Spacious 2 room apartment. Above very nice restaurant. I loved their huge ready-made appetizer selection for 3500AR$ each. Very fast and convenient. Very attentive staff. Nice bathroom. Large rooms. Comfortable bed. Balcony (I didn’t use) Relatively quiet. Across from church (which did not ring its bells until 11am thankfully).

Old building so some fixtures are worn. Large entrance room—the floor vibrated from kitchen fan in restaurant below when restaurant was operating.

The Loft Osteria is perfectly situated in San Telmo, moments away from Plaza Dorrego and minutes from the indoor food market, Mercado de San Telmo. Despite being so close to a ‘tourist’ area, it was very quiet as the room windows faced into the courtyard. It’s easy to get to most places and taxis are convenient. As described, these are loft rooms and so it’s open plan, giving you plenty of space. The building itself is nicely decorated.

Didn’t have 24hr check-in, but the staff were so friendly and extremely helpful in organising/suggestion other alternatives. The shower drainage was a bit slow, but it is an old building so not too fussed.

The building is a historic treasure and has a great location. The adjoining restaurant serves amazing food. The king-size bed was comfortable.

The bed is up a flight of stairs and the bathroom is downstairs, which in the middle of the night isn’t great. The toilet wouldn’t stop running (but hopefully they fixed that.) The interior decor lacks the charm of the inner courtyard that all the rooms open onto.

Spacious rooms. Clean. Great restaurant, but a little expensive. Great location. Good vibe in San Telmo. Adjacent to weekend market and covered market. Can walk to city center and Florida street (about 30 minutes -not recommended at night for safety reasons). Local area is safe.

A little run down now.

Big spacious room, comfortable bed and very friendly staff. They have a great restaurant and bar downstairs where they give hotel guests a discount. It’s located in a very cool area with markets on the weekends. My fiancé and I had a great time here we would definitely come back.

The stairs are steep with no lift. Not ideal for people who have mobility issues.

The hotel (actually a old mansion) has adjacent restaurant serving great breakfast. Location allows easy access to Puerto Madera (great for morning walk/run), scenic San Telmo and rather short walk towards Casa Rosada, Florida Street shopping area, etc.

Staff was wonderful. Food was great.

My suite was on the street side. This was often quite noisy, especially on Saturday night, into early Sunday morning, when they were setting up for the Sunday street market. I would definitely stay there again, but would prefer a room farther from the street noise.

Very good position in San Telmo which is very lively. Restaurant downstairs is excellent and breakfast was great, choice of sweet and savoury, eggs, coffee top ups etc, all served at your table. Rooms are quite unusual but big bed was comfortable and outside courtyard a lovely place to sit.

Rooms could do with a little bit of maintenance

The room is a little tired and could do with some minor repair work. However, the room was very good value.

Friendly staff. Atmospheric.
