We liked a big room with your own kitchen. There’s also a big TV, conditioner and everything you need for comfort staying. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Also, the view was amazing!

It’s not a big minus but the hotel is located on the mountain so you should use stairs or order a taxi.

Our stay at Hill Guesthouse was excellent. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate our early check-in after a long overnight journey from Tbilisi. The studio was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed, and felt just like home. The highlight was the breathtaking panoramic view of the city and surrounding mountains, which made our stay even more memorable.

The only downside was the location. While the mountain-top setting offered beautiful views, it was about a 10-minute drive from the city center and there were no shops, supermarkets, or cafés within walking distance. It would have been great if the guesthouse offered some basic room service options such as coffee, light snacks, or even breakfast to make up for the lack of nearby amenities.

spacious rooms with all the facilities and amenities: a mini fridge, stove, sink with dishes, kitchen utilities, towels, shampoos, soap and toothbrushes, a hairdryer available. a mini-walk-in closet to hang your clothes. Washing machine, drying racks, iron and iron boards available in the common area. Amazing and friendly personnel, ready to accommodate any request! secure and safe place. Beautiful view of the city from the top of the hill, fresh air and cooler air than in the city. Overall great service!

The location is a bit of a challenge, since the road to the guest house is narrow and sometimes taxis would have difficulty to reach it. But there is an alternative- is to use the stairs. The driver can drop you off by those stairs and you can easily climb up the hill to reach the guest house (about 2-3 min walk by stairs).

Very good room facilities such as the bathroom, sofa, table, chairs and kitchen and the view of the city and the mountain from the terrace is amazing! The premise has a unique design too. Staff is very attentive and always ensured we got on taxi because sometimes taxi drivers on Yandex had a hard time locating the guesthouse entrance. Private bathroom is good and beds are comfortable too. Note that the place is on a hill and it's advisable to rely on taxi to get around the city (depending on the time of the day, it cost us about 600-1000 drams per trip to travel to the city centre). I will definitely come back again the next time I travel to Yerevan, Armenia.

Nothing. I was already aware of the location at the time of booking so I was ok with it and relied on taxi to get to the city centre.

The Hill Guesthouse was great! The staff was helpful and attentive. The room was spacious and clean. The kitchenette was very convenient and well stocked. The view over the city is impressive. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Yerevan!!

The location was a bit complicated — at the top of a hill that is difficult to access by car when there is a lot of traffic & also by foot (only via a steep staircase). The taxi and Yandex drivers, however, are willing to pick up and drop off from the guesthouse, so it was never a major issue during our stay.

The hotel is very comfortable. The rooms are clean, spacious enough, have comfy beds and all the necessary amenities - TV, fridge, mini-kitchen, hair dryer, etc. There's a room on each floor with a microwave, iron, and washing machine. The Wi-Fi is free and good. The room was cleaned regularly and thoroughly. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The views of Yerevan from the mountain are breathtaking!

The hotel is located on a mountain. The only way to go up and down is to take a taxi. Walking is an option, but it's quite a bit of exercise and may be too hard for the elderly or young kids. Also, there are no shops on the mountain, so you need to plan ahead and buy the stuff you need while you're down in the city. Not a problem, though - you get used to it pretty quickly. If I could make a suggestion, I'd recommend installing a shelf or a small cabinet in the bathroom, so that there's a place to put your skincare products.

Great view. Spacious and clean rooms. I was especially pleased with the communication of the host Liana, who wrote me beforehand and answered all my concerns about the late night arrival. Although the facility is not that new I didn't care about it much and it met all my expectations. I had a number of upsetting situations in Yerevan because the communication was off or the property owner changed the location of the stay, so here I felt very much comfortable.

The only thing unconvinient thing was that the Internet was bad in the evening when all the guests return and I needed it for work.

Staff were very helpful, providing information on supermarkets and anything else you'd need to know. Our room was large and comfortable with Air Con in the living room, but not bedroom, however the bedroom still cooled down no problem. The location is quiet despite being above a busy road. It is about 30 to 45 mins from town depending which direction you go, I don't recommend walking due to traffic and it's not a particularly nice walk. We did it once and then took Yandexgo. Nice outdoor area to sit and have a drink though a little noisy from the traffic below. Fantastic restaurant Keghar is 10 minutes walk up the hill, highly recommend going there.

Nothing that particularly comes to mind.

• Best Accommodation: My boyfriend and I recently stayed at The Hill Guest House in Yerevan for almost a week, and it was undoubtedly the best accommodation we experienced during our Caucasus trip. Our love for Yerevan was significantly influenced by this wonderful guest house, making it a highlight of our journey through Armenia. • Hotel Standards: Although it calls itself a guest house, The Hill Guest House offers amenities and services that rival many hotels. • Helpful Staff: The hotel manager and security staff were extremely helpful. Their warm hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. Special shoutout to Liana ♡ • Early Check-In and Care: I fell sick the morning we moved from our previous accommodation to The Hill Guest House. We arrived early, yet we were welcomed warmly and given a place to wait while they prepared our room, along with warm tea for me. • Cleanliness and Comfort: The room was exceptionally clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The comfortable beds, bright and cozy room, and thoughtful touches like soft tissues were much appreciated. • Attentive Service: The staff regularly checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Unlike other guest houses, they consistently offered to clean the room and change towels. • Facilities: Our room had a kitchen, and there was also an extended kitchen and laundry area for the floor. We could heat up food, make tea/coffee, and do laundry on the large balcony. • Beautiful Location: Located on a hill in the Nork area, the guest house offers stunning views of the city, including the Mother Armenia statue. There is a wonderful family-run restaurant and winery called Keghar, just a 10-minute walk away – highly recommended! • Strong Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was reliable and strong, which was crucial for me as I worked remotely and had successful Zoom meetings without any issues. • Charming Cat: There is a sweet cat with her kitten in the hotel parking area, adding a homely touch.

None: Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. If we return to Yerevan, we will definitely stay at The Hill Guest House again!

Spacious apartments with beautiful terrace.

There is no air conditioner in the room. And if you open the window you can’t close the blinds. So you sleep without air or with light in your face. Hard choice. Also there was a weird unpleasant smell in the room like wet material or maybe cheap chemicals that they clean with. We sprayed with a lot of air freshener but the smell doesn’t go. The location is reachable only by car, you can’t go out to walk or even to supermarket if you need something because of the steep hill. There is nothing in walking distance available. Security man who opens the gates for the car to enter made me feel always not welcomed like we are bothering him. The one that works at night shift was much friendlier.
