We are going to Antarctica and came in a day early. The Sarmiento Flats was located within walking distance (800 meters) from the Hilton hotel where we are staying the night before flying to Ushuaia. Glad we came early; breakfast is at 3am tomorrow. And we had a red eye flight. Sarmiento Flats was available to not only drop off luggage early but the room was available early as well. Earliest we have ever checked in anywhere. Very helpful after the red eye flight

The old fashioned elevator is a little noisy. But it does add charm to the experience.

The room was modern and very well equipped, I got a room with a fridge and coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable. Self-check in went very smoothly as I got detailed descriptions of how to get in and about the room. It's located very close to Puerto Madero and Plaza de Mayo. There is no need to use transportation to get around the center.

Although the location is very convenient, I was feeling a little uncomfortable walking on the streets around as a solo female traveler.

Great room in a safe, central location, within easy reach of many parts of Buenos Aires on foot or on public transport. Florencia was a great help with advice and assistance in arranging my trips within the city as well as to Colonia in Uruguay.

More a tip than a problem - the property doesn't have 24 hour reception so the staff communicate with you via WhatsApp and arrange to meet you at the property. I didn't have an internet connection when I arrived, but discovered a free Buenos Aires internet connection is available in the street outside of the property and was able to make contact that way.

+ Very friendly staff, Florencia was very helpful and attentive and helped with my inquiries. + All communication went through Watsapp, which was great if you had to ask something. English was not the strongest language, but you can easily use a Google translator, or talk to the guy who was checking you in. + Good and fast wi-fi. + All the doors have a code lock, meaning you won't lose keys and don't have to worry about who has them if you travel with another person. + Pretty cool unique manual elevators, although they can be a bit loud. + Big comfy bed. + Nice design of the room, lots of great details to save space and make the most out of it. There are sockets near the bed as well. The bathroom has everything you need, including branded toiletries. + Amazing location, close to the main square and the waterfront. It's in the middle of the business center and offices, so pretty quiet in the evening and on weekends. Lots of beautiful architecture around, well-lit, felt very safe. There's a supermarket on the opposite side of the road. + Had a chance to meet the owner of the complex, he was very attentive and caring about this place.

- Low-ish water pressure in the shower, wished it was a bit stronger. - The shower only had the rain shower head, which sometimes was inconvenient when you didn't have to wash your hair. - Window insulation was not great, but the air conditioning works well for both hot and cold temperatures. - Sometimes you could clearly hear other people in the lobby or lift sounds, especially in the evening.

The beds are really comfortable! everything is super clean and the location is super convenient. Florencia was super kind and helpful. The area is super quiet at night and is well illuminated. The room has a cozy little terrace. It feels super safe and its cool to be able to come and go as you please!

I'm a little bit sensitive to noises, and we were really close to the elevators. So I had to sleep with earplugs in order to sleep comfortably. Also, I felt I needed to talk softly if there was somebody in the lobby, the doors are a little bit thin, and felt they could hear what I said. Anyways it was always quiet and it's just a little detail that no many people would care about.

Easy to check in/out

Take a cab if you’re going in/out after 8pm. As the surroundings are mainly offices, not many people in the streets. Not dangerous but be safe. During business hours, it’s all busy so there’s no issues.

Loved our stay here, or hosts we're very helpful. A cute little apt.in a great location just 2 small blacks away from shopping district where you can find everything you need, shops, tours, groceries, restaurants. Apt. was clean, bed comfortable, shower hot and they upgraded our room free, so we had a balcony. Ordered taxis for us and gave us late check out. Felt very safe. Recommend highly.

Florencia was an amazing host. My flight landed early and she let me check in at 9am before the 11am check in which allowed me to shower and clean up to explore my first day in Buenos Aires instead of wasting a day. Then my flight out was delayed by 10 hours so she let me have my room until I needed the taxi to pick me up. she also let me know the best places to get the best exchange rate. 10/10 thank you Florencia!

The location and the general comfort, and also the price: very competitive. All the facilities are working perfectly. That's an excellent place to stay.

There's nothing to say about disliking the place. Everything are ok, for the meaning i choose this solution. Nothing else to declare.

Lovely and clean and very comfortable bed.

Could hear people coming and going as well as the lifts. There was also a very loud party on the rooftop which went past 1am although I know this isn’t the host’s fault.
