Really loved this place. Older style motel/hotel on one level - handy for getting stuff in and out of the car), handy layout and inclusions (a microwave!), free laundry and super friendly staff. Great value for money. Exceptionally clean (except for some odd chocolate wrappers under the sofa :)) and older fixtures and fittings but everything was well maintained and nothing was worn or broken. On the edge of town so only a 5 min drive to cafes and supermarkets. Would definitely stay here again.

The continental breakfast is from 7:30am-9:30am and really limited (instant coffee) so not worth bothering with. Additional dietary options in the restaurant would have been nice.

The staff bent over backwards to facilitate our needs of a big car space for our u haul furniture trailer. The manager was so friendly and obviously enjoyed looking after her guests. Her staff also spoke very highly of her and all looked liked they also enjoyed their jobs. Food was lovely , bed was very comfortable and room was spotless. Growing up in motels and hospitality all my life , it was a breath of fresh air finding a venue which treats its guests like family. Couldn’t rate this place any higher.

There was nothing we didn’t like or appreciate

A good hotel with well laid out facilities at the hotel and in the rooms Conveniently located for Ballina, surrounding coast/hinterland and Byron Bay. Really pleased that we stayed here and visited Byron Bay, rather than staying in Byron Bay. We ate out in the evening but came back to the bar for a drink which was well stocked and reasonably priced. Rooms were well equipped and as described, and in good condition. we enjoyed the stay

The hotel was busy on the night we stayed, so breakfast wasn't as well catered as we would have expected. Somethings had run out, even though it was a continental breakfast.

The property was easy to find, there was no significant road noise in our room, we had a premium king room which was spacious with a renovated bathroom, parking outside the door, onsite restaurant with a good variety of meals for dinner and breakfast (wasn’t there for lunch options). We had the continental breakfast included which had a good variety of bread, spreads, cereal options, a couple of juices, even hot cross buns for Easter Sunday!

The shower didn’t drain well and left a pool of water in front of the toilet. Only one towel per guest left in the room.

Great location walking distance everywhere I needed to go. Nice relaxing pool but did need a clean. Comfortable bed. Coffee and Tea making facilities including toaster and microwave

There was no cold water in the fridge. And no ice which you could get from reception The restaurant was closed during our stay except the first night but already had plans with family. They were still and to serve soup or panini to your room There was no eating cutlery for store bought frozen dinners, but you could get it from reception

We booked this motel due to the advertised 9pm check in time, although reception closed early as it was a Sunday. However, an after hours check in was arranged and there was someone available to give us our key. The bed was soft and super comfortable. The room was pleasant. The shower was a good strong one, although it was over a bath, which is not our preference. Overall the accommodation was very good and I would stay again.

Very comfortable and clean. Recently taken over. All rooms have small fridge, microwave and toaster. Coffee, tea and biscuits. Good shower. Complimentary breakfast of cereal, toast, juice etc. Hot breakfast alsi available to purchase. Swimming pool was also open.

Limited hot snacks for a light dinner of soups or panninis. Restaurant open but a little expensive as we only wanted something small.

Very comfortable bed and spacey room. We liked the pool. It was a pleasant and enjoyable stay overnight. A beautiful dog to say hi to in the office.

The sink is outside of the bathroom in the entry space. Just a personal thing. I would rather get ready inside the bathroom that had the mirror and bathroom room all together.

Breakfast included was plentiful and tasty. Good variety. The two kitchen staff I encountered were both very friendly and very obliging. Gave us the start to the day that we needed to continue our journey.

The shower drain was a bit musty. It may be from minimal use as it was a room designed for disabled people, so possibly had not been used over recent days.

Local loving & listening! 🫶🏻 So nice to be taken care of by a team that was so helpful and caring! I’m disabled, and as soon as I made that known the staff went to extra lengths to assist me, without making me feel lesser for it! ❤️ Great facilities, clean, family friendly, and quiet. Excellent options for mini bar and food to take back to my room, it was more like a B&B with that touch of home and care!
