The location of the boutique hotel is absolutely stunning. We had two connecting rooms (bungalow style) with direct view over the green rice terraced fields; it was amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful! If you stay there, be sure to book a day-tour with Tim, the owner: he gets you to parts of Pu Luong you would never get the chance to discover on your own and he provides lots of interesting information! The kitchen is also very good there. We had dinner every evening of our stay and could taste the hot pot, which is an equivalent to our fondue bourguignonne. I recommend every traveler to stay at the Boutique Garden in Pu Luong.

The breakfast hours (from 7-8.30) could be a bit more extended (for example, until 9.30).

Fantastic location and great view’s especially of the sunrise from the mountain view bungalows. The owners Linh and Tim were amazingly helpful, suggesting trips and arranging scooter hire so we could get around. Linh was always making sure we were happy and looked after us well. the pool was great especially after long walks up and down the hills, perfect to relax in and have a beer as the day closed. highly recommended!

As we’ve found through out Vietnam the beds were hard.

The views from our bungalow balcony were wonderful, and the room was comfortable. The owners were also lovely and arranged tours of the best locations in and around Pu Luong for us. They also arranged a very reasonably priced transfer to and from Hanoi. Pu Luong boutique garden has been a highlight of our time in Vietnam so far.

The food was fantastic, probably the best dinners I had in Vietnam, really! I highly recommend eating there. If you are staying overnight, get the rooms with the mountain (rice field) view, you will not be disappointed, it's worth the money. The location is great, and most importantly the staff and owners are very kind and welcoming, loved them.

The only aspect that was less desirable was that the bungalows were not fully sealed (main doors and toilet window) meaning that mosquitos and all kinds of critters could get into your room. To compensate, they have a bed mosquito net and the air con and ceiling fan did the job just right.. to keep your room cool.

The bungalows with mountain view are beautifully situated overlooking rice paddies. The restaurant is under the stilts of a traditional house. Food is freshly cooked from local products. The owners and staff are very kind, attentive to your needs and helpful in every way. I was there in December which is low season. The rice fields are harvested, meaning they're not green and it can be chilly. Anyway the area is still very beautiful. I went for a walk on my own, approximately 20 km. I went down the valley through lots of villages until Lang Tom and then up through the next valley. Just before the village Chom Ui there is a trail that will take you over a pass and back to the original valley and the resort, thus making a circuit so you don't have to backtrack.

The rooms are in a shared bungalow meaning that you can easily hear your neighbours.

The location on the rice fields is really unique. We could see the sunris right in front our terrace. The bungalows are really nice and spacious. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Staff was nice and helpful. Food was amazing.

The bungalow a are by definition in the middle of the nature: we happened to have a rat or squirrle leaving on the prof which was making quite some noise over night and there was a hole on the ceiling from which it could easily get into the room. I would have expected that to be considered at the moment of payment as it majorly affected our sleep…our stay was fantastic otherwise: we decided to prolong our stay of one night! Depending on the season the bungalow can be quite cold as it s not well isolated but I would consider that normal considering the context.

Pu Luong is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and pristine areas in Vietnam, and the Pu Luong Boutique Garden perfectly reflects the beauty and landscape of this reserve. The resort harmoniously blends with its surroundings, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, organizing fascinating excursions that allow guests to explore the area’s natural wonders. The on-site restaurant is a delight, serving delicious traditional dishes made with fresh ingredients sourced from the reserve. The accommodations are stunning, featuring beautiful rooms on stilts with breathtaking views of the rice terraces, reminiscent of traditional homes in the region. Overall, my stay at Pu Luong Boutique Garden was magical, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and serene getaway.

A word of caution for Western travelers: be mentally prepared for the presence of large spiders and insects. They are harmless, so there’s no need to worry; it's all part of the experience in this lush reserve where the rooms are nestled amid vibrant greenery!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this enchanting place, surrounded by nature and the tranquility it offers. The staff was incredibly kind, and Trang, the manager, truly went above and beyond with her helpful advice, engaging stories, and warm demeanor. Lihn organises amazing cooking classes and she is super kind. The rooms were spotless and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a hairdryer, linens, toothbrush, and comb. Additionally, there’s an option to rent a scooter or a bicycle, which makes exploring the area even easier. In summary, this place has everything you could possibly need! I initially planned to stay for two nights but ended up extending my stay to six. Highly recommended!

- Nice place, close to rice fields and in the nature - Swimming pool in the shadow - The receptionnist was really nice and apologised for the noise of the group, though it was not her fault.

- Restaurant was average and not a lot of choice. - We didn't have luck as a huge group of tourists was there and were quite noisy the last night - As you're in the nature, be prepared for mosquitoes bites. But overall, it was ok, we saw worst in other countries.

We have been two nights in a very beautiful bungalow. We have been helped a lot to arrive by the staff (and also to leave!) and we used the facilities of the Boutique Garden to really enjoy our staying. The food and the restaurant were great, the swimming pool is amazing, we had to chance to rent a motorbike to explore the surrounding (I strongly suggest to visit the cave!) It was really beautiful to come back in the evening, enjoy swimming and drinking a delicious smoothie, and then a great dinner! Everybody there has been really nice, smiling and helpful and I wish to thank them all!
