The feel and fascinating design of the hotel facilities definitely places it in the 'boutique' category. The location is within easy walking distance of the main square and centre. The area is lively and the party central of Tirana so it may not suit those seeking tranquility and solitude but we slept like a log. The owners and staff are very affable and it was great to have breakfast in the main bar area rather than the monastic breakfast rooms offered by most hotels. A great stay and no hesitation about returning.

Absolutely nothing negative at all.

Excellent location. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Cosy room (even if not exactly the one presented in the cover-photo). Good WIFI connection. Lots of cafes and markets all-around, not to mention the deserted villa of the former communist dictator Hoxha, which lays quite 3 minutes walk away A nice starting point for discovering Tiranë (where one could not even dream to be allowed to less than 35 years ago!...:). For the Orthodox Christians - the Cathedral lays within a distance of less than 15 minutes walk. And, for those ones who don't really enjoy walking - bus station(s?) is / are to be found less than 100 metres away.

Nothing special to mention - except some item I promised to the staff not no be explicit about, granted their promise to take care of:)))...

Nice room with good facilities in a central part of Tirana with everything in walking distance. The breakfast situation was a bit confusing at first. You have a choice of either a toast with ham and cheese, a croissant style piece of pastry or an omelette with ham and cheese. I recommend choosing the omelette as that is a full meal with bread, cucumbers, tomatoes and olives. Additionally you can get a fresh squeezed orange juice and a cup of coffee. There is a balcony in the room where the windows can be closed. This keeps out most of the noise from the outside.

No safe in the room. Additionally, it seems like the floor don't get cleaned much. There were old hair and specks of dust around the room. This didn't improve during my stay. But the rest of the room was very clean.

Room was large, with a very comfortable bed. Lots of storage. Shower room was spacious. Changed towels daily, and gave you two floor mats which is great. Breakfast was in the bar. Omelette with sides of cucumber, tomato, two types of cheese. Great location.

It is not a hotel, more like an Air BnB facility above a bar. So, it might not suit everyone. The bar is busy all day and is very lively at night. Wouldn't suit those who don't like loud music at night.

The location was quite central, five minute's walk from Skanderbeg Square and about a minute from Enva Hoxha's house. The Pyramid was also about five minutes away. Adjacent to many restaurants and supermarkets. It was very clean and comfortable.

Very noisy till about 2.30 am ( I stayed there at the weekend). No free breakfast, which you would've expected for the price ( this hotel is expensive for Albania).

Room and bathroom were spacious. The bedroom was quiet and had great AC. The duvet on the bed was amazing. Location is great for central Tirana. The restaurant at the hotel had great food.

Breakfast was alright, nothing special and not a lot of choice. It was a bit unclear when checking in where to go or who to speak to. Maybe it is useful for new guests to let them know where to go to check in and what the wifi password is (we got this after asking).

Great hotel, great people and great location.

We stayed in an apartment across the street that was nice but there was no equipped kitchen we missed a pan so we could make a cup of coffe. That is the only reason for not giving full score. We have stayed in the hotelrooms before and they are really nice, but this time we needed more space.

The breakfast was typical European style, brioche and coffee. It was very god. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The apartment was very spacious and provided everything we needed, including a washing machine.

The hotel rooms were very noisy at night with traffic sounds and music from the bar close by.

I honestly have never met such polite and helpful staff, I am truly impressed. Location is amazing, and rooms are very comfortable and clean.

The only minus of this hotel was the breakfast. You can only choose among three dishes and only one is actually good. I mean, on the first day my colleague got beautiful omelette with side of vegetables and different kinds of cheese, and I got cold toast with ham and cheese that did not even melt. Pretty unacceptable.

Their booking system was hacked and Boutique Hotel Whiskey had a problem with our reservation. Since the hotel was full, they put us in a nearby hotel called Metro Hotel. They took care of everything free of charge, tried to solve the issue as fast as possible and gave us water/WiFi/etc. We enjoyed the Metro Hotel, which we highly recommend.

It was a pitty they were hacked and we couldn't stay there. It was not their fault.
