This hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly accomodating & lovely, and always welcomed you with a friendly smile. We had the pool from our room, which was incredible! We were worried it would be too shallow, but it was roughly half a metre deep which was perfect to just lounge & soak in with the comfort of your room right there! The main pool & beach offered beautiful views & the swim up bar was an awesome addition. The views from the pool / beach during sunset were gorgeous also. We really enjoyed our stay here - the breakfast was good (although the coffee could be improved).

It’s not walking distance to anything, the main town is about a 10/15 minute grab away. We didn’t mind that, and knew that that was the case. But I imagine for some, it can be annoying. The taxi stand within the hotel often forgot that we wanted to pay using our AMEX so we were asked time & time again if we needed a grab & that they could do it for us, even though they didn’t accept our card. Would have been happy to pay them instead, if they could accept AMEX. After 6 days it did get repetitive explaining the same story.

Fabulous room, large and loved the bathroom walls. Pool/pool bar was amazing, lobby area very inviting and breakfast left us spoilt for choice. Private beach a bonus

Food and beverage a tad overpriced. Not convenient to downtown and room service very slow (over an hour for toasted sandwich!!)

Staff nice and friendly also helpful got airport transfer using shuttle bus for free private beach and the pool was so nice view from room excellent really enjoy all the facilities

airconditioning maybe a bit problem ask the staff to fix and well work with 17 degrees only a bit isolate so need to put extra lamp

We loved everything about our stay here. The staff are amazing and friendly nothing was to much. The location was perfect away from the busy parts but close enough to get to grab was easy to order and never more than a few mins wait. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever experienced so many options for everyone. The rooms are clean and the balcony is huge the pool is good. If we ever come back I would stay here again.

The Pool is amazing! The breakfast is great too. The property is huge and worth spending ample amounts of time at. Great views. Had a delightful stay at Sol by Melia Phu Quoc. 100% worth it. Recommend it

The location could've been a bit better as the main attractions of Vin etc are towards the north of Phu Quoc. But not a problem at all since they're 30-40 mins at most by car, Definitely not a downside but it could've been closer to the bigger attractions.

The pool is beautiful, clean and plenty of available choices for shade or suntanning The beach area was relaxing too.with lazy boys and permanent wooden umbrellas dotting the beach. Beach clean. Though there was material and plastic in the water on a few days . Blown in The room was great. Pool and ocean view. Spacious . Large container of fresh water to use. I never said it was my birthday, however when I came back to my room from being out for the day a slice a cake & candles was left. Lovely touch.

My room wasn't served until really late one day and on an other day not serviced at all. Which was disappointing. The bathroom/ bins does need to be done daily. No milk of any type left in the room if you like milk with tea. I wasn't allowed to take a glass up to my room from the breakfast room.

It's a nice property, well kept with very nice friendly and professional staff. Only the kids club is not very suitable for young kids aged above 5-6 years... This service could be improved a lot.

The credit cards "Safety" deposits policy (for hypothetical/future, services/ expenses) that are deducted from your card instead of just taking an inprint of your card and charging you the ACTUAL amount of the services that you have used. After 2 month i am still waiting for the refund of the "safety" deposit. My card that i have used for the booking didn't work at check in, but the total amount of my stay was deducted from it weeks before, had to pay again with another card... This amount was credited back to my account around 6 weeks later, but i lost 40$ in service charges!

Loved spaciousness, and facilities we upgraded to the junior suite to be closer to the pool & beach. gym facility, buffet breakfast was definitely fantastic. Quick refund on the bond--unlike Australia. Free airport shuttle bus. They were quick to come and fix issues. But did expect better considering what we paid to upgrade. But all in all would stay here again.

Had to wait 45min after we were due to check in because we upgraded. The rooms are not cleaned until we chose it. So it didnt feel like a deep clean. Grabbed the shower head to tilt it and my hand came away with dust. Exhaust fans in shower filled with dust. TV kept blurring so we couldnt order room service. They ended up changing it completely. Bed was dipped on one side and too soft. Expect much better considering this is their best vip room. Feedback to consider Otherwise they were quick to fix whatever was needed.

great location and facilities. beautiful beach. lovely friendly staff, great room and comfy bed. when asked for anything, they would help with anything.

Advertised as having an adult only pool which was not the case. Staff took a long time to take orders, often on their phone or hiding from site. Be careful of the all inclusive package - it’s a very reduced menu but they don’t tell you that when purchasing. They also say you get 20% off the spa with the all inclusive but it was only off certain things. Breakfast was hard to get a table, cutlery or even plates at time. A lot of staff clearing tables but still struggled to keep up.
