I can easily say that staying in Laxsik was a highlight of our North Vietnam trip with a 5 star service and facilities! We choose winter time for travelling to Sapa and the Laxsik team made our stay so comfortable, warm and enjoyable. Heated mattress was ultra comfortable in combination with warm air conditioning and heating lamps in the bathroom. We always felt warm and cozy. It was such a relief to know we don't need to visit Sapa town every time we were hungry because their restaurant served delicious food. My personal favorites were Salmon Hot Pot and Pork spring rolls! At the end of our stay I decided to spoil myself and went for herbal bath and facial massage, YOU DON'T WANT TO SKIP THIS! They use traditional techniques and herbs from nearby villages. Their breakfast was perfectly combined between local and western style options so I got to enjoy traditional noodle soup but also veggie options with delicious local fruits. My honest recommendation for everyone searching for zen escape, perfect comfort and unbeatable location! Thank you Laxsik for making me fall in love with Vietnam even more!

Everything was even better then I expected!

Oh my goodness, where to start. I’ll begin with the staff. The staff treat everyone like royalty. They are immediately attentive from opening your doors upon arrival to handing you an umbrella (although I’m from Seattle, we don’t use umbrellas, only tourist! ;))to picking up and delivering laundry in such a timely manner. Once, I handed my dirty laundry from trekking at 5 pm and it was delivered clean and prompt st 9:30 pm. All staff members are a delight but especially Emmy and Sai in the restaurant. Kiem, Tam and Cau and another very sweet lady with a beautiful smile wearing braces. My apologies not knowing her name! As for comfort and quietness, this was the best sleep I have had on my 3 weeks traveling in Cambodia and Vietnam. A+ all the way. Booking tours, also a delightful experience. I highly recommend Zo to be your guide. Her English is wonderful and she is so informative. I enjoyed her so much I took a cooking class with her the next day. Now for the swimming pool and workout room. The equipment room is just perfect for me. Two bicycles, two treadmills and weights. The pool has such a stunning view above the gorgeous rice paddies. There is nothing I did not like!!

Breathtaking views of the mountains and rice fields. We had beautiful, clear and hot weather so could lay by the pool and be blessed with such beautiful views. The bungalow itself was very spacious, the bathroom spacious also with hot shower. Breakfast was different every day and delicious. Well kept grounds with a cute doggo running around to pet. We also liked how this lodge was out of town, which meant we didn’t hear the busy noises of Sapa town. Staff incredibly helpful, helping us book our transport back to Hà Nội and taxis.

Bed very hard and uncomfortable. Restaurant and massage prices very high. Workers were talking underneath our bungalow very early in the morning (before 7am) and woke us up on two occasions. Bathtub leaked all over bathroom floor.

Wonderful escape from the bustle of the main city of sapa. Quiet with amazing balcony views, huge plush bed and wonderful staff and service. Breakfast spread had good variety and the restaurant serves nice dinner as well. Would come back again!

Would have appreciated if the pool was heated during winter ❄️

Review of Laxsik Ecolodge, Sapa, Vietnam Laxsik Ecolodge in Sapa was one of, if not the most luxurious resorts we have ever stayed in. Nestled in a stunning location overlooking the rice fields, the setting was truly magical. The name “ecolodge” was perfectly fitting—unlike many establishments that use the term loosely. The rooms were thoughtfully designed with natural wood and stone materials, creating an authentic and eco-conscious experience. Even the small touches, like toothbrushes made from recycled materials, reinforced their commitment to sustainability, which made us very happy. One of the most memorable features was the bed. It looked big in the photos, but in real life, it was massive—the largest bed we’ve ever seen! This level of comfort was incredibly restorative, especially as we were not feeling well during our stay. We genuinely believe the tranquil environment and thoughtful amenities helped us recover more quickly. The food at the resort was decent, though not outstanding, especially considering the prices. It met our needs but didn’t exceed expectations. What truly set Laxsik Ecolodge apart was the exceptional staff. Their communication and willingness to help were remarkable. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, provided invaluable travel tips, and assisted with arranging activities. Overall, Laxsik Ecolodge is a place we’ll remember for its stunning location, eco-conscious ethos, and top-notch hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious yet grounded experience in Sapa.

The food was a bit underwhelming

I love how the property sets in a place where you can relax and everything you need for a wonderful stay is in there. It’s a must for family , the restaurant and their staff is amazing. We enjoyed eating all our family meal and breakfast buffet is amazing with different varieties everyday! The staff are amazing and efficient. Especially the front office team Tam, Hue ,Kiem ,Te and Kien. They make sure we are provided with all our needs and their recommendations are on point. Over all we enjoyed our stay and we can’t wait to come back for sure!

The spa needs work on their ambiance , lightning and mood and bed.

If you are thinking about how to spend your money in a good manner and you would like to take some rest from all the intensity and hustle which will follow you throughout the whole Vietnam, Laxsik is the right pick to do exactly that. Not only a really beautiful resort in the middle of the valley, but also very pro-active personal and nice services as spa or fireplace directly in your room will make you relaxed during your stay... 😊 P.s. we loved the cute dog which was at home at the resort!

If there is one thing you should still focus on, it is kitchen in your restaurant. Breakfast is very rich and really good! But to go there for dinner which will be very expensive in comparison with Sapa restaurants doesn't make much sense if the food won't be also exceptional, which it wasn't.

We came out of Hanoi city to this beautiful place. Its a 15 mins drive from Sa Pa town and we didnt mind the distance from it because the taxi to the town cost you only 200k. The ecolodge taxiservice was great, you can text him and he’ll pick you up anywhere. Not only was the view stunning from our room, the staff was amazing and the food was good.
