Great communication ahead of trip. Room was as per photos and has a heater. Location is a 5 minute walk to downtown where all the restaurants are located. Airport is a 20 minute taxi ride. Bus station is a 5 minute taxi ride. Breakfast buffet has breads, cereals, toast, jams, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea. Gabriella is a terrific host, very helpful!

Extra pillows would have been nice, but other than that, it was great.

There was no way to turn of the heat in the room which made it a bit stuffy at times. The walls where quite thin so you could hear a lot of noise. And unfortunately it was the worst breakfast we had in all of Argentina, I would recommend getting breakfast in the town.

Hosteria Patagonia, was a cute and comfortable place to stay for a night. We had a family room, which provided space for four people to sleep, separated by a partial wall. The beds were warm and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate, though not exceptional. It was an easy walk to the central part of town.

The Hosteria was a good place to launch a trip into the region.

Good value, close to center. Room was basic but clean, and there were no problems with hot water in the shower as in other places in town. Good pre-stay communication.

There was no one at reception when we arrived at 1pm so we ended up entering the property’s garden and finding a maid who gave us the keys to our room. The staff arrived at 6am and made too much noise opening the front gate and working in the kitchen. Breakfast was very limited, but that seems to be the standard in Patagonia.

A lovely place in a great location for the main shops and restaurants. Set in a pleasant garden area. Our room was warm and comfortable. Great hot shower and hairdryer. Breakfast was buffet style with everything you could wish for. Very pleasant hosts. Thank you

Nice location - calm but just a 5 min walk to the main street with all restaurants and shops. Facilities were clean and functioning well. Room was well heated too. I could have a quick breakfast even if I checked out really early which was nice! Parking right outside is easy and free.

Nothing really, I felt the value for money was good.

The staff was helpful and flexible, we could leave our backpacks there after check-out. The breakfast had the essentials. The room is spacious and warm (even too warm for us when we entered it).

I am a deep sleeper but my wife told me that there were some noisy guests. Possibly it can be solved with a sign to be quiet after a certain hour.

The staff was extremely friendly and was glad to help with anything I needed. Hot water, clean bathroom, comfy bed - everything you need during the stay there. The breakfast was very nice, allowing me to start the day easily.

The wifi wasn't strong enough in every room (I stayed there twice) but it still worked.

The location. While it is relatively close to the main avenue , walking up hill can be a tad annoying. Also I felt the breakfast was a bit lacking.

Good place to stay a few nights in El Calafate. Gabriela at reception was extremely helpful in organizing transfer from airport and buying tickets for bus to El Chalten. Francisco, the taxi driver, will tell the history of El Calafate and make recommendations regarding dinner and how to organize your stay.
