Location was perfect for our needs.

I've never stayed at a hotel in this price point that side not offer a free continental breakfast. Staff said oh, but ours is a buffet @ $15 per person. We went and looked at it out of curiosity. It looked like every continental breakfast at every hotel we've ever stayed at. Thank goodness we asked another guest the night before if they had tried & liked it or not. They said it was just ok. We stopped at Kroger the night before coming back from the graduation we were there to attend & bought what we wanted for breakfast. A serve yourself buffet with mediocre eggs, some fruit, cereal, toast & the ability to make your own waffle with undercooked sausage & bacon is the very definition of continental breakfast. Calling it a buffet did not make the food better.

Always love the area and the hotel and the staff.

Every 3 times or so that I stay here there is an issue with the thermostat. When are you going to replace these with regulators that actually work? My room stayed on 66 (it was measured with a meter) until maintenance was able to raise it to 72. But even then, the fan would not adjust properly. It was full on the whole time. "Auto" was just FULL MONTY. I believe my room was 909. But this has happened do me half a dozen times in the last 3 years. I come a lot. Also. the coffee in the restaurant is awful. Other than that, I still keep coming back.

I really liked having the balcony, and we actually could see fireworks from there on the 4th! Bed was comfortable. I like the desk in the room and the fridge Super nice people at the breakfast buffet every day. Great wait staff.

Although the pool area was beautiful, and we really enjoyed it for the first few days, on the evening of July 3 and July 4 ALL day, there were so many people that you could not even sit down anywhere or safely even enter the pool . I suspect many of these people came to visit with the guests, and were not actually staying at the resort. It prevented us from enjoying the pool. I had booked this extra day so we could enjoy the pool on the 4th. BUT no way we could. I suggest REQUIRING all people at the pool to have wrist bands on holidays also. It really isnt fair that people who dont' even stay there take up all the space. I was very disappointed

Everything was great except the breakfast buffet. It was dismal. Fortunately, our host made it right and had Eric come and cook fresh pancakes for us. But the french toast and pancakes were originally burned and displayed as the only choices on the buffet. The eggs tasted powdered. Maybe they weren't. But all else good.

We loved the pool. The DJ was amazing, wish he would have stayed longer. The beds were comfortable and the room stayed cool. The hallways were quiet when we were sleeping. Staff kept us informed of all we needed to know. Drinks were strong, as they should be for $15.

Food at the pool isn't great. Think water park food. Expensive & meh.

South shore harbor is a fantastic facility. Great rooms, restaurants and in warmer months great outdoor pool.

The bar adjacent to the main desk was basically unattended on a Friday night. A bartender would show up every 20 min or so to tend bar. Big disappointment, can’t believe the bar tender didn’t stay at the bar to serve guests.

Nice rooms very clean. Beautiful grounds and balcony.

We were placed next to obnoxious man next to our room. He was loud and cursing a lot to someone on the phone. Even security couldn’t get him to answer the door. We had a sleepless night. They move us to another room next day, thank goodness.

beautiful pool and great friendly staff. I loved being able to access the fitness center next door.

The roundabout isn't setup correctly. Stop signs should be yield signs and there shouldn't be a yield sign in the middle of the roundabout. also the ramp leaving the resort onto the roundabout should have the yield sign to the cars leaving the garage and not the main road.

The view from our 4th floor balcony was beautiful, and since we stayed during the week, the pool was never crowded. In addition, every staff person I encountered was very kind and helpful.

We hated to have to leave! This was our 1st mother/daughter trip.

I come here every summer my kids love it and the adults love it too is family oriented but the bar at the pool gives some extra to the adults

I wish the menu had more snack-Pool type of food like nachos, club sandwiches etc. menu doesn’t have much options and you’re not allowed to bring food from outside to the pool area
