We are sad to leave the wonderful Mulaj Hotel after being here for 4 days to attend a wedding! Our deluxe king room (1416) was beautiful and had a spectacular view of Tirana from our 14th floor balcony! The Sky Tower next door could not have had a better view than we did! And all of the central area of Tirana around Skanderbeg Square was just a short distance away with lots of restaurants and places to “have a coffee” nearby. However, we thoroughly enjoyed The Bistro Mulaj in the front of the hotel where the manager, Klodi, and servers Henri and Gesi took wonderful care of us, greeted us warmly each time we came in, and made us feel at home! Likewise, Eni, Klevja, and Olta at the front desk were so kind and helped us in many ways. We were very happy that we decided to stay here!

Is is in the city centre, the room was big and you have all necessities. Great view from the top floors.

The reception staff, more specifically the girl on the day of my arrival - I have never seen such a lack of professionalism. The remote control from the TV was missing in my room and I had to ask her 3 times until I got one. Passing through the reception I’ve seen her painting her nails, making her lips, or giggling with another colleague, but never with a professional attitude for a reception. @ the manager: the reception is the first encounter of a client with your hotel, you really need to train that receptionist. I have to say that the girl from when I did the check out was extremely polite and professional.

Staff are friendly Its clean Good location

1. It’s very noisy until the early hours of the morning. It’s worst on Friday and Saturday nights — the music from nearby clubs only stopped around 5 a.m. The room is not well soundproofed, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. I suggest the hotel provide earplugs (the cheapest option) or invest in proper soundproofing for the rooms (a more expensive solution). 2. Misleading room size. It is advertised as spacious, but the listed size apparently includes the balcony, which is about one-third of the total area.

Mulaj Hotel is perfectly situated in a lovely corner of Tirana and it is easy to walk to all the spots in Tirana while returning to a more relaxed spot each evening. The breakfast is very well done and delicious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were fine. The staff was responsive to all advance info requests and arranged an airport transfer taxi which was accomplished with the only hitch being that our checked bags almost did not fit into the vehicle by any angle. Luckily there were only 2 of us as one large bag had to go in the back seat! There is no pull up spot at the hotel lobby area but it is just down a short approach alley where the taxi stops. The driver seemed confused when we tried to tip as the cost of the transfer was paid to the hotel. We did not try to tip any other taxi drivers in Albania. There is a small park across the street and at the far edge is a booth selling good pizza and ice cream for a budget price which you can enjoy at the park. Also next door is a tall building with a revolving restaurant on top. I think it takes more than an hour to fully revolve. It was a great first stop because we got a birds-eye view of the whole city and could easily orient oueselves. Also for a few sights like the Pyramid and Hoxha's residence it was enough for us to check them off the list after viewing from above.

There is not much space in the room. More than one person cannot fit between the foot of the bed and the desk. The team at the hotel were polite but not as friendly and proactively helpful as those in other parts of Albania.

The hotel is incredible! It was very clean, for example the bed sheets and even the corners of the bathroom, which are very delicate were clean. The staff was extremely friendly, they were helping us with taxis, baggage and were overall were friendly and talkative. The breakfast was delicious, the basic things like toasts, eggs, cheese, salami… were available and also fresh pressed orange juice - you also had the opportunity to order a few other things as breakfast. Furthermore what was rather lucky is, that there was a new razor, toothbrushes, shampoo and so on available. It was nearby the city center, which means most important attractions were possible to visit within 20- max. 30min. We would totally book the hotel again!

From the moment I arrived, everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were truly outstanding , every single one of them! From the warm and welcoming ladies at reception to the manager, the restaurant team, the housekeeping crew , everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. I genuinely felt cared for during every moment of my stay. The food was delicious, the facilities were spotless, and the entire atmosphere was relaxing and uplifting. It’s rare to find a place where every detail is handled with such care and excellence. If I could give this hotel a million out of 10 and a thousand stars, I would! Without a doubt, this will be my first choice whenever I return to Tirana. Highly recommended!

Nothing, everything is amazing

The location was great - just near the pyramid. The hotel was clean. Reception staff were super helpful. Breakfast was nice. There is a great restaurant just a few doors down (Ferdinand(?)) if you don't fancy walking far. Organised a taxi to and from the airport (extra charge). We could check in early. Reasonably priced mini bar. Toiletries. View of the city and mountains. Comfy bed.

It was fairly noisy; you could hear traffic a lot and other guests. We played white noise to sleep. The hotel advertises in the rooms that there are meals available but this is not the case. Would have helped to have milk in the rooms. There was not a lot to dislike.

Centrally located in Tirana. Very close to the pyramid, Hoxha's house and Skandeberg Square. In a quiet side street, located on 2 floors of a multi story building. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Adequately sized room. Comfy bed. Lovely shower with plenty of toiletries. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Young receptionist helped sort our tv out when we reported no signal. Breakfast was buffet style in reception area. Plenty of variety both hot and cold.

Sadly, because it was low season, the bar and restaurant were still under construction despite being advertised on booking.com that they would be open. Not a major problem as there was a lovely bar across the road that served drinks and snacks.

We had the perfect stay at the Mulaj Hotel. The staff go out of their way to make everything perfect, they are so pleasant and helpful, an absolute credit to the hotel. They even brought a birthday cake to our room for my wife's 50th and sang Happy Birthday to her!!! The hotel rooms are perfect size with fantastic balcony views. Breakfast is great, you have a selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries, bread and pancakes plus you can order a freshly made omelette as well. The location of the hotel is spot on, literally 10 mins walk from all major attractions. All in all a perfect place to stay and we will be returning.

Absolutely nothing

Reception staff is very friendly and try to halp guest always. Breakfast is very good. Apartments units are very large, clean, comfort, functional. Ther is a very large amount of replacement supplies provided. Soundproof windows. Quiet AC and heater. Full kitchen appliances. Location I thin is one of the best from Tirana, very close to restaurants, supermarkets and tourist main attractions. Very safe area.

Shower. Is a challeng to have hot water, that comes and goes as it wants. The hot water flow suddenly disappears for minutes until, by magic, returns. You have to pay attention not to be injured by this.
