It ticked all our boxes the location was ideal on a quiet private beach faraway from the noisy touristic concrete jungle that is the Sarande beach the atmosphere was very cosy friendly and familial ola lela and igly made us feel like family the pool is amazing!!!! and the crystal clear ionic sea just a few steps away restaurant excellent and breakfast buffet generous with homebaked typical local foods rooms are simple but the views from the balcony STUNNING especially the sunsets over the sea

I couldn't thank staff enough for making my family feel like home. From a very friendly welcome to a sad good bye everything was brilliant experience. Hotel is located at the cliff with a beautiful private beach. Swimming pool is 5 star condition very clean very well maintained same as hotel. Staff who run that place make as feel like we are visiting family we felt like home. My kids was little bit fussy about food they are Scottish so not a surprise. However staff make sure they eat them breakfast and cook for them pancakes in the morning my heart stops when we was given petla and jam my absolutely favourite Albanian snack on the day we was going back to Elbasan. This is Albania 🇦🇱 absolutely best people. Picture on the hotel website don't do a justice to that place location is one of the best view in the evening you can't ask for more. Perfect place for families with kids . Flm shum shum shum for everything we can't wait to back in summer

First and foremost we picked this hotel for its two pools and its semi-private beach access. Both those things were awesome. The two swimming pools exceeded our expectations and our kids (7 and 12) had an amazing time. It was also really great that whether you were at the pool or on the beach, there were always plenty of sun loungers and sun umbrellas for all guests at no cost. The food served in the on-site restaurant was good and they would serve hot and cold drinks poolside. The hotel is family owned and the staff are friendly and helpful with the main front of house staff speaking good English.

This is not a complaint, but just something to be aware of. This hotel is quite isolated. It is a 15 minute walk down dirt and gravel roads to a few local restaurants, and a 30 minute walk to the first proper set of bars and restaurants on the edge of town. So if you are staying here and you have children then you should plan to have a car, or to use a lot of taxis. There is a ok local bus service (15 mins walk from hotel) that we used on a number of occasions, but staying in this hotel requires you to have a good plan for your transport.

Nice place a bit out of city of Sarande. Beautiful view, private beach, swimming pool. Very hard working and friendly staff. My mom had first holidays ever and they made sure that she would feel happy here. Thank you!

Just bit difficult to find at first time.

Hotel Bahamas was beyond my expectations. Everything was perfect!!! I booked a panoramic room for 2 people, the sea view when waking up every morning is priceless. I have to highlighted how spotless the room, lobby, restaurant, pool and beach were. They do a really good job cleaning everything after guests walk with wet shoes/clothes. We ordered some dishes at the pool restaurant, and they were delicious and not more expensive than other restaurants in Sarande. Their staff was so friendly and kind, going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable.

Even though I made an effort, I couldn’t find anything negative in my booking.

Pool - amazing! We were here in August, we were always able to find the beds by the pool. Staff - polite and helpful, we saw how they dealt with some entitled guests. Cleaners - hardworking, changing towels every day (I don’t think it is needed) and bedsheets every 3 days. Sea - beautiful private beach, bring the shoes as the stones are big. Breakfast - good selection of sweet or savoury, vegetable, fruit, not a great fan of the quality of the breakfast coffee though 😉 You will need a car if you want to travel around, you can’t walk to Saranda, but this means you stay away from the noise. It needs a bit of modernisation, but it doesn’t have an impact on the quality of the holidays. The food is quite expensive, 300 lek for 1.5l of water, when you need 8 bottles a day, is quite steep.
