Centrally located in downtown LA.

Hotel allows non guests from the neighborhood as well as other hotels to use the pool. Can be overcrowded Friday and Saturday. As a paying guest we found it difficult to find pool seating as well as food service. Servers tended to wait on large groups (non guests) first and would bypass us even with menus in our hands.

Rooms very quirky and comfortable , had a 1940’s vibe .Big bath . Great rooftop bar and pool . Lovely breakfast . Would definantly recommend

On our second day we were told that the bars restaurants and pool would be closed the whole day!! So unfortunately , we were unable to use the hotel facilities for 24 hours of our stay . No refund offered !!

the main lobby and restaurant area was beautiful. it felt so relaxing just sitting there. the scent was very nice as well

Some of the hotel staff was not very welcoming but most of them were very friendly and helpful The rooftop was pretty but a bit small and always crowded with people … sometimes music too loud and you could hear it in the room the facility and service offered (no room service) weren’t really worth the price

The staff were immediately welcoming, warm, friendly and helpful from our doorman Eddie to check-in with Jasmine. The service was quick but thorough to ensure all amenities and services were explained. We were only in town for a one night stay but we’re already talking about booking a longer weekend trip soon! Photos of the hotel and restaurant do not do it justice, it’s absolutely stunning in person. Every tile, light fixture, and rich fabric adding more to the experience as we made our way from the lobby to our room. The location of the hotel itself was fantastic too, offering plenty of food and drink options within walking distance. We also took advantage of the on-site offerings and we couldn’t be happier that we did. Again, incredible service from the restaurant staff with a menu that we can’t stop talking about.

No notes, it was fantastic

We loved the decor of the entire hotel. The bed was comfortable and the rooftop pool was AWESOME. Reallyquite walkable to many museums, Grand Central Market, and more despite not being a pedestrian-friendly city.

We would have liked at least a single drawer for clothing that didn't have mini bar snacks or a steamer in it! Also, why do hotels not give you a sheet anymore, just a comforter? We were a bit hot at night because of this.

Beautifully styled and decorated. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was quite good (we tried the breakfast and lunch menus). An elevated experience all around.

There was quite a bit of noise from one of the clubs below on the weekend, though I’m sure that’s hard to avoid anywhere in DTLA.

The building is a historical gem in the center of downtown with easy access to the best shops and restaurants. The renovation is totally luxe -- they were able to preserve some of the most unique details from the time period (including a really cool bank vault you walk through to get to the restrooms in the basement... a *must see*!) as well as beautiful dining areas and rooms. We had a huge bathtub in our suite which felt like a NYC apartment -- wrap around windows and a living room, too. Wifi was strong so we could work from the room with ease and the staff were so incredibly kind and helpful. We left feeling like family!

Double the fees, I have paid tax but hotel colllect double, then after complaint they collect other fee which is not listed in the booking without explaination what the fee is.

Hotel Per La was incredible. Such a gorgeous hotel where the staff were incredibly hospitable. We loved the rooftop pool and private members club vibes. Was really impressed, especially for the value for money.

I didn't quite realise how far DTLA was from some tourist attractions - but that was a me problem not the hotel's.

Wonderful hotel in DTLA. Walking distance to Metro, Pershing Square, Disney Music Hall, Jewelry District. Bed was very comfortable, room was well decorated and cozy. Restaurant and rooftop bar were wonderful (especially bartender Victor). Staff was friendly and helpful. Valet parking was steep but we were able to find street parking or nearby paid lots. It is in a wonderful old building with so much character. Only words to the wise: this is a downtown location so street residents are present. My husband and I had no problems whatsoever and will return and send friends here.
