped at 10pm so to get a good rest was possible.

Very good value for money. The resort has a private beach, which was amazing and just steps from our bungalow. The restaurant is nearby, where we often ordered smoothies. There was an amazing view of the palm trees on the way to our bungalow. The beds were comfortable, and the room was spacious. The location is convenient—close to the main street with restaurants, yet far enough from the noise and right next to the beach. There is also swimming pool and laundry service. Highly recommend for those who want to relax.

Breakfast had a good variety right after 7:00, but later on, there wasn’t much left to choose from.

The bungalows are set in a beautifully maintained garden. Every day you could watch a sunset from the terrace or from the nearby beach.The view is simply stunning.You will wake up to the awesome sight of the calming sea ,as well as the sound of chirping birds. We received two water bottles , tea and coffee every day ; our towels were also changed regularly. There is a small pool which is a nice bonus.The staff are very nice and friendly.

Beautify located, right on the beach! The bungalows were cleaned and comfortable, the staff was really helpful and friendly! The venue itself was really well maintained, full of greenery! The breakfasts were really good, coffee was delicious! Each evening they were opening a restaurant on the beach and preparing sea food from the barbecue. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!
