We stayed at City 5 Hotel in Tirana and had a truly pleasant experience. The staff were very warm, friendly, and accommodating — special mention to Criselda and the young guy in front desk staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was always clean, with fresh towels and daily housekeeping. We also enjoyed our healthy breakfast options which were just right to start the day. What we appreciated most was their flexibility and kindness — they let us check out at 2 PM since no other guests were booked after us. That gesture really showed how thoughtful and guest-centered their service is.

City 5 Hotel has some good points but falls short in a few areas. Its location is definitely a highlight—situated close to the city center, it’s convenient for exploring local attractions and getting around on foot. The breakfast was a highlight of my stay. Though minimalist in presentation, it focused on healthy options, offering fresh ingredients. It’s a decent option if location is your top priority and ideal for short stay.

I was slightly disappointed with the bathroom. It felt like it could use a more thorough cleaning routine to improve the overall experience.

From the moment we arrived, they were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful — nothing was too much trouble. We were esp really grateful for their help on the day of checkout. Their cheerful presence each day made a huge difference to our experience. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. It’s rare to come across such thoughtful, kind, and professional service — and because of them, we would return in a heartbeat. If you’re thinking of booking, do it — and if you’re lucky enough to meet Griselda and Shuko, you’re in for a real treat!

Great hotel right in the centre of Tirana, situated about a 10 minute walk from the airport drop off round the back of the opera house, and a short walk to many many shops, bars, restaurants etc. Check in was swift and all staff were friendly and spoke perfect English. Breakfast included lovely big omelettes and tasty coffee. Room was a good size, and had air con. Overall great value.

Really nothing, it's situated right in the centre, so the external nose wasn't always the quietest, but that's hardly the hotel's fault. A great place to stay.

Lovely little hotel in a superb location in the city centre and the perfect base to explore Tirana. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The balcony was a great surprise and I enjoyed sitting and relaxing outside after a busy day of sightseeing. The staff were very warm and welcoming. Surprised this hotel doesn't have more reviews on here as it really is a hidden gem.

The staff, the breakfast, and the room were all very nice. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and had good air conditioning. Bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was very nice.

3 minutes to the Pyramid and 5 minutes to Blloku, but the location wasn't as central as expected.

Staff were excellent, breakfast was good and location ideal - close but not too close to central square and a good cafe, pub and restaurants around the corner!

Shower pressure weak and room was a little cold. Also there is no need for big balcony cover. It stopped sun from entering the room!

Return visitor to this nice little hotel in a great location in central Tirana and beneficiary of a room upgrade as a result. Staff here are a delight and the rooms, if a little small, are attractive. Decent breakfast too.

No problems although there's no lift so it's probably not ideal for those with mobility issues.

Great location, few minutes walking to Tirana Pyramid and city center. From hotel to the airport service bus it is about 12-15 minutes. Area is nice, quiet and offers great restaurants. Personnel really friendly. Breakfast was great. It is not a buffet but includes a lot of options. Coffee was really good as well!

Wonderful hotel. Older but well kept up with modern facilities. Excellent breakfast. Extremely friendly staff. I would absolutely stay here again and wish this hotel was everywhere I traveled to!

It was hard to find, but that was more our fault. Also, because it isn't on the main road, it was quiet so we were able to sleep well, so it ended up being a plus.
