The staff was very nice and welcoming, and they speak good English. Food was good! View is nice when there is no fog. The cats and the dogs were very cute and friendly, a real plus :).

I don't recommend it in winter, it's very cold and there is very little heating. To be fair for the price we paid I expect not to be freezing in my room. We were unlucky with the view, in winter it's very foggy so you don't see much. They recommend July to September. Note it's a bit far from the center, you need to take a taxi (10-15mn for 8€ /200K VND).

Beautiful views over the whole valley below, lovely chalets and bungalows with superb beds and linen. Each with nice balcony. Plenty of power points and choice of lighting in the room. The staff very attentive but gave you your privacy too. The food was a fusion of Vietnamese and international and flavours were exceptional

Honestly could not find any faults

Our favorite stay in Vietnam by far! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Nam, Wang, and Bi, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression - my friend and I truly felt cared for throughout our entire stay. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking scenery that completely exceeded our expectations. Every corner of the property felt thoughtfully designed. Waking up to the panoramic mountain views each morning was an unforgettable experience. Another highlight was the food - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each meal offered by the hotel felt like a treat, adding even more joy to our time there. A huge thank you to the team at Eco Palms for such a memorable experience! We'll definitely be back :)

It’s a beautiful facility with view on the rice field which is a good point! The staff is nice and the chef is very talented because the dishes are very tasty. With that being said , it’s worth mentioning that the location is not the best as it’s outside of the city so the only way to go the city is to take a taxi as by foot is almost 2 hours. And it’s not possible to use bicycle because it’s a road that only goes up. So it’s something to have in mind as the price of taxi is more expensive than in Hanoi . As for the room, it’s nice set up with good view on the rice field but few things to mention. You need to wait few minutes for the hot water (7 minutes) and the light is not so bright in the bathroom. And because the rooms are build very close to the floor , you may encounter few insects. Considering that I did not stay long in the room but only to sleep , it did not bother me much but that’s something to keep in mind. To summarize , in my opinion the facility is nice to relax with all the good spots with great view and nice swimming pool. However, considering the location and the other points mentioned above , I am not sure that it’s worth the price which is more expensive compare to other facilities which may or may not have the same view but have better location and are cheaper. I will still go there for the food though.

We really liked the romantic and peaceful setting of the property and villas. The view over the valley is stunning, and when the weather is nice, it’s wonderful to relax on the balcony that each villa has. We also really enjoyed the excellent service from the team, the amazing food at the property—so much so that you don’t need to go anywhere else to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine—and the on-site spa. From day one, we felt very welcomed and well taken care of. I would recommend planning in advance what you’d like to do during your stay, as the location is quite far from Sapa, and the closest trail to Lao Chai didn’t impress us much. Since we didn’t plan anything specific ahead of time, our stay ended up being more of a relaxing retreat rather than an active one.

It is a natural stay, with the villa crafted from real wood and leaves, making it an attractive place not only for those seeking a nature retreat but also for insects. The noise from insects was something we experienced, but it didn’t spoil our stay. It’s simply a matter of having realistic expectations for a natural property like this. So, it wasn’t something we disliked, but rather something to keep in mind.

The room has a beautiful valley view with very natural decor. It feels very unique and refreshing to spend a few days here. The garden and main lobby are also great to spend time in if you don’t feel like going to the main Sapa town. Breakfast and food is very delicious, prepared with care. We were happy to spend some days completely here and not go out at all. The staff and in particular Nam were very attentive and fun to talk with. Would come back. Be sure to bring cash if you intend to use cash, taxis prefer cash and taxis are required to get into sapa town. There are no or limited exchange offices in the city

An absolutely amazing place! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived, Nam greeted us and we sat by the cosy fire with the kittens. The staff really were incredible, especially Nam, we will miss his smile! Our room was gorgeous, and so comfortable. I read reviews about bugs and I even contemplated cancelling our stay because of them!! But we didn’t see any bugs at all, and the room was very clean. The food was also amazing, we ate here for almost every meal and loved everything we ate! The hot cocktails and wine were delicious too. The weather was bad during our trip, but we loved the excuse to just pause and unwind. We had a massage which was lovely and relaxing. On our last day when the fog cleared up we took a private trek with a local guide which was so interesting and like a mini adventure for us. Truly an unforgettable few days for us, and would recommend to anyone looking to unwind in nature.

The hut we stayed in was beautifully decorated and build in the local building style. We loved the bath with the view over the rice fields. The food was amazing and the staff friendly. Definitely recommend staying here! If you would like a nice local experience; just walk up the road a few honderd meters and there will be local ladies sitting on a wall keen to show you their local village and walk you to Lao Chai and even make a lap. You just need to buy some of there handicrafts afterwards as a thank you. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Just be aware it’s a bit out of town (not walking distance to Sapa Village). It’s walking distance to restaurants (we liked Hien restaurant) and Lao Chai village. If you look for a bit more local & rural experience than this is the place.

What a magical and beautiful place. We stayed in December so it was cold and misty in sapa. The accommodation provided a heater and electric blanket which was great. The locations is not in the main area of sapa but it’s very easy to get a grab. Only about a 15min drive. They also can organise taxi services too and from the accommodation on request. We stayed in the bungalow with rice Terrance views. It was comfortable and clean. The staff on site were accommodating, warm and welcoming. Wifi was good. We had dinner at the restaurant and really enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend to stay here.

Beautifully maintained, quiet, and set in the valley with unobstructed views of the mountains and the fields. Bungalow was well maintained, very clean, hot water especially comforting in the midst of winter. The staff are exceptional - I was there during Tet, so there were only two persons to take care of everything, and yet they were always on hand to help, always friendly and resourceful, and the meals were fresh and delicious. The resident dog and kittens were also great to have around. Already look forward to coming back!
