All the reception staff spoke English and were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Good bed. Lockers available. Good security for the whole premises. Reasonably well set up kitchen. Good public areas ( one indoors and one outside). Peaceful area in the basement. So many shops and eating places around the area. Close to public transport ( buses and trains which are easy to use). Bus to the main airport close by.

The check in procedure is over the top. Taking so much personal information. Storing it electronically. In this day and age of increasing risk to data held online the owners need to be mindful of the increased risk they are exposing their customers to and reduce the taking of information to a bare minimum required. Absolutely ridiculous. Frightening actually. Hopefully they realize this problem and adjust accordingly.

The hostel is everything you can expect from a hostel in South America, centrally located, comfy beds and nice staff. The breakfast they offer (for a fee) is a great value for the price. They also offer currency exchange, towel rental, and they will help you set up tours. The small issue I found was that the bed curtains were old and a tad dirty. Additionally, the presence of a sink inside the room is practical, but can be annoying if several people want to use it at the same time, or if someone is using it late at night or in the early morning, when other guest are sleeping.

There was a lot stuff the we made together with the Hostel, like walking tours, Partys, Pub crawls... it was really fun and nice to meet new people also the Chill areas of the Hostel is really cool. Rooms are nice and quiet with own seperated rooms to shower and toilet. Staff was so good and helpful too and there was very big lockers for your stuff.

Some curtains at the beds would be nice. Door of my room has to be fixed. Felt like half of the travellers were big groups you could not really connect to.

The hostel has a great location and staff. It’s close to a few nice bakeries, little markets and the San Telmo Market. Staff try to be helpful with everything from navigating the city, using the sim cards, exchanging money, outings or translating. There is also a great grill for asados, entertainment area (pool table, ping pong, Netflix), free tango classes each week and a good kitchen. It is incredibly clean!

The sinks are very close to the beds so it can feel awkward to use them if roommates are sleeping. They also are in an odd position that often creates a puddle on the floor. Not many of the burners consistently ignite. It would be nice if the patio quiet hours began at 1AM rather than midnight.

It was a really well located hostel in the centre of San Telmo which is a nice area with lots of bars and restaurants around. The staff were really helpful and the rooms were cleaned every day. There was a group chat with events organised and suggestions for what to do. It was a social hostel and we made lots of friends whilst here. There is free coffee available.

The kitchen was good and well equipped, however small considering the size of the hostel. There is breakfast available but it is very expensive and not worth it in our opinion.

Truly one of the best hostel stays I’ve had. Not only a great location with convenient access to neighbouring touristic attractions, with well maintained amenities, but the staff are truly what separates the best from the rest. Roman and Juliette provided the most genuine hospitality. They were generous in sharing their authentic recommendations for the city they so passionately love. Staff went above and beyond to assist in my travel planning, even purchasing my bus ticket for me when my travel card had been declined through online booking systems. The vibe was social and welcoming and makes for a homely stay during your travels.

Roman was the best. He was always answering all sorts of crazy questions I had, connecting me with other travellers, and even personalising a “self walking tour”route for me. Every time I came back he would greet me like we were old friends. It made the whole atmosphere there so fun and welcoming. The facilities are also great - huge kitchen, super modern space, comfy beds, hot showers, heaters in the room. They also had so many tours and things they can help you book. I got tickets to a tango show and my ferry to Uruguay with them. Highly recommend.

The ultimate staff team, and the one stop shop for all Buenos Aires needs. Really want to stress how great the team are and how they made our stay really enjoyable. This felt like a proper hostel with a great hostel spirit. I can see why it has had such past accolades. Their events are also fun and inventive. Also its location in San Telmo is great.

Kitchen equipment was well past its use-by date, definitely needs new pots and pans, as well as something to make our own coffee with (basic plastic coffee filter holder, cafetière or aeropress). Also the rooms were slightly dated and worn in but nothing really to stress about.

i ended up staying days and days longer than i had intended! the staff (all of them) was so friendly and helpful. the bunk beds so sturdy i didn’t feel the other person moving about. the shower was so strong and so hot!!! and the common areas spacious (i spent a few days doing work there as well). there’s a bit of organizing social activities but they don’t overdo it ;) ohh and they made my bed every single day, which was such a sweet touch!

there were no hammocks ;)

Its really big so you have to make an effort to meet people not that its unsocial. For example I just met a guy who was my age the evening he was leaving, even though we’d both stayed there for 2+nights before then. The couches also aren’t very comfortable, especially the outdoor ones
