I went for the pool, water slide, and hot tub. The area was very clean however I did notice some patrons walked around the pool with their outside shoes on but no one said anything to them. There were no signs advising bare feet or pool shoes only. This is how you get plantar warts and my son is susceptible. Irritating that lifeguards did very little to control rough housing in the pool. Also noticed that there was often only one lifeguard on duty but yet they had this same lifeguard folding towels and not watching children in the pool. Lifeguards should not be distracted from their duty.

The toilet paper in the suites was the same you would find in a gas station bathroom. My son complained about the same issue. Neither did we like the $25.00 charge for On Demand movies.

I was working so I did not get the opportunity to use the pool. but the guests - young and old, sure seemed to be having fun every time I walked by. Beautiful pool area and everything was festively decorated. The staff were exceptional - happy and excellent customer service. The property is clean and maintained. We loved the robot server that they use in the restaurant when kids were at the table. It even plays music. Both the restaurant and the bar have excellent service and the food was good. There were lots of options close by for dining.

We had no complaints with our stay. The hotel is very large though so there is a lot of walking.

Room was clean, pool was very well maintained. I really love its tropical atmosphere. I found the rooms to be cozy and the overall facilities were great. I like that there is plenty to do from swimming, arcade, and a gym, along with other stuff I didn't get around to doing.

Reception was poor, waited around an hour to receive service. To give them the benefit of the doubt this could have been a one off such as a wedding, or maybe short staffed for the day. I also wasn't happy the hot tubs jets were broken but nothing can be perfect! Slide, pool and hot tub (you could still enter it) were operation which is the sole reason we booked the facility to begin with.

We specifically chose this location for the pool but the hotel was very nice. We got room service and the food was really really good. They are very quick to take care of any needs you may have and very helpful if you have questions. We extremely well cared for.

I have some difficulty walking and it is a very large property. It can be a bit of a long walk if you have to go to the front desk.

The hotel and pool and staff etc were great

The poky bathroom and the exceptionally uncomfortable bath with sharp edges making it impossible to relax and soak. The bedsheets didn't fit the bed, so the sheets became ruffled and uncomfortable during sleep The games room machines took tokens without letting you play. The pool maintenance worker needs to up their game, he had hours before the pool opened to remove all the clumps of hair and debris in the pool, but often I was removing people's hair from my mouth. Gross. And watching staff walk past litter on the ground was unbearable so I ended up picking up lots of litter around pool area and in smoking area.

The room was very nice and there was enough space to set up our daughter's playpen for sleep. Somethings needed a little work (I.e., toilet paper holder rusting off the wall), but it didn't take away from the overall feel of the room. The balcony overlooking the pool was great, and it was quite soundproof! The pool and waterslide were excellent! My whole family enjoyed it, especially my 6 year old!

The price was a little high, but the amenities made up for that.

I was having a problem with vending machines my daughter needed water to drink and the front desk gave me two water for free. Plus when I checked in another lady heard me say it was my daughters birthday so she went and got her a birthday bag which made her feel so special

Wish I would have been informed when I checked in about the massive xmas parties being held and drunk people roaming halls lol

Oh my goodness!! What isn't to absolutely love not like!! This hotel is much more like an indoor resort the a regular hotel. The staff were incredibly professional, helpful, friendly & kind! I have stayed in hotels, most 5 or more star, all over the world and the service + amenities available at this hotel were equivalent if not better then even places like the Royal York or Crown Plaza !! We will absolutely be booking another stay with the Best Western Lamplighter very soon & I'm planning on booking a solo Mommy needs her sanity back vacation there soon too lol

Everything was perfect!!

Upon check-in, Kim was very nice and helpful. Check-in was fast and easy. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The pool area is lovely, the water is warm, and the slide for the evening is a great added bonus. They keep the towels so well stocked at the pool area. The location is very good. Check out was very fast, and the tall man with glasses was a pleasure to with when exiting. I'd definitely recommend

The room was lovely, nicely decorated and secure.

Quite a bit of noise from other guests on the same hallway. Thankfully, each instance was over quickly, but it was enough to be disruptive. The tv interface was weird and lagged a lot, enough that I never used it after the first attempt.
