Ballina Beach Resort is not your average caravan park, it’s a notch above; creating for all experiences and walks of life as I observed. On arrival we 🐾 2 fur babies were greeted by Collin he is very accommodating, knowledgeable of the area and showed he enjoyed being here. Cannot forget to mention the cafe staff, the cleaners and to the groundsman were very friendly too! We didn’t just stay here just for a layover, we spent over a week, it is a place you can unwind from life, with birds chirping as the sunrises, hearing the ocean crash throughout the morning to night, the local echinacea crossing pathway, the odd beach turkey making his rounds around the park and the kookaburra singing in the evening as a storm passing through with the rain hitting tin roof. The park grounds are maintained well, cafe area offers light and enjoyable meals with nice vibes happening playing upbeat tunes, the children having a ball in the swimming pool and the playground adjacent to the beach entry. Keeping old values ALIVE the kids can pick up a couple of 20cent lollies 🍬 or a lollipop 🍭or hire 3 wheel bikes! As for my kid-lets they are covered in fur 🥰 LOVED the “puppy park” where they could let their hair down run around, play games and sniff all the different plants and trees! Ballina Nature Beach Resort is close to all amenities for anything you need and if you forget items within the cafe they have your essentials on standby 😉. Thank you to all, you made our well deserved rest enjoyable and in the memory bank for another visit in the future 💕✨🐾

The staff is super attentive and will try to accommodate your needs. The space is great and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. The tents are well structured, with an internal sink that helps and an AC that also works as a heater during the winter.

I believe the hotel has more of the profile to accommodate families, children and youth as they have a water park, barbecues and a lot of outdoor space for sports and cycling. It's perfect for those who want to spend time inside the camping. For solo travels and those exploring the country, the location was not suitable as it's very isolated and it takes a good 30 km to reach the closest city.

What an incredible experience!!! We felt like we were in Africa when staying in their stunning tents stunningly designed our kids love it. The facilities and activities for the kids along with the most gorgeous beach next door was next to none, we saw a an echidna on arrival which was really special and on a beach walk saw a bench seat with a plaque in remembrance of a sweet couple who lost their lives so we paid our respects a reminder of the dangers in the beauty of our beaches. We had breakfast cooked by the chef which was fresh and delicious and we had such a kind chat with the staff overall we were so happy with our stay and will most certainly be back!!!

Nothing it was incredible!!

The location is very secluded and amongst beautiful setting with the river and beach right there. The staff when checking in and were friendly and even allowed a slightly earlier check in as the room was ready. The facilities are fantastic from what we saw (we didn’t visit any laundry or rec rooms), especially for those who have children. We stayed in a cabin with our toddler and 2 dogs and it was very comfortable (except the dripping shower head).

Due to the secluded location, there’s no other shops unless you drive 30 minutes into Ballina. The hours of the cafe - it’s quite hard to try get to the cafe and order dinner by 545pm (as they close at 6pm) as many people are wanting to order. So we didn’t bother. The cafe opening hours in the morning aren’t until 830am or just after and that’s a little late for breakfast for (some) children, or to even get a nice morning coffee. We didn’t have coffee available in the cabin we stayed as it wasn’t stocked. It would be beneficial to know prior that dogs aren’t allowed on the beach / walking track and that there are no other shops nearby. It is good there’s a few groceries onsite, however it is expensive.

We spent a week at the resort over New years. We had a great time at the resort, in the pool everyday, great and convenient access to the beach for fishing, and took the bikes around the grounds. The pool and water park are fairly new as we understand and we're great. They got pretty busy throughout the day but we noticed first thing in the morning and later afternoon were quieter times.

The only thing I could fault them on was their lack of first aid. I understand there is no lifeguard on however there is no support from staff in the way of first aid should there be an accident on the sides or in the water. I asked staff for simple first aid after an accident on the side and simply was told "oh we don't have that", no concern, want asked what happened, nothing. I think this area could be improved upon, they should have basic first aid items and be trained to support accidents until paramedics arrive when required.

The staff were great, they worked hard and were all-rounders. You would see them delivering linen, checking people in, running the kids club activities and serving in the cafe. They did a bit of everything and were very friendly. Our cabin was great. Perfect for a small family and our dogs. Very clean. You can hear the waves at night. So nice. Good activities for kids, pools, park and dog park and a 10 min walk to the beach. Food was delicious at the Cafe.

Price of coffee was a bit high. Cash only washing machines, but couldn't get change from the cafe. Ferry to town $7 each way if you forgot something and needed shops. Dog beach was a bit of a drive, but both beaches were lovely. Nice drive anyway.

An amazing spot with great facilities, close to nature and the beach. Glamping tents surpassed expectations.

The attitude of the staff—we felt like we were doing them a favour everytime we interacted with them. The cocktail menu was advertised, plus the restaurant—we got told, sorry, only chips are available until Friday as the chef is away and can only make cocktails if a certain member of staff is around. But no where is this advertised until you ask. The ceiling fan didn't work - was promised a replacement and nothing happened so we just didn't bother to engage with staff after that and solved our own issues. A real pity as they have an amazing resort but staff can either make or break it.

This is the nicest holiday park I've ever stayed at. It is surrounded by bush and close to a beautiful deserted beach. It was quiet and peaceful. Our glamping tent (the 'luxury swag') was clearly built to a high standard. It had a nice little deck out the front with good solid chairs. There was a basin with running water and plenty of electric points, neither of which tou could take for granted in a tent. There was a toaster and electric jug as well as plates and bowls. The only thing missing was a sharp knife.

This place is absolutely amazing! Surrounded by nature and just steps from the beach, it offers a serene escape that's beautifully maintained and spotless. I stayed in the luxury swag, which was cozy and incredibly comfortable — perfect for relaxation and quality time with loved ones. The only downside is that getting there without a car can be challenging, but it's absolutely worth the effort. I also had an issue with my reservation, but the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making the experience even better.
