Our room was very big, clean and warm. It was great to have the lounge area by the reception. Breakfast was surprisingly good - we were expecting boring toast and jam, it was much better. On the day of our departure the staff was only setting up breakfast but we asked if we can already have something and they agreed - big plus. No problem with parking. I'd recommend this place for anyone going to Patagonia. We also got a great restaurant recommendation, which was affordable as for El Chalten - also a plus!

Patagonia is expensive, so I guess complaining about the price doesn't make sense :)

Comfortable, basic room and beds (twin beds), good bath facility and lots of hot water. No internet in rooms, but quiet “living room” sitting area upstairs, and lots of tables/chairs and occasional furnishings down in main area for gathering, eating, come/go, and reception. All staff were quite good, helpful and very efficient. Lots of good restaurants nearby and 10-minute walk from bus station; plenty of street parking out front. Sited at edge of town, across from river…500-foot headwall on opposite river bank had at least 4 nesting roosts for Andean Conder which could be easily observed from “living room” windows - a real treat!

All very accommodating. Would stay here again if using El Chaltèn as a base for hiking.

Great location, 5 min walk from bus station. Next to a couple trails but farther from others. Had the private room next to stairs and was worried it would be loud but that wasn’t an issue. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is also on a non busy street so there was really no noises from traffic or pedestrians. You could also order boxed lunches for your hikes.

One night we got hot in our sleep, but then we opened the windows and it got much better. So recommendation is to leave windows open if one sleeps hot. There was usually a breeze.

Great location near the town centre and bus station. Warm and comfortable beds, good size rooms and bathrooms with a bath - great for aching muscles after hiking! Decent breakfast and friendly helpful staff.

Some noise could be heard from other rooms. The policy of leaving room keys hanging by reception makes sense so they are not lost, however this felt a little insecure as anyone could take any room key to gain entry. Staff were generally around but not always at reception, and there was no validation of who was taking which room key. The rooms did however have a safe.

Comfortable bed and hot shower. Friendly and helpful staff - they went out of their way to allow me to use kitchen to reheat leftover food, and found an ice pack for a foot injury I had. Good location, close to everything but close to the river.

The hallway echoes quite a bit, amplifying noise from opening and closing doors, people visiting in common areas, etc. Can be a little loud in the rooms if you are trying to get to sleep early or sleep in late.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We appreciated being on the ground floor. El Chalten is pretty small, so we were close to everything.

Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room. The first day there was after a storm the previous night. They must use river water for flushing the toilet because the water in the toilet was gray for the first day and a half. They also don’t want you to put toilet paper in the toilet.

The location is perfect for the ones arriving at El Chaltén by bus, it's just a five-minute walk from the station. Our bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable. Breakfast is simple but good enough.

The internet connection only works in the common area on the first floor, not in the bedrooms (at least when we stayed there, in September 2024).

Close to bus station, very clean. We wanted to have breakfast earlier because of the trekking and they allowed us to. no internet in the room, no tv, no fridge . generally the are has wifi issues and comparing to the prices of the area, was ok. friendly staff

Clean and spacious room, good buffet breakfast with variety of items. Clean property and very friendly staff, always willing to help, in spite of language barrier. Linen and toiletries were provided in adequate quantities. Property very well maintained.

Wi-Fi is only available at the lobby, so need to come out of room to use Wi-Fi. Off located from Main street of the town where most of the restaurants are located (10 min walk), but within walking distance from Main Bus station.

Spacious room with comfortable bed and nice buffet breakfast

First room (room 11)we stayed in there was a lot of noise from pipes. On our return we were on the top floor and no problem.
