Our stay at the Manor House felt more akin to a feature film or a fever dream than a typical night in lodgings. From the seamless check in process to the sun-blessed evening upon the balcony we simply did not stop smiling. Our room was quite simply divine. Functional and ergonomic climate controls abounded. The sheets smelled as though they may have been purchased that very day. The television remote and all light/power sources functioned as you would demand in your own home. This manor is located in what I would term Ballina's bullseye. Walking distance to Mainstreet, the ocean and the Shawsy. The swimming pool, despite the frigid temperatures was immaculate, and towels were even located for guests nearby, dare they braved the icy dunk. Parking was exceptionally convenient. All foyers and stairways transported you to a yester place, and yet were maintained within the framework expected in modern five-star luxury. I ate the most delicious pear from the fruit bowl located near the entrance. If you are looking for an affordable, comfortable and beautiful place to stay in Ballina, don't bother looking for anywhere else. A special shout out to Hannah, and the mysterious Gersch, for making us feel so welcome, safe and thrilled during our time at the Manor House. An exemplary showcase of customer service. Thank you.

Our hosts were so friendly and attentive. Parking so easy. This really is a boutique hotel with unlimited character. Our room was so comfortable, clean , quiet and really unique . So easy with no swipe cards needed to enter or leave your room and the hotel. Linen and toiletries top of the range. The pool area is very inviting . The restaurant was also inviting and the music so relaxing. Lovely dining room and spacious deck to sit outside. Continental Breakfast was complementary - great selection and just perfect. Great price per room and deserves 5 star rating.

As we arrived in Ballina early, we asked if they would allow us an area to get changed for a party. We knew check-in was at 12, so we thought we could check in after our lunch. They were so hospitable, they sent us a message with all the information and allowed us to check in straight away. That was so helpful. The information we received was very easy to follow, and the manor was lovely and well looked after. A comfortable bed and our room lead onto a balcony that we could sit and relax. The staff we encountered were lovely.

I really liked the efficiency and email prior to our arrival. It was a key-less and secure entry code, and it meant both of us had the ability to come and go without needing to arrange to share a swipe card or key. Wifi password was included in the welcome message and instructions. A mobile number was provided if we needed to speak to anyone; which we didn't. There was real bottled milk in the fridge, not the UHT thimbles that you routinely get in hotels. The continental breakfast rhe next morning catered easily for my dietary needs being gluten free.

The Ballina Manor Boutique Hotel was an exceptional place for a stopover on our travels. The room was very tastefully decorated and felt cosy and homely. The ensuite was very clean and functional. I loved the velvet dressing gowns that were there for our use. It is a beautifully kept 100 year old hotel. The included continental breakfast was delicious and very well presented. I would highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely be returning soon.

Ballina Manor is a wonderful historic property, our room was beautiful decorated, spacious and incredibly comfortable with a spa bath and a lovely view out to the pool and gardens. The Manor is so well looked after and presented, everywhere was spotlessly clean. The included breakfast was delicious, fresh and plentiful with lots of options. Our hosts, Hannah and Gersch, managed a perfect balance of letting us know they were always available whilst also letting us get on with our stay with privacy and at our own pace. The Manor’s location is great, a short walk to the restaurants, pubs and wharf.

Ballina Manor Boutique Hotel has been impeccably and luxuriously renovated!! It is beautiful!! We loved looking at the old photos of the hotel when it was once a boarding school for girls. It was a wonderful experience to feel a part of history. Our room was such a surprise. It was gorgeous - a bigger than king sized and very comfortable bed, air conditioning, tasteful decor, a television, a fantastic bath and everything we needed. The grounds are lovely and I even got to read my book on the verandah in the afternoon sun outside our room. We were lucky to be in Room 2 which was on the ground floor and with a door opening onto the verandah. It meant we were easily able to bring our luggage inside, and our car was also close (as there is ample parking both on the grounds itself as well as on the road). A ten minute walk into town (if that) and a delicious continental breakfast set up in the dining room the next morning. Communication with the hotel was excellent - thank you for calling me only minutes after leaving to let us know that we had left my husband's phone behind. I highly recommend this property and wish we could have stayed longer we will be returning.

We loved everything! If the weather had been warmer we would have loved to sit out in the rear garden and even have a swim in the pool. It all looked very inviting.

What a beautiful old property, full of character and lovingly maintained. Our huge room with ensuite had access to the wraparound balcony. Even though the room was large the RCAC quickly heated up the room. Bed was large and comfortable . We didnt eat in ( out of season) but my husband swam in the pool and said it was clean and a good size. Fullly enjoyed our stay . Recommend for people who really do not want to stay in a cookie cutter motel - this place has charm and character

Loved everything, if u have to spend a lot of time in your motel working like I did this is def the best place to do it. So comfortable and a beautiful room, great shower with beautiful products provided to use, comfortable bed & chairs to sit in, a lovely verandah/deck to sit as well. Terrific breakfast included and wonderful hosts. Excellent laundry service as well. Loved this place & will definitely be back next time Im up this way.

Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Rm 9. Rear balcony over looking garden and pool. Delicious cocktails and great food on weekend. Continental breakfast only available. Short walk to restaurants. To improve our stay bathroom tap needed washer to fix drip and ceiling fan not working but were provided with a portable fan. In all a lovely place to stay. Thank you to staff member that carried my case down the stairs. Also liked the self check in and keyless doors.
