When we arrived it was told i was on the third floor (great) when we arrived we were give a unit on the 1st floor i was a little unhappy went down to reception and spoke about it and was told our original unit had a electrical light issue. i requested that i have a look and the light in the kitchen area was flashing when turned on. and we were happy to move to the original room even with the small issue. i later found out with the dimmer down below half way the flashing stopped and was no longer a problem. This was when we had a comedy of errors i realized id left our car keys in the first room and reception was closed as id also forgotten about the time change between Qld, NSW. i got the after hours help and this was where the establishment excelled Rob told me where to get the emergency key to gain access to the 1st unit to get my keys which happened with no issues just to realize later that night we had left our pillows in the 1st apartment this wasn't an emergency issue so got them the next day. Rob & Franco were really obliging and had everything set up as i wanted it to be Including a bottle of wine for my deserving special wife. the view of the Richmond river was fantastic. overall our stay was perfect. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable having our own cleaning business i could pick on a few things but choose not to. Overall our stay was perfect the rooms are large and a very comfortable bed. the staff went above and beyond to help us even though i created the issues for them, we are grateful and will definitely be staying the again. Thanks Rob, Franco, and the young lady at reception when we arrived.

There was nothing we didn't like here.

Very friendly, welcoming host. The 2 bedroom unit was massive, enough to cater for 6 people easily. Tastefully decorated. Loved the spa bath. Massive kitchen, dining, lounge & outdoor area. Next to everything, restaurants, bars, eateries. Right next to woolworths. You get a dedicated, free carspace, which was great. A short drive to the beach.

There were only two of us, so we didn't need much, but there was nowhere near enough cookware, utensils, crockery, etc. for a long stay or a large group. No electric frypan or sandwich grill. It had a washer & dryer but no clothes horse, which was very inconvenient.

An excellent place, very nicely presented with quality fittings and furnishings and decorative touches. Our room was huge with two comfortable lounge chairs, large bedside tables, with a stylish and large unit and shelves housing fridge and microwave and lots of power points. Toaster, nice crockery with mugs etc. There was a covered balcony with rattan furniture and partial views of the river, plus a small wall clothesline. Lots of windows, although difficult to open, but all had fly screens. The views in the distance were of the hills and overlooking Ballina but the outlook otherwise around the side and back wasn’t great. The bathroom was small but nicely done and fitted out with plenty of strong hot water. The entry lobby to our room on the third floor was huge, with one side open looking out over Ballina, and furniture to sit on. A lot of thought has gone into this place, it is well laid out, well done, comfortable with a very nice feeling to it. It’s not flash but on the other hand, it’s not the usual cheap motel fare either. Our room was quiet. Terrific value for money, considering the terrific location, right on the river and a one minute walk to the centre of the Main Street and shops. and restaurants. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Our only quibble was that the secure parking underneath had boom gates too low to allow our car (normal size) with a roof pod to enter. We parked outside directly opposite but were anxious about security there although we presume it is relatively safe overnight, like anywhere, always a risk. The only other thing is that you would need a car to go to the brilliant beaches surrounding Ballina, a must do!

Really friendly and helpful guy at reception which was especially nice as he was there over Xmas and Boxing Day. A lovely big room with a large balcony overlooking the town centre and the rolling hills behind. Good hot water and shower. If you’re a light sleeper choose a room on the river side as the garbage truck comes early to service the restaurants on River street but otherwise very quiet.

There was no ‘Do not disturb sign’ available so we had our towels changed everyday which we didn’t want. And under the bed could do with a vacuum.

This was the biggest apartment we have ever stayed in! The place is enormous. The view over the river was amazing and we really enjoyed just relaxing and taking in the view. Huge living area and the master bedroom with ensuite is located away from the other two bedrooms. In fact, the second large bedroom is separated from the third bedroom as well. The kitchen was well equipped and roomy. Woolworths supermarket is directly across the road which was very convenient. We would stay again.

The only criticism we had was that the apartment was not clean. The ensuite toilet was not cleaned from the previous tenant, the kitchen floor had not been mopped (spillage still present) and some of the crockery was very dirty. The plumbing under the kitchen sink was leaking inside the cupboard as well. We reported all these issues to the manager on check out.

Huge apartment, comfortable and quiet. Great view. Allowed us to check in 2 hours early as the room was ready. Furniture and some fittings looking a little tired but very clean. Would stay again. Onsite parking and indoor pool a bonus.

some fittings are looking a little tired, one of the sofas had seen better days, more pillows to choose from would have been great, and a heater in the bathroom would have helped as we stayed in winter. Perhaps a BBQ on the expansive balcony/patio

The location was nice. Handy to shops, walks along the river etc. Apartment was very clean. Verandah was very spacious and outdoor furniture in good condition and comfortable

A bit of food smell from the restaurant downstairs bit the food there is great so not a big problem. Could do with a few more coffee cups and glasses. Expected a king bed but was a queen but comfortable. Parking was very tight, luckily I had asked and we took a small car but not much room

The hotel site was wonderful; the room exceeded our expectations; it had everything we needed. The location was great overlooking the river. Sitting on the verandah at the end of the day watching the sunset was special.

The only disappointing thing that I could say, was we were only there for one night, I wished we could of been there more days to fully appreciate the hotel and scenery.

Apartment 305/306 3BR was beautifully renovated. Very spacious clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Home away from home. Location to shops and restaurant great. We loved sitting on the huge balcony overlooking the river enjoying drinks with family. Kids loved the indoor pool.

The spa bath in the apartment was not in operation at the time of our stay.

The apartment was spacious, we are family of 5, so lots of rooms for everyone. Location is great, right in town with Woolworth close by, a Thai restaurant downstairs and beautiful waterfront view.

The apartment design was dated, I feel it needs new refurbishment and new lighting. The size of apartment and location has a lot of potential. They also need to check the appliances too as the dishwasher in our kitchen didn’t work, however they have been informed when we checked out.
