The hotel staff: the housemaids, receptionists, and the office folk were all so friendly and so obliging. We stayed for 21 days and the bed so comfortable. Apart from the Callao Suites itself, we really appreciated the location, which was right near the intersection of Callao and SantaFe avenidas, and so convenient for most of our activities. It was within walking distance to the famous Recoleta cemetery, the art gallery, the very unique Atena Book store etc.. And there were and many great restaurants, coffee shops and other shops close by.We had a very enjoyable stay. There was a problem when we first arrived of a limited water flow in the handbasin tap in the bathroom, but a plumber was promptly called and it was soon fixed.

We really found nothingmuch to to criticize.

The hotel was excellent. Extremely good localization, subway station and 24/7 supermarket only 2 blocks far from the hotel, many restaurants in the neighborhood, very clean and comfortable. Our bedroom had a great view of the street and even then it was very silent. There is a small kitchen and a table which can be quite useful for small meals and for those who travel with children.

It is not the best hotel for people with disabilities or elder people. The elevator is quite small (3 people maximum, I think it doesn't fit a wheelchair if necessary) and the access to the lobby is also through 3 steps stair, which is also not easy for someone with disabilities. The bathroom is a shower with a bathtub, which can be a difficult to get in and a little bit slippery (there is a non-slip mat that was enough for us). The breakfast is not in the hotel and it is a voucher for a coffee shop close to the hotel, there aren't many options included.

The location is good. If you like walking, a lot of the touristic places are no more than 30-45 minutes. During the day it felt safe to wander around. The apartment itself is clean but old.

The poor breakfast (cafe y medialuna) is served in a cafe shop around the corner. The furniture and the building are a bit old.

The Hotel is in Av. Callo with Santa Fe, an excellent area.
