The hotel's location is superb. It is very accessible to shops, restaurants and other attractions. The room where we stayed in was new and clean. What we saw in the photos is the same in real life. The breakfast is good, especially the newly baked croissant and pancake. The staffs are incredibly very nice and hospitable, especially Armina (housekeeper). She always greeted us with a smile. Narek and Emil (both receptionist) are extremely helpful too.

Breakfast menu needs variation since we ate the same food for 4 days. The bed mattress was hard and a bit uncomfortable to sleep in. We attempted to use the pool for 2 times but was unsuccessful because the water was so cold and apparently they had problem with the heating system.

Spacious apartment with AC in each room, which was necessary during hot Yerevan summer. Well equipped. Room cleaned each day. Pool in a basement for refresh.

We were woken up at 3 AM by knocking on the door, windows, calling on a phone from reception, because there were switches for electricity in our room, which they needed to switch on. It was extremely unpleasant. They could have mentioned it on beginning of our stay. All the rooms are on the ground level, therefore do not expect any view. We were fine with it.

Design of the room, bath robes, air conditioning. water bottles free of charge every day. Great location close to Republic square and cascade as well as most of the downtown attractions. Rare opportunity to have 3 bedrooms in a 6 person apartment, very good choice of options for breakfast, helpful staff. Good everyday cleaning, just don't forget to put the sign on the door handle. Opportunity to use the swimming pool for free (kids loved it!). Shops are just a few steps away.

Lack of pans and pots in the kitchen (only one old scratched pan). One of the bedrooms is without any windows, which could be a problem for a claustrophobic person. BTW, the windows from the other two bedrooms look into a corridor.

Great location, nicely designed room with comfortable bathroom, all the usual amenities you would expect from a decent hotel room (cattle, bath robes, slippers). Good and always working air conditioning. We asked for the room with windows to the street and we were given one. Good cleaning, just don't forget to hang the sign to request it. Good WiFi and breakfast with different local dishes every day.

The custom in Armenia (not just this place) is to pay for the hotel at the beginning of your stay and I can't say I like it. :) Pillows are not very comfy.

Staff were friendly (the cleaning staff were especially very nice). Room is clean and seems newly renovated. Bed was big and very comfortable.

- The room had no window to outside. The only natural light was from a panel at the side of the door, which leads out into a corridor. So it's either keep the blind closed and be in darkness, or open it but be visible to anyone walking past. - We arrived at 10:30am, and was advised that the room was ready but we'd have to pay a half day rate to check in early (check in was at 2pm). After I said it wasn't worth it, they reduced the price a bit, although still seems a bit mean-spirited. I've never paid for early check in before when the room was available.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Phoenix Hotel for anyone seeking an exceptional hospitality experience, and I cannot wait for my next visit!

Clean place and centrally located. Few minutes walk to all downtown attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful. We have rented the 3 bedroom apartment for the family, and it is one of the few places in Yerevan offering this type of property at an affordable price.

No parking space available and you have to literally hunt a spot in the vicinity or if you’re lucky in front of the hotel.

Staff was very nice and willing to help. Very responsive. The hotel is close to everything, plenty of bars and breakfast place around it.

The window doesn't look on the street but in the corridor, not to much light/privacy because of it. Also it is on the ground floor of a residential building and soundproofing is not excellent, I could hear lots of mechanical noise at night for some reason, but I am a light sleeper.

I liked the front desk lady. She was so amazing. I speak Armenian but she heard my accent and continued to speak English which made me feel more comfortable. She’s so kind and nice.

We tried to call and order food from the menu, but the restaurant said they had their own emu and some items were not available. But it wasn’t a big deal they brought us a new menu and we ordered finger foods.

If I could give this place a rating higher than 10 I would've! Beautiful, clean, spacious room and nice facilities. It's close to everything, restaurants, bars, main attractions, squares and public transportation. Alla at the main desk was incredible. She was so helpful and she made my stay so much better with her great advice and recommendations. The rest of the staff is so friendly and helpful as well, I recommend this place 15/10
