Unbeatable location. Size of room is great and very comfortable. Staff is incredibly nice.

Building and room are a bit older than they appear Like others said, breakfast is very limited, you actually go to the café next door. It wasn't very tasty and the service there was terrible lol

The hotel itself is a mix of new and old, both in modernization and aesthetics. The building has some age and at one time there were electronic keypads installed on the doors which are no longer used. Now there are modern deadbolt type manual locks with cylindrical keys. The rooms are update with split air conditioning and soundproof windows which practically eliminates ALL outside noise from the busy street traffic outside. Soundproofing inside is not as good between rooms and the floor above. The room is clean and has everything necessary for a short or long stay; comfortable bed, mini-fridge, microwave, kettle. But the staff ALWAYS makes the difference between a good and bad stay at any hotel. In this case, the staff at El Misti Coliving Obelisco is exceptional. They have very positive attitudes and are always available to help in any way necessary. They spoke English well enough to accommodate for my limited Spanish. Although only two primary choices (eggs or croissants), the free breakfast is pretty good and is accompanied with cheese, ham and additional toast. I did not leave hungry. As I travel alot, this would have been a pleasant but ordinary stay for me and my wife, but Griselda in housekeeping made this experience exceptional. I bought some flowers for my wife and then we went to explore the area. When we returned, the room was cleaned and the loveliest towel arrangement was on the bed. My wife was amazed and asked me if I paid to have them do it. My answer was "no, sometimes there are truly kind and creative people in this world, who are not motivated solely by money, and whomever did this (Griselda) is one of these people." I have included pictures to show her thoughtfulness. Needless to say, it earned me lots of points with my wife. Incidentally, she followed it up the next day with an even fancier arrangement. Thank you Griselda!!! You made this trip AMAZING!!

I could nitpick and say trim needed painting or there were cracks in the plaster. I prefer to say these minor flaws showed the age and character of the building. There was NOTHING to dislike, except being able to hear guests in the adjoint room. But considering this was a room with a door between two rooms to accommodate families, even this was understandable.

If you’re looking for a hotel that is in the middle of everything, El Misti Co Living Obelisco is the place. We were greeted by Hepe Francisco who gave us his Bienvenido’s hospitality by giving us tour of the delightful amenities around the hotel. Throughout our stay Mathias, Lautaro and Diego were our go-to problem solvers. Making it stress free to navigate the city, very much appreciated! The rooms are simple and outdated but provided a comfortable bed and clean room which truly matters. Big shout out to the El Misti Co Living crew for gifting us unforgettable memories in Buenos Aires. The hotel is recommended if your interest is close to everything.

Room is simple and outdated. Breakfast not a lot of choices as an example, you can only picked one out of the two. Either scramble eggs of croissants. Cannot have both or I have to pay the other.

A very warm welcome and helpful staff. The room was small but clean and ideal as a solo traveller. The breakfast in the coffee shop was adequate a choice of croissant or scrambled eggs and toast. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Felt safe in the hotel. They were very security conscious

If you want to leave a bag for storage it is $5 US a day. It is not the safest part of Buenos Aires and you need to heed all warnings about how to stay safe.

It was perfect for a large family group of 10! The quadruple room was a great way to have one side of the family together. The fact that breakfast was included was a huge plus for us. Also location was ideal to walk everywhere. Lastly, I cannot compliment the staff enough. The guys at the lobby were super friendly and helpful at all times. Would definitely recommend staying here :)

Great location near el obelisco. Clean rooms and wonderful customer service

There was no water (plumbing issue that day) we could not use the barroom not take a shower. That made it quite uncomfortable. They gave as a reason a “city problem” when in fact they had a leak in one of the rooms and the plumber broke a main pipe. Not an easy stay that day

What I enjoyed the most was the obvious effort to improve step by step. Although the property is not new, it is being well renovated step by step. With it´s unbeatable price/performance (directly at Obelisco!) it also has simply great staff - Francisco and Matthew checked us in and took great care of us in every direction. I would not hesitate to come again.

The curtains need to be changed, but that will come soon I´m sure :)

We had some issues with some bathtub-shower’s water leaking: everytime we’d take a shower, the bathroom would get soaked. At first, we thought it could be from the bidet, and then we would put towels all over the floor so we could just walk. But then we realized that the bathtub’s shower stall rubber seal wasn’t in deed sealing it, probably for being old or even damaged, so the shower’s water would slip through it and soak all the room. It was really not nice, but was our only problem and complaint.

We got what we paid for. It is in the cntr of Bs.As., so for $50 US a night, you can't expect much more than a clean bed and clean towels. Breakfast was ok, in an adjusent coffee bar, not part of the Hosteria. Check-in and out were very smooth and accommodating as we checked in earlier then the stated time, and checked out later with no issues.

The place could use some upgrades and renovations.

Wonderful location with views of the obelisk from the room window. The friendly staff constantly had friendly greetings as I came and went. The breakfast consisted of toast with cream cheese and jam and scrambled eggs with coffee and juice. It left me feeling satisfied.

The walls were a bit thin but luckily all my neighbors were respectful of quiet hours in the night.
